Once you push this huge typical parisian door, rue des Martyrs : Montmartre is just up the street - a must do.
You'll enter in a beautiful residency.
On the ground zero, you will have no issues getting up the 5 steps up to the flat. You'll find your perfect parisien quiet place to stay, on 2 levels (apartment and studio) on a very quiet courtyard.
Three locked gates made us feel very safe.

There are many excellent things to say about the apartment, location, and the owners. The location is perfect with many restaurants and shops and the metro is very close. The apartment has all you need and the beds were spacious. After walking over 10 miles a day we feel this location was perfect. The hosts communicated everything very well. We hope we can come back soon.

We came to Paris to eat great food and see as much of the city as we could. The location of this apartment cannot be beat! It’s in a quaint neighborhood with so many brasseries, patisserie’s, and shops, plus there is a market right down the street. It’s a short walk to the metro station and there are cards on the table for you to refill. There was ample room for our group, we cooked dinner one night and we were able to do laundry. Genevieve met us at the flat and gave us the rundown on everything. It’s gated so we felt very safe. All in all, 10/10!

Formidable séjour à Paris

Nous étions 6 femmes, de 9 à 79 ans, et avons adoré notre séjour de 6j, le quartier est extraordinaire, plein de vie, près de tout. Boulangeries, fruiterie, épicerie, fromagerie, charcuterie, caviste, pharmacie, plusieurs options de métro et vélo. La canicule a ralenti nos promenades mais on a très bien dormi grâce aux nombreuses fan fournies. Les petits plus qui ont rendu notre séjour encore plus confortable: lave-vaisselle, laveuse, 2 salles de bains complètes, un grand frigo/ congélateur pour garder l’eau au frais et faire des gourdes glacées pour le lendemain. Nous avons fait plein de souvenirs et recommandons chaudement cet endroit et y reviendrons sans hésiter!

Amazing location including the lively and fun neighborhood. So close to Montmartre and an easy walk to the Opera House and more! The location won!

Great stay on a wonderful street

Genevieve met us at the apartment and showed us how everything worked. Plenty of room for mom, grandma, grandpa and 2 college age kids. Rue de Matrys is one of the best streets in Paris. Shops, restaurants, and bakeries everywhere. Close to metro and bus stops. The streets were very clean with bistros and restaurants on every corner. If we come back to Paris we want to stay here again.

Fantastic location for all of Paris

The location was great. Both directions cafes all over. Local food everywhere. Loved the area so much would stay again. We were 5 adults and plenty of room.

Great location!

Nice size property with basement area for the teens! Only downside is a window between the two double bedrooms - ok for us but not if you need more privacy! Loved our stay in this apartment - fantastic food shops all around, metro and buses really accessible!

Wonderful stay.

Genevieve met us when we arrived and explained how everything in the apartment worked. The apartment was exactly as described. The neighborhood was wonderful with many shops selling everything we needed - patisserie, boulangerie, fromagerie, boucherie, etc. and also a full grocery store. There were also many cafes, bistros and bars. We were also close to multiple metro stops. We would gladly choose thus apartment again.

Lovely stay in Paris for family of 5 adults

This apartment is in a very nice neighborhood of Paris. We had a bit of a rough start with a loud party above us the first night when all of us just needed sleep from jet lag. Otherwise a very quiet place. The bedding could be nicer and showers are very small. However there are two bathrooms. The washer was also nice to have and there is a large drying rack. Access to grocery, pastries, cafes and sweets are all close as well as well as metros. We loved our stay!

Emplacement excellent, accueil chaleureux.

À l’arrivée , nous sommes accueillis par l’ hôtesse nous remettant les clés et nous expliquant les moindres détails facilitant le séjour. On ne manque de rien de ce qui est nécessaire au quotidien : vaisselle, serviettes,etc.

Great stay in Arrondissement 9

We had a wonderful stay over Christmas for 8 days at the apartment that’s located in a great and central location in Arrondissement 9. It was a close walk to the metro and had lots of great restaurants, grocery, and bakeries all around. It’s also a not far walk to Montmartre. The house had 5 beds so plenty of space for our family of 5. Two separate bathrooms and a full kitchen. The living room was good size and had Netflix so we were able to watch a couple Christmas movies. All in all a great stay and we’d come here again!

Great apartment in a perfect location

Everything about the apartment was wonderful. The property itself had everything we needed for a family of 5, including beds for each of the kids and 2 toilets (a lot of the apartments we looked at had 2 showers, but only 1 toilet. Not what you want when traveling with 3 kids). The location was absolutely fantastic. 3 different bakeries within a 90 second walk. Multiple cheese shops, dessert shops, even excellent dumplings. We ended up buying food to go and eating meals in the apartment most mornings and nights. Also close to 3 different metro lines, and a bus that goes directly uphill to Sacre Coeur. We'd definitely stay here again.

Perfect location

Most amazing stay

We absolutely loved our time here. As mentioned in other reviews, this apartment has an amazing location with restaurants, bakeries, pharmacies, grocery stores, etc, all within short walking distance. Hosts were amazing. We felt lucky to have stayed here, and were sad to leave.

Nice appartment and perfect Location to explore Paris

Very nice appartment (everything there what you need). Great Communication with Host. They are pretty pleasent. Very good starting Point to visit Paris. Directly in Montmatre with a lot of Shops and Restaurants. Absolutly recommendable.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The host was kind and greeted us on time and had good information to share about the area. We were a family of five with two older teenagers and a grandparent over 80. The apartment was safe, clean and easily accessible. Our teens had a fun stay in the lower level, bright and spacious with a separate bathroom! The location was perfect. It is walking distance to a few transit stations that can take you anywhere in Paris. There is a lot of shopping in the area, pharmacies, small grocery stores, places to pick up everyday items like fresh bakery goods, gelato, meat, cheese, wine, fresh vegetables and fruits. Restaurants and cafes are everywhere too. The area doesn’t feel like it’s full of tourists but as a tourist we still felt very welcome. We really enjoyed our stay thank you so much.

Best stay in Paris so far!!

The location is perfect and the owners were extremely kind, responsive, and accommodating. We had a wonderful week here and will absolutely come back again. Flat was lovely, very clean and exactly as described and pictured. Three locked gates made us feel very safe. My 68 year old mother had no issues getting up the 5 steps up to the flat. Surrounded by great shopping, grocery stores, restaurants and cafes…everything you could possibly need. Montmartre is just up the street - a must do. This was my very first experience with a VRBO in another country and I will admit that I was nervous. But after staying here, I’m quite confident I won’t bother with expensive hotels again. This really boosted my confidence and made our visit an overall amazing experience. We’ll be back for sure!

Lage - Lage - Lage ... in einer der typischsten Straßen von Paris mit Feinkost, Bäckereien, Metzgereien, Fischläden, Supermarkt, Restaurants, Metrostation in unmittelbarer Nähe. Dazu noch sehr nette und aufmerksame Vermieter. Herz was willst Du mehr? Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert!

great location!

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this apartment. It is on an amazing street filled with bakeries, restaurants, and all kinds of neat shops. We loved waking up and getting pastries and just walking around the community. It is also close to multiple metro stations so we could get anywhere we wanted easily. Thanks Genevieve for getting us set up and being a wonderful host!

Perfect in every way

We feel extremely fortunate to have discovered this apartment. We loved everything about it, from the location to the accommodations. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We also couldn’t believe how quiet and secure it was. Genevieve and Laurent were extremely helpful and provided detailed information prior to, and upon, our arrival. They were extremely kind and offered tips about safety on the metro, nearby attractions, and grocery stores. We had visited the 9th but never stayed there- it was FANTASTIC! The street has countless little shops, restaurants, and cafés, and it’s easy to get anywhere in Paris from there. We’re hoping to return to this super apartment one day- we recommend it without hesitation. Merci pour tout!
