This newly renovated apartment is situated in a unique location in Costa Brava’s beautiful Tamariu. Only 2 minutes walk from the beach and the waterfront cafes and restaurants, the apartment is in the ideal location.

The apartment is composed of two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom that comfortably accommodate a family of four.
It has recently been renovated, from the kitchen to the floors, giving the apartment a very cosy and homely feel. It also boasts an elegant living arrangement that opens up onto a balcony, perfect for relaxation or entertainment. If that’s not enough, there is also a rooftop terrace with partial ocean views to chill out with a book or a glass of wine and even well prepared for a dinner under the moonlight.

The apartment is suitable for year round seasonal changes. Natural ventilation keeps it cool during the hotter months, while a fireplace (a new device, insert model Graffiti Rocal, has been installed November 2017 for more comfort) keeps it warm and cosy during the cooler months. Less than 20 meters away from the apartment you will find a bakery to provide you with delicious breakfasts. Further down the road you will find a bus stop that connects you to Palafrugell and onto further destinations such as Barcelona.

Great beach break

Less than a 5 minute stroll to lovely Tamariu beach. The inside space is quite compact but spotlessly clean, very well kept, thoughtfully furnished and equipped to make the most of the space. Its the terraces that really make it though. Sara was very helpful when we were organising our trip and always responsive if we needed anything

Small but charming

Apartment exactly as shown in pictures. Bright and sunny. Small but everything you need for a short stay. 5 min walk to the beach and town, with easy access to trails (Cami de Ronda) and thus other swimming coves (calas) along the coast. Tamariu is small but charming. Only drawback is that the apartment is on the main street into town with lots of truck/motorcycle traffic. So not very quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much.

El trato del anfitrión inmejorable. Tanto Mercedes como Sara han estado en todo momento para nosotros. El apartamento se encuentra perfectamente ubicado y con todas las necesidades. Destacar las dos grandes terrazas y las medidas tomadas de higiene.

Très bel appartement, très bien situé, je recommande :)

Nous avons été ravis par cette location. L'appartement est parfait avec tout le confort nécessaire (et même plus). Nos deux enfants ont eu leur chambre et nous, une chambre très agréable avec de belles vues. La salle à manger, avec cheminée très fonctionnelle, a accès à une jolie terrasse. Nous avons eu la chance de manger tous les jours au soleil et la situation est super: tout se fait à pied. Nous reviendrons.

Cute apartment close to the beach

The apartment was situated close to the beach in the town of Tamariu. We loved the ability of walking to the beach, restaurants, and other amenities. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. The apartment was clean and tidy. It was bright and airy we could have our morning breakfast on the front deck. The apartment does not air conditioning which would have been nice during the hot month of July (at least in the bedrooms). Also, there is no wifi. Bath towels are provided for an extra fee. All in all it was a pleasant stay.

Fantastic 10 Day Stay @ Dar Mima ^^

We enjoyed a fantastic family break in Tamariu this summer. The property has everything needed for an enjoyable break and the town itself is a fantastic location. We found both the beach and the road on which the property sits busy, but when you travel in 'peak' season this is to be expected. Sara was a joy to deal with throughout and I would warmly recommend Dar Mima ^^.

Wonderful Stay in Dar Mima^^

We stayed in Dar Mima for a week . We had a wonderful stay and found it hard to leave when it was time to go. The apartment has recently been renovated and was very neat and clean with lovely decor. It has a lovely terrace and even a charming roof deck, with stunning views of the ocean. It is well-furnished, comfortable and well-equipped. We loved the town of Tamariu and felt that it is the best vacation spot in Costa Brava. The beach is maybe a 2 min walk from the house. We also visited several other towns in Costa Brava and found this villa to be a great base location. You will not regret renting Dar Mima. The owner is also very nice and easy to work with.

We had a wonderful time in Tamariu and Dar Mima. Everything was well organised in the House and Mrs. Mercedes was very helpful. We could easily see ourselves coming back to Tamariu and Dar Mima another time.

A wonderful deal

Very cosy place to stay at ,perfect for couples and families with kids. Furnished with all details, immaculately clean and neat. we have enjoyed a lot the upper terrace for small games and dinners outside.The beach, with crystalline water, is less than a 5 minute walk from the villa´s door. thanks a million to the owners for the facility and the great communication. we strongly recommend " Dar Mima". A beautiful stay in the lovely"Dar Mima"

Dar Mima is a lovely spot with everything you may need. It’s very clean, bright and with dense trees in the surroundings. The kitchen is completely new and has good equipment. We loved the balcony, ideal place for meals, and the roof terrace, a perfect place to relax and unwind. Dar Mima is also a very short walk from the beach. The communication with the owners was fast and fruitful, they made sure we had all the info we needed to enjoy our stay. Tamariu is lovely, lots to do there. We hope to be soon back in “Dar Mima”.

Un lieu plein de charme

Nous avons passé un séjour en famille à Tamariu et ces vacances ont été magnifiques. Ce bel appartement est en tout point conforme au site, situé dans un cadre verdoyant et très près de la mer (moins de 3 minutes à pied) avec deux belles terrasses. A beautiful place to spend your holidays

Congratulations to the owners who accommodated us in a charming and welcoming home. Dar Mima has that Mediterranean special "flavour" and is decorated with lovely details. The kitchen is equipped with everything you may need, and the master and children bedrooms are beautiful with gorgeous views. The terrace that is just out of the dining room, is ideal for breakfasts and dinners, and the upper terrace, a hiding place for relax. The delicious pastry just in front , the beach walk out to touch, the nice atmosphere of this small fishing village and the comfort and beauty of "Dar Mima" are excellent reasons to choose this location ...We are already looking forward to returning .

Dar Mima^^ un charme spéciale

Un grand merci pour l´accueil charmant et le dynamisme de Sara. Nous avons visité en 1 semaine autant qu'en deux semaines. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour où nous avons pu faire de la plongée, monter à cheval et visiter marchés et villages ainsi que les merveilleuses plages de la Costa Brava. Sara a téléphoné pour nous aux différents endroits afin de réserver et planifier notre séjour. "Dar" Mima" était confortable et formidablement équipée et grâce à la petite terrasse nous avons pu prendre le petit déjeuner sur place, en allant chercher le pain et les croissants juste en face. Vraiment ravies, nous y reviendrons

eine sehr gute Lage

eine schöne Nähe und eine schÖne Wohnung besonders für Familien. Es gibt viele wunderschöne Resaurants , dem Strand entlang. Die Wohnung war genau wie beschrieben : bequem und gut eingerichtet . nicht zu vergessen ist der Blick ins Meer . wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder !!

Très agréable séjour!

Appartement type maison, très bien situé, à deux pas de la mer, plein de charme et très bien fourni, large vue sur mer et belles terrasses. Agréables randonnées autour du village, possibilités de faire de la plongée, une adorable petite plage de sable pour jouir toute la famille. L'appartement "Dar Mima" est très agréable, parfaitement équipé, propre et très confortable. L''accueil des propriétaires était vraiment professionnel et chaleureux. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la vue depuis la terrasse et l'invitation au relax de cet appartement. "Dar mima" est aussi très bien situé pour les personnes cherchant un point d’ancrage pour visiter la région (Pals, Perratalda, Palamos...) et naviguer de plage en plage en profitant de la vie à Tamariu.

charming spot!

Dar Mima met all our expectations. It is well finished and has all you need for a comfortable stay. Two nicely decorated bedrooms with beautiful views on pines and trees open air area. A completely equipped kitchen and bathroom. A wonderful terrace that overviews the sea, a great location only a short stroll to the beach and Tamariu’s beautiful bay. We will definitely visit again.

Appartement très bien conçu, trés bien équipé, bien placé, à quelques pas de la plage et du centre de Tamariu. Un intérieur acceuillant, propre, confortable, très lumineux, ouvert de tous les côtés sur un beau paysage vert qui nous donnait l’impression d’être dans une belle maison avec des jardins autours. Nos enfants ont adoré la petite plage de Tamariu, ainsi nous retournerons sûrement a "Dar Mima".

Lovely and cozy location in Tamariu

It was a real pleasure staying in Dar Mima. The owners were extraordinarily helpful in every way. The apartment was great and the setting was perfect, it was very tastefully furnished, clean and had everything needed and more. Excellent kitchen and full kitchen equipment. We had such a comfortable stay and it felt so home-y. The large terrace was a delight for us. We had a hard time leaving in the mornings because it was so nice being there. Truly a fantastic stay. We highly recommend Dar Mima.
