Why Claude Laroche chose Valencia City Centre
On the coast of the Mediterranean Sea centerand at the heart of the zone of production of citrus fruits, Valencia enjoys an ideal climate. It is a city of a great beauty with strong traditions (festival of Fallas) and its historic district has a lot of character. This apartment is situated at the heart of the district of the Carmen unless 500 meters of major tourist objectives as the Square of the Virgin, the Cathedral, the Palace of the Generalitat, the Towers of Serranos. We can also take advantage of gardens of the former waterway of the river Turia, in approximately 200 m. Its central location makes that we can easily go on foot in all the interesting places of the city. The beach is accessible by bus.

Great flat great location
Situated in the old part of Valencia this flat is a real gem. Excellently located for exploring the old parts of the city such as the cathedral, central market etc. Plenty of restaurants and bars around with bakeries and mini supermarkets nearby. The flat itself was excellent and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped, it was in excellent decorative order, comfy beds, 2 good sized bathrooms we were very impressed. The outside terrace area was a real bonus. Claude the owner was very helpful, met us exactly as agreed, showed us all the features of the apartment when he let us in - we had 2 sets of keys which was useful. Would definitely stay here again.
This apartment is beautiful, spacious, plenty of amenities, stunning terrace and an awesome location. Claude was great to work with and very responsive to questions. There is a book with tons of suggestions on places to visit, eat and enjoy. I’ve never stayed in a more organized place. Can’t wait to come back!
We highly recommend Claude's apartment in Valencia. The location is great. Nicely equipped. Roomy.
The caretaker, Paco, was extremely helpful in orienting us to the apartment and the location within Valencia. Claude was very responsive when we needed to have a taxi pick us up at 4:00 am and get to the airport. The apartment was very clean, well equipped, comfortable beds, with nice linens and towels. The terrace was pleasant. There are many good restaurants within walking distance. We had a great time in Valencia and very much enjoyed the apartment. Highly recommended.
Location was excellent within walking distance of the main transport links and the old city
The apartment was everything we expected from the description. Clean well equipped and quiet Claude was very accommodating allowing us to leave our luggage as we had a very early morning flight. Would certainly recommend for groups of friends and families. We also discovered the local tourist office has a facility to leave luggage at €4.50 pet day if you have a late flight. We would certainly recommend this apartment
Thank you for your kind review. I shall be happy to welcome you again.
Spacious apartment centrally located but very quiet!
We stayed here for a week. Air conditioning worked beautifully (August is HOT) as well as all the other appliances (washer etc). The apartment is very spacious with 3 bedrooms (2 queen, 1 single) and 2 bathrooms. Very quiet complex so it was easy to sleep at night. Kitchen is well stocked and so is the separate laundry. Beautiful little terrace all to yourself and lots of mercardos and bike rental shops just outside the door. Parking was ok, a little tight but where in Spain isn't! We fit our VW Touran but anything bigger would struggle. Claude kept us well informed and we had everything we needed to access the apartment and we were met very promptly. Traveling all over Spain this was out 28th apartment so far and it is in the top 2 on our list.
It has been a pleasure to welcome you in our apartment, and your excellent reviews touch us a lot. That encourages us to do always better. We shall be very happy to welcome you again. Please tell me which is the apartment which surpasses mine: it could be a purpose of stay for me.
Claude and Anne.
Home from home
A spacious, well equipped and furnished first floor flat in the old city of Valencia. It’s located close to one of the remaining old city gates, close to a metro station and within walking distance of musuems, central market and square; bars and restaurants; mini supermarkets and shop. Also within walking distance to the modern part of the city, easy to get to the beautiful sandy beach and across the road from Turia garden with its walking and cycling paths.
The flat is fully air conditioned. Has a well equipped, fully functional spacious kitchen with all the mod cons and a laundry area with washing machine and drying facilities.
Has a terrace with garden furniture and an array of potted plants giving it a truly Mediterranean feel.
Spacious 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are double and have en suite bathrooms; the single bedroom user would have to use one of the ensuite bathrooms which I would say is the one and only downside of this flat.
All towels, linen, some toiletries, enough dishwasher tablets, washing powder, detergents, washing up liquid is provided to start off your stay.
The check in and check out was smooth.
I would highly recommend this flat for short or long stays.
Thank you very much. I couldn't tell better about my apartment. You always will be welcome.
Valencia being the third city of Spain, is accessible by air, by train, by bus, and by road. It is also an important port that allows to go to the Balearic Islands by ferry.
There are numerous cafés and restaurants at all the prices in the city, and particularly in the district of the Carmen. Of course you need to taste the paella, speciality of Valencia (I recommend La Genuina, in Pinedo). We also find in the region the vineyard of Utiel Requena which gives a varied and good quality production. The very beautiful Central Market is 500 m of the apartment, just next to another marvel, the “Lonja de la Seda”.
Valencia is also a city of culture: numerous museums, the Palace of the music, cabarets (for example the Duende, which presents every Thursday shows of flamenco). The festival of Fallas (around March 15th) is unforgettable and testifies of a well anchored and very long-lived tradition.
