Geräumige, helle, gut ausgestattete Wohnung auf zwei Etagen mit toller Terrasse und Meerblick, nur ein Katzensprung vom Meer entfernt. Allerdings an einer befahrenen Straße gelegen, deshalb nichts für Lärmempfindliche.

Die Lage und die Ausstattung der Wohnung waren für uns als Familie mit zwei Jugendlichen perfekt. Die Nähe zum Bahnhof für die Besichtigung der umliegenden Städte war sehr gut, so konnten wir das Auto stehen lassen. Der Check-in und Check-out war war problemlos. Wir können die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.

Great Location for Privacy and Quiet

I rented this apartment for my son and wife and their daughter. It was their first time in Menton and they loved staying here. The balcony was a plus for the great view of the sea across the street. It was a bit of a tight squeeze to have dinner out there for 5 people, but we managed it. Also a great view for the fireworks in Menton Harbour!My family used the kitchen a lot and it was well equipped with everything they needed. It could maybe use some brighter lighting .. was a bit dark using it at night. All in all, they enjoyed their stay there and Isabel was a great and attentive host.

Lovely town but be weary.

Menton is a beautiful town which we really enjoyed. The apartment suited our purposes and was convenient. The problem arose 6 days after we left when the host charged us an additional 50 euros for cleaning (on top of the cleaning fee already charged). She left a nasty message on the platform message board. I thought there must be a mistake as we had washed all the dishes, wiped down the counters, taken out the refuse and made the beds. I contacted the owner who claimed the apartment was dirty and said we had made a hole in the wall. This was completely untrue. We hadn't even cooked in the apartment and had only used 2 of the 3 beds as one was broken and very uncomfortable. She claimed we should have cleaned the microwave and coffee machine and there was a small dustbin in the bathroom we hadn't noticed on the last day (although it only had contact lense covers etc. in it). We had left Menton having had such a lovely time and this was a disappointing way to be treated as guests that it has soured our memories of the place. It is clear that this had been done before. Also, prior to the stay, the booking was amended from 7 nights to 6 nights and I never received any refund for the 1 night. Go to Menton, but be careful who you rent from.

Picking up our son

We traveled to Menton to pick our son up from school never having been to the region. Menton exceeded all expectations and this apartment was a fantastic place to stay. We appreciated the laundry and the spectacular view from the patio. Isabel was a lovely host and easy to work with. Excellent!

Empfehlenswert!

Wir, zwei Erwachsene und drei Teenager, haben 2 sommerlich warme Wochen Anfang Oktober in Menton verbracht. Die Stadt ist sehr schön und im Herbst auch nicht mehr so überlaufen. Die Wohnung hat alles, was man braucht. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, mit Backrohr und kleinem Geschirrspüler, und es waren sogar Salz, Essig, Öl, Kaffee, Tee und Zucker vorhanden. In einem der zwei Badezimmer gibt es auch eine Waschmaschine, die wir allerdings nicht genutzt haben. Es gibt zwar nur ein „richtiges“ Doppelbett, aber die zwei Bettsofas sind bequem genug zum Schlafen, eines davon wird als Einzelbett angegeben, war aber breit genug für unsere beiden Mädchen im Alter von 12 und 14 Jahren. Die Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer ist sicherlich ein grosses Plus. Kleinere Strände sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der Lärm der vorbeiführenden Strasse hält sich in Grenzen und hat uns nicht gestört. Es gibt zwar im Prinzip Parkplätze rund um die Wohnung, aber es ist nicht sicher, dass man auch einen findet, wenn man einen braucht. Das war für uns aber kein Problem; wir haben das Auto die ganzen 2 Wochen nicht benutzt, sondern die Gegend stattdessen mit dem Zug erkundet. Die Lage der Wohnung, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Bahnhof Menton-Garavan entfernt, ist dafür ideal. Alle Orte entlang der Küste nach Westen zu, u.a. Roquebrune, Monaco, Beaulieu, Nizza, Antibes und Cannes, sind bequem und günstig zu erreichen, man kann aber auch Richtung Osten nach Italien fahren. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert!

Bella posizione e bellissima casa

Panorama bellissimo da entrambi i piani della casa, pulitissima, accessoriata di ogni cosa (macchina caffè, bollitore, salviette, ecc.). Vicina alla fermata del pullman e alla stazione del treno, ti fa scordare di essere arrivati in auto. Che dire è stata un ottima vacanza. Très bel appartement

Merci Isabel pour votre accueil. L appartement, très bien placé, fonctionnel avec climatisation, a une une superbe vue sur la mer, le port et le vieux menton. Tout est accessible à pieds, en train ou en bus. Nous avons passé un excellent sejour. Angèle et sa famille.

Appartement agréable avec vue mer sublime

Appartement agréable et propre avec une vue mer sublime, pratique avec ses 2 salles et bains, stationnement facile autour de l’appartement. Un peu excentré mais jolie ballade en bord de mer pour arriver dans le vieux menton, de plus il y a des bus à 2 pas de l’appartement ! Accueil extra par Isabel l’hôte qui est très sympathique, serviable et arrangeante ! Je recommande vivement ! ( Merci pour les petites attentions gressins et jus ça fait toujours plaisir )

Nous gardons précieusement cette adresse.

Un très agréable duplex, une vue mer particulièrement appréciable, très bien placé à Garavan, pas trop loin à pied du vieux Menton et à "2 pas" de l'Italie ! En fait, un certain charme "résidentiel", une petite vie de quartier loin de l'ambiance trop bruyante du Menton touristique. On se sent vite chez soi. Très bonne communication avec une propriétaire très prévenante. Nous reviendrons !

Nice air conditioned, large location with beautiful view of the water!!!!! Convenient location to the train!! Easy to the market to get anything you need. Plenty of supplies in the kitchen to do the basic cooking. Owner provided towels upon our request - she will take care of you , just let her know what you need. She had cold water waiting for us when we arrived!

Appartamento nuovo e luminoso

L'appartamento è nuovo, è molto luminoso e carino e ci ha fatto piacere trovarlo pulito. La vicinanza alla stazione del treno Menton Garavan ci ha permesso di dimenticarci l'automobile nel parcheggio sotto casa, e di poter visitare comodamente i paesi vicino ed il Principato di Monaco. Il primo supermercato è raggiungibile a piedi e allungandosi ancora un po' si arriva al centro storico di Mentone. Essendo gennaio non abbiamo potuto mangiare sul terrazzo, ma la vista è molto bella!!

Great place

We loved the apartment. It was very clean and big enough for the 5 of us. As well the beach and the restaurant were in a good walking distance. With the train we went to Monaco and Nice, which was an easy and convenient tip. We can recommend the apartment. Beatrix Inauen

Stupenda

Appartamento comodissimo per due coppie, le foto non rendono giustizia. Al piano di sotto una fantastica camera ricavata con pareti scorrevoli e due bagni studiati benissimo. La vista e spettacolare, sono fornite le lenzuola ma bisogna portare da casa gli asciugamani. Cucina completa. Alla fine del soggiorno si può scegliere se pulire la casa o lasciare 40€. Torneremo sicuramente.
