Relaxing time on the Dorsaduro

The apartment is spacious and has great views of the small canal outside. Silvia provided fantastic service before and during our week at the apartment. The beds were good, as were the sofas and other furniture. All appliances and kitchen needs were supplied and in good condition. The dishwasher, fridge and washing machine are all good quality and worked well. The place has very much a homely feel to it, and it was easy to live there. There are supermarkets, shops, restaurants and waterbus stops nearby. We really enjoyed being in this neighbourhood far removed from the tourist hordes. However, like all older places in cities like Venice, the apartment has a few idiosynchracies eg intermittent hot water and only being able to use one appliance at a time. We would thoroughly recommend it for one or two couples.

The bathroom faucet water flow was at a dribble. Had to use a pitcher to carry hot and cold water.

The bathroom faucet water came out as a dribble. The kitchen cabinet with all of the dishes had doors that were extremely difficult to open. The flat could be very nice if the owner would put a few euros into updating the flat.

Beau séjour à Venise

Un appartement très agréable vaste et aéré, avec une jolie vue. La rénovation est de qualité les chambres vastes et la cuisine fonctionnelle. Seule la salle de bain est un peu moins confortable. Un petit plus , nous avons trouvé sur place des guides touristiques et des livres d'art sur les expos en cours à Venise et une jolie décoration, une délicate attention des propriétaires. Le quartier est vivant sans être trop touristique la location est assez proche des vaporetti et des commerces. Nous avons passé un très plaisant séjour.

le charme du lieu est à l'image du quartier

tout y est très agréable : le quartier, l'appartement( sa surface, sa décoration, son équipement) ainsi que les contacts avec la propriétaire . A conseiller à ceux qui souhaitent s'éloigner un peu du flux touristique tout en restant malgré tout au coeur de venise.
