Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was nice. My biggest complaint was the pool area. It needed a refresh, paint and a good ceaning,, updated furniture. The location was fine, a decent bike ride to beach and harbour town.

Mixed feelings

The house was comfortable and in a super location. The property manager was easy to communicate with. Some things of note that were disappointing. It smelled musty in the house. There were many non working light bulbs. The dryer took hours to dry anything. Outside flood lights didn’t work until the last night we were there so never got to be in the back at night. Running toilet upstairs. We were only there 4 days so was impactful for a short stay. Upstairs king bed squeaky and uncomfortable. Positive things- the house is well equipped, pool is nice, pool table was great and great for families.

Family Labor Dwy weekend stay

The house and pool were very nice and clean. I would stay again but would have a few suggestions for the owners. There were 5 in our party and we rented for five days. Each bath had two large towels and two wash clothes. Therefore, we would need to launder them. Not a problem, but the dryer would not dry items. Also, one trash bag left for Kitchen. Make sure to take additional items if staying here. Otherwise, a lovely place and good time

Home Run!

Home is spacious, clean, and has a hotel vibe. Sea Turtle Getaways offered amazing customer service. Can’t go wrong with this property or the management company.

Great stay!

Excellent communication before and after booking by management! I was a little concerned with us visiting in the first week of June and no option to heat the pool that it would be too cold to use, but it was absolutely perfect for kids and adults all week!

Sea Pines Weekend

We love sharing Hilton Head with our grandson and this year we were able to do that with our furry members of the family. Great house in a great neighborhood. Perfect family get away

Couples golf trip

Was a fantastic home. Set up nice for entertaining. Uber was easy to get to all the great places to eat nearby. House slept 6 of us very well. The pool table was great. We didn’t swim but the pool area is very nice. We will rent this home again next year for sure!

Special features include a very large private pool area, great for relaxing, even though the water is too cool to swim for us. We had great family time playing billiards. We especially loved this home because it is light and bright with lots of windows, which appealed to us vs a dark home. We loved our time and would love to stay a month or longer.

Great Vacay

This was a very nice property aside from a couple small things that need updating, this property met our expectations. Upon arrival I had to do a wipe down especially in the bathrooms. Doesn’t seem like dusting is a priority but everything else seemed to be pretty clean. The pool and billiards table was a huge hit with the family. Our dog also enjoyed her stay here too . We would definitely stay here again. The property manager was always available to answer any questions we had and thank them for that. . We would highly recommend this house to anyone who seems at all interested because you won’t regret it. We hope to be back again!!

Wonderful Vacation!

33 Water Oak was perfect for our family of 8 adults and 1 baby. We have plenty of room, and loved swimming in the private pool and playing pool plus other games, cooking, grilling and just spending time together in the house. We were also convenient to the beaches, activities and restaurants of HHI. One of our favorite vacations because it was both fun, and very relaxing!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay at 33 water Oak, this was the first time we’ve stayed in this part of sea pines. One comment on the location is it’s a bit far from the beach, it’s about a 15-20 minute bike ride but we drove each day with luck on our side as we got a parking space at the beach club every day. Tip, spaces are typically taken by 10:30 AM. The home was spacious and had everything we needed, The kitchen was very well stocked with all the utensils and supplies ended! The bed in the master bedroom bed was also fabulous/comfortable which is not something I would typically say at a rental home. Home is very bright and has a good layout that allows everyone their own space. The pool was a huge hit, one issue we were having is that the drains on the pool deck weren’t draining the water Much so we had standing water on the pool deck almost the entire stay. The owners did provide a squeegee which we would squeegee the water off each time, minor inconvenience. We also had issues with the upstairs air conditioning unit but the maintenance staff arrived within two hours of us reporting the problem and had it fixed immediately. Overall we were very happy with our stay! Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home!

Great Place

The place is beautiful. Looks just like pictures. There is not a fenced in yard so I took my dog to dog park everyday. Pool is very nice. Plenty of room. We loved the pool table.

Water oak

Main floor of house was updated. The upstairs was tired and needs a refresh. There was definitely a musty/moldy smell in the house when we arrived so I’m sure there have been water issues before. During a rain storm there a couple of water leaks and maintenance was like we will come tomorrow. House had a great pool. The AC on the main floor worked well but upstairs it was very warm and sticky feeling. The kitchen is great and well stocked. Overall, the house was nice but definitely has some deferred maintenance.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: We enjoyed our stay at 33 Water Oak. Sea Turtle Getaways was very easy to work with and easily reachable when I had questions while booking. They gave us a courtesy call during our stay to advise that pest control would be outside spraying, which although is in the contract, no notification is guaranteed, so that was nice. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, about a 20-minute bike ride to the beach. The bedrooms are large with comfortable beds and the open living / dining / kitchen and separate billiards room provide ample indoor space to spread out. The kitchen was well appointed with cookware, plates, and utensils. The pool was nice and there were ample pool toys / floats for use. Suggestions: The house could use a deep cleaning, as in high touch surfaces (doorknobs, light switches, etc.) which had visible handprints / dirt such that we spent a couple hours wiping down after a quick trip to the store for Windex and Clorox wipes. Replacement of the coffee pot and adding some food saving type kitchenware would be nice. The limited dish towel / dish cloth (1 of each) and towels / wash cloths (8 of each) is bare minimum. We were a party of 5 and made it with the bath linens, we did purchase additional dish cloths and dish towels for use while there. A bottle of liquid hand soap in each bathroom would be nice, as the small / sample bars provided weren't enough. This may be standard when renting from a management company (we've grown accustomed to ABnB), and if so, full disclosure regarding the limited linens and suggestions for packing / shopping list would be nice. Overall, the stay was very pleasant. I'd rent through Sea Turtle Getaways again and happily return to 33 Water Oak.

Lovely home

Big, beautiful house in a quiet residential area of Sea Pines. It's about a 15 minute bike ride from the beach. It was perfect for the 5 of us. Loved playing pool in the evenings. The outdoor pool is not heated so the water was too cold for us to enjoy that amenity on this trip. I would readily rent this home again on another trip to HHI.

We have adult kids, and loved the pool table-The bedrooms were large and comfortable. The kitchen was equipped, and we cooked large meals and didn’t get in each other’s way. The parking was ok even there is only room for 3 cars in the driveway, any other cars can just park in the Trolley lot. We loved Sea Pines, and the access to everything.
