Our house is located on the central coast of California, on the Monterey Peninsula at the southern end of Monterey Bay. Our neighborhood, is perched on a gentle slope, with expansive ocean views as you walk or drive around. It’s a two-minute drive to the shore, and, within a few minutes more, you’ll be in historic downtown Monterey, home to Fisherman’s Wharf, Cannery Row, and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
The home is 2,600 square feet, with 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths, 2 separate gathering areas, a gourmet kitchen, and inviting back yard. California’s central coast is known for great weather, which enables our guests to enjoy the outdoors as much as the indoors. We’ve renovated and landscaped the fenced back yard to include a built-in island barbecue, gas fire pit, and half basketball court. There’s plenty of comfortable seating, both sunny and shaded. A vegetable garden with fresh seasonal herbs is available for you to snip and enjoy.
The home’s interior is spacious, tastefully decorated, and truly elegant, with an open, warm and inviting feel. There are 2 large flat screen Samsung TVs - one in the family room/kitchen and the other in the Master bedroom. We have dish cable, Internet access and a fax machine. Comfortable beds are made with high-quality sheets, bath towels are plush, everything is sparkling clean, and some delicious goodies await your arrival in the fridge.
Get some fresh air and exercise just by walking out the front door. The neighborhood has sidewalks all around and an easy-to-navigate layout, with expansive views of the ocean. There are playgrounds and open spaces.
One of the nicest things about this location is that it’s close to everything, yet quiet and private. If you’re attending one of Monterey’s famous events, your drive “home” will be quick, direct and away from the crowds. The location is ideal.

We had a wonderful stay with the property Seaside Highlands on the Monterey Peninsula. Their home is immaculate, equipped with everything we needed, in a very safe neighborhood and close to the beach. We were able to ride bikes along the beach, and go to the Monterey Bay Aquarium , Point Lobos State Park, National Steinback Center, Carmel Mission and the 17 mile drive in Pebble Beach. Every thing was fifteen minutes or so away from their home. If you want to explore the beautiful Monterey Peninsula this would be a great choice
Lovely house and very attentive service. Not only was the kitchen fully stocked, but Maria also offered to decorate for Christmas. Blocks for kids, great outdoor space and a good bed to bath ratio. With a nice-sized kitchen and amazing grill/outdoor space, group meals are easy. Echo the thanks for the passes to the aquarium - what a treat!
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday at this home. It fit our 3 generations (8 people) really well. Maria left us passes to the aquarium which saved us about $70. House was well stocked with soap, shampoo, lotion, coffee, and much more. The basketball court was a hit with the kids and we played house games as well. Thank you!!
This home is almost sheer perfection! Beautiful and spacious, elegantly furnished with personal touches throughout the home. Maria was very responsive and informative from the time we booked the property to the day of our arrival. I loved the great backyard with it's separate seating areas, basketball court and beautiful outdoor fireplace. The herb garden is a delight!
At check-in we were greeted with a stocked refrigerator, wine, champagne, salami and even play trains for our 4 year old grandson! The spacious kitchen has first rate appliances, two fully stocked pantries and beautiful fresh flowers throughout.
The beds and linen are first rate, the bathrooms fully stocked with plush towels and all the bathroom supplies you will ever need. There are books of all subjects for reading pleasure! I especially appreciated the computer, printer and internet accessibility for sneaking a few minutes of work time.
We felt right at home during one of the most important times of our lives - our daughter's wedding weekend!
We will definitely return!

I rented two homes for our company durning Concours d'Elegance. The process with Maria Francesca was by-far a more superior and informative process!
Great communication from start to finish. Our management team said the home was perfect. She went above and beyond to supply the home with goodies. Unlike the other home I stayed at.
Thanks again for everything. I will certainly keep you in mind for when we are in town next year!
Great house, big, clean, well put together (furniture, bedding, etc.). My only complaint was that there was some old/ expired food in the fridge. Otherwise the place was top notch. Highly recommended.
I think the rest of the reviews do a great job of summing it all up. This was a wonderful house. VERY clean and well maintained. Stocked kitchen and fridge. Beautiful flowers everywhere. Amazing back yard. The master bed was so comfortable that we felt like we were at home in our Tempurpedic. Maria was so sweet and easy to work with. The home is not lacking in anything. We will be back!
There is no end to the sights and activities offered on the Monterey Peninsula, year-round. Visit for an event, for the weather, or just to relax. The side-by-side towns of Monterey, Pacific Grove, Pebble Beach and Carmel offer something for everyone, and each bestows unique panoramic views of ocean and forest.
One of the area’s most popular and engaging sights is the Monterey Bay Aquarium, which gives you extraordinary access to the underwater world of our planet’s oceans. Stand at the bottom of a kelp forest, touch sea creatures, watch sardines circle and otters play. Step outside the Aquarium and you are on Cannery Row, where John Steinbeck drew inspiration for his novel about life in the sardine canning industry. Today, Cannery Row is lined with hotels, shops and restaurants, featuring fun activities for the entire family. From Cannery Row you can walk, jog or rent a surrey bicycle to enjoy the scenic Recreation Trail to Lover’s Point or Fisherman's Wharf. Along the way you will see harbor seals, otters, pelicans and maybe even a whale spout on the dazzling waterfront of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.
Pacific Grove is often referred to as “America's last hometown.” One of its well-traveled destinations is Lover’s Point Park, a best-loved spot for picnics, with a spectacular view of the Monterey Bay. Because of its eastern-facing geography, Lover’s Point is one of the only spots on the West Coast where you can watch the sun rise over the water. Also known for Victorian homes and the annual migration of Monarch butterflies, Pacific Grove is called the “Butterfly Capital of California.” It’s home to the Point Pinos Lighthouse, the oldest continuously operating lighthouse on the West Coast (tours available). Asilomar State Beach offers trails and an accessible boardwalk loop through the Asilomar Dunes Natural Preserve.
Next door to Pacific Grove, Pebble Beach is home to eight championship golf courses and 17 Mile Drive, one of the best-known scenic drives in the world. Miles of hiking and equestrian trails cross the Del Monte Forest.
Carmel-by-the Sea is world-renowned for its European charm, beautiful white-sand and dog-friendly beach, Sunset Center theater performances, art galleries and restaurants. The historic Carmel Mission offers daily tours. Point Lobos State Park is just down Highway 1, offering miles of hiking trails and a rich underwater habitat, often referred to as the “crown jewel” of the State Park system.
