Relaxing stay in a beautiful villa

The Villa is so well decorated & makes you feel so relaxed and away from it all. The location is so central but in a nice quiet area. We would definitely stay here again 👍

Wonderful villa and lovely people

Aline and team were wonderful! From the communication before arriving to any questions or requests during our stay, nothing was too much to ask. And what a gorgeous villa, three great sized bedrooms with ensuites for all. Pool was beautiful and I loved the lights around the garden, so beautiful at night. Location was great, close to everything and easy walk to the beach. Once in the villa it was super quiet and the view onto the rice paddy was lovely. We came with our teenage sons, so great for a family but 3 couples could comfortably stay as well. Thanks Aline, Wayan, Made and Tedy, we had a great time.

We booked this villa for its location, decor, pool and breakfast inclusion for our family. While the pool was lovely and the location was convenient there was a distinct lack of upkeep and a sense the owners are not prepared to spend the money required to make a stay at this villa worth the high price we paid. The bathrooms are extremely tired, the beds are hard as boards/ we had to pull the mattresses off the outdoor couches and put them on our bed to sleep. The curtains are old and stained, the decor is old. The staff did everything they could to try to help but appeared untrained particularly in regard to our breakfast. We excitedly asked for nasi goreng our first morning and it was fried gluggy white rice with a few tomatoes, no flavour and so disappointing that we ordered avocado toast the other days which was cold each morning. We acknowledge the quite unfriendly (unusual for a Balinese person-we are very fond of the friendliness of Balinese people) chef was trying hard. The in villa treatments were great. I would not stay here again and feel it was not good value for money.

Great Coffee and lots of creatures

The location was great and not so great, near lots of shops and restaurants. There is a great coffee place outside the villa which we enjoyed on almost daily basis. The not so great part of location, right next rice paddy where lizards, dragonfly's, and mosquitoes originated. The house is not well sealed, our bedrooms had all the creatures invading us, and mosquito netting does not help. Also, pool picture is optical illusion. The pool and place is not as big as depicted. I would not be returning to this villa for another stay. The workers at his villa were helpful and great to wprk with buy they could not get rid of the lizards, flies, and mosquitoes due to rice paddy next door. And this is not even the rainy season. But the internet/wifi was great. I could do my work while getting bitten by the mosquitoes.

Thank you for your kind review Habib. Even though we do regularly fogging (trying not to use too much chemicals), the villa is in a quiet area surrounded by rice paddies, which means that some geckos may visit the villa :) For the mosquitoes, in addition to regular fogging, we provide anti mosquitoes gel anti insects plugs in every bedroom. We are happy that all in once you have enjoyed your stay :)

A Mixed Bag: A Review from 6 Friends

During our recent stay at the villa, we enjoyed some positives but faced several negatives. We were charmed by the cute lizards and appreciated the villa's layout for our group, particularly the outdoor area and pool. The location was convenient for laundry and dining, and we liked the in-villa massage services.However, our experience was marred by issues. The house wasn’t ready when we arrived, the main door felt insecure, and we encountered electrical problems. Communication with the host and housemaid was frustrating as our messages went unanswered for weeks. The airport transfer we arranged only accommodated three people, forcing us to make last-minute changes. We also dealt with a lack of clean towels, slow responses to requests for essentials, and a pool that was smaller and dirtier than advertised.Cleanliness was a major concern, especially in the bathrooms, which had mold and ventilation issues, along with a clogged shower in room 2. The outdoor kitchen attracted pests, and we received dirty sponges for cleaning. Overall, while there were enjoyable aspects, the numerous inconveniences and cleanliness issues detracted significantly from our experience.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write us a review. We apologize for the misunderstanding, we had problems with our staff (that we have replaced since then). We also made big maintenance work and deep cleaning with special machines beginning of September (this year 2025). Thank you for your helpful remarks that we have prioritized in our decisions

Maintenance is required if you are to ask these prices for this accomodation. Everything is tired and in need of replacing or updating. The place is a health hazard, the bathrooms are disgusting 2 out of 3 of the showers did not work, the lovely staff got one of them working for us along with the waste drain in the shower which was a cesspool of previous tenants hair and soooo ick!!!, the bathrooms were unsanitary and not cleaned once in our 10-day duration. We did not use the kitchen as it was filthy and there wasn't anything to clean with. The soft furnishings are stained and dirty, the dream-catcher is so filthy I think it only holds nightmares. There were cigarette butts in ashtrays - none of us smoke. The pool waterline is black. There were animal droppings everywhere, cupboards coming off hinges, filthy towels on floors and benches. The beds are like concrete, extremely uncomfortable.This is not about the staff, he was lovely but clearly ill-equipped. This is about the people who manage the property, she is not doing her job, the staff can only work with what they have and that is a tired, rundown, sad excuse for a villa - I would suggest spending some of the taken from your guests and refreshing this property and giving it a deep clean. The reality of it doesn't come close to the pictures on your booking site. Luckily the location is excellent so we just went out but we will never be back.
The luxurious shower, note no grout in any of the tiles - just filth.
Hand basin, broken plug and the waste leaked straight onto the bathroom floor.
Mouldy kitchen bench with an ecoli sample towel covering it...hungry anyone?

Haven of tranquility

Cocowhite Villa is centrally located, within walking distance or a short taxi journey of the restaurants, boutiques and beach clubs of Seminyak. Great layout around a central pool, with two living areas, a dining area and 3 bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms. There is an organised airport pick-up included in the price (drop-off is additional cost of IDR250,000). Breakfast cooked every day by housekeeper (choice of Indonesian or continental) is very good. Very quiet neighbourhood.Communication with host is very good.

Great place for our extended family

Communication with management and the staff at the villa were excellent and reliable. The villa was perfect for our family of four plus grandparents. It was the first of three places we stayed in Bali and was a favourite.

Beautiful villa, great location, wonderful people

This property was beautiful and perfect for our party of 5. It is conveniently located near the restaurants, shopping, and a short walk to the beach. Aline, the property manager, was extremely responsive to all of my last minute requests for transportation, massage bookings, etc. Home-cooked Indo breakfast was a wonderful touch and very much enjoyed by our group. Thank you for making our first trip to Bali a memorable one!

Magnifique villa, localisation parfaite

Une villa à couper le souffle! Design splendide, piscine énorme, lits confortables, petits déjeuners délicieux. Localisation idéale (2 min à pieds de tous les restaurants) et 15 min à pieds de la plage. Et malgré tout, entourée de champs de riz et très calme. Une vraie oasis où nous retournerons l’annee Prochaine! Nous venons chaque année à Bali depuis 6 ans et c’est de loin la meilleure villa dans laquelle nous avons séjourné!

It's just as the photo and description says it is.

The villa is in the perfect spot, close to everything. Wayan and her helper were fabulous and their breakfast were delicious.

Un vrai coin de paradis, au centre de Seminyak!

2 semaines ici!Villa sublime, piscine immense et décor magique... vue sur rizière, et coucher de soleil le soir, ambiance féérique tout en étant et au calme et proche de tout! Un staff en or qui m'a aidé alors que Virgin avait perdu ma valise. Endroit de rêve, emplacement parfait, à coté de la plage et des meilleurs resto et bars. Petit déj extra, cuisiné avec des aliments frais chaque matin par Wayan, un bijou! Merci au staff pour tous leurs sourires, on attend avec impatience de revenir l'année prochaine!!! Parfait!!!!

A calm oasis amidst the busy Seminyak bustle

What a beautiful place to stay in Seminyak.The Villa is clean and spacious,Wayan the maid was lovely and accommodating to our needs.As the Villa is central to everything it was easy to get around.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this Villa to anyone wanting to be in a quiet place yet near to everything.The Villa was safe,the staff friendly and it felt like home for the duration of our holiday.Thankyou!!

Breathtaking villa!

I spend one week with my family at the Cocowhite villa to discover Bali. And what an amazing experience!! The staff very kind, the localisation simply perfect, closed to all the restaurants, shopping and beach! We trusted Teddy as guide and driver (recommended by the owners) to have some tours and activities around Bali and it was the best tours I never had! We really appreciated all the advises given by Aline and the comfort and quiet offered by the villa. We arrived late in the evening and the villa was just breathtaking! And the kind maid Wayan welcoming us with refreshments and smile offered the best impression that we actually kept until the end of our stay. Thank you everyone, we came back with so many wonderful pictures and unforgettable memories..

Dream villa

The villa is perfectly located, only a few meters away from all restaurants and shops. We really loved to stay at the villa, as the pool was very big, the bedrooms spacious and comfy and all the villa is open, which brings a real amazing atmosphere. Besides, Wayan was at the villa every morning to prepare us yummy breakfasts and Aline was very helpful and advised us the best place to visit in Bali. We will surely come back, thank you so much! Dream villa made our holidays a dream!

Unbelievable villa!

This villa is a real gem in Seminyak Center! The place is breathtaking with the beautiful rice field and the pool so big! We spend all our afternoon playing in the pool and enjoying the sun! Wayan's breakfasts were delicious ( try her banana pancakes!) and the beach at walking distance from the villa! We went out at la favela and it was only 2 min walking! The most amazing thing is that the villa is so beautiful and quiet but very closed to everything! Thank you so much we just spent dream holidays and will surely come back to the villa again!

Wonderful Villa!

We spent a wonderful stay with all our family in this beautiful villa! The design and light were amazing, very quiet with rice fields surrounded the villa and the huge pool! The villa is perfectly located, closed to restaurants and the beach. We will definitely come back soon!
