About Janet and Keith Middleton
Keith and Janet Middleton live in the nearby village of Porlock. Keith has lived in Porlock all his life and is often to be spotted in the area in his driving school car. Janet moved to the area 20 years ago and owns two businesses in Porlock - a café in the village and a gallery with café in Porlock Weir.
Janet and Keith Middleton purchased this Cottage in 2015
Why Janet and Keith Middleton chose Dunster
Although the cottage was in need of a substantial makeover when we purchased it, its potential was immediately apparent. We have made some quite major changes to it, but have always tried to maintain its very special character and charm.

A beautiful cottage
Our second stay in this beautiful, well equipped cottage. It's situated in the middle of a lovely village. The location is excellent for visiting the surrounding area. Thank for lovely welcome pack.
Lovely well equipped cottage , walking distance to Dunster centre, cake , flowers, milk left for us even though we were only staying 3 nights. Only issue might be with the parking, but we never used our car and were able to park outside the cottage. Certainly will be back for a longer stay next time
Lovely cottage, great location, perfect for our weekend
Beautifully presented cottage - it has a traditional feel but the benefit of modern amenities. Great location, easy walking distance to village centre and multitude of restaurants and bars, and easy driving distance to Minehead. Extra little touches little yummy cake, flowers and tea/coffee/milk, bread and butter on arrival made all the difference. Thank-you for a lovely stay in your beautiful cottage - highly recommend this charming cottage.

Perfect cottage in wonderful Dunster
Second visit to this lovely comfortable cottage. Perfect for a winter break.
Owners add welcome touches to make it very special. Welcome pack including home made cake and fresh flowers.
Dunster is a very special place in a wonderful landscape.
A beautiful cottage in a lovely part of the world.
We had three nights at the cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's very cosy - especially the beds - and tastefully furnished. The owners left flowers and a delicious lemon cake on our arrival - which was a lovely touch - as well as a small grocery starter pack.
Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they were easily contactable and quick to respond. Dunster is a delightful village, and we had a great day at the castle and mill, and another walking on Exmoor where we saw the famous wild ponies.
We'll definitely be going back to Dunster, and I'd have no hesitation in staying at this cottage again or recommending it to others.
