Katie thank you for staying hope you return in the future.
Location was in a small quiet neighborhood right outside of downtown Harper's ferry. Was very clean and host was extremely responsive to our questions. Would absolutely go again!

Sean and his guest were amazing and very respectful, the house was left just as I left it. Would love to have him back.
Desiree’s place was very comfortable for our group of five which included 2 children. Downtown Harper’s Ferry is a short drive as are the national park visitor’s center and many hikes/outdoor activities. We would definitely stay again.

The property was beautiful and the house was exactly as described. The house is within walking distance of all the attractions making it a perfect option!!
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Desiree’s home. The house is clean and comfortable. It is also walking distance to town. Desiree checked in a few times and even had a bottle of sangria for us. I definitely would recommend staying here.

My family and I stayed here for a long weekend. The house was exactly what we were looking for. Clean, great location, and the perfect number of beds and baths. The house is only a few minutes from town and only about five minutes from gas and Walmart. The house was super clean, and Desiree was so easy to communicate with anytime we had questions. Would definitely stay here again the next time I come to Harpers Ferry.
Very nice property. We were able to visit and play games. Centrally located and easy to get to. Long walk to downtown, but it was doable.
We had a great time.

Harper's Ferry was a meeting place for our family. Cute little town with lots of history. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. We cooked meals at the house and also enjoyed some of the local restaurants (Anvil was our favorite). We enjoyed overlooking the fall colors each morning.
We were in town for a wedding nearby & needed a homebase. Desiree‘s townhome was a perfect spot and a wonderful location. We enjoyed the morning sitting out on the deck taking in the view, spent Saturday hiking nearby on the gorgeous trails and Sunday meander through Harpers Ferry and had a wonderful meal at Hamilton Tavern! The house is a perfect location and we will definitely be coming back! Thanks Desiree for you hospitality!!

My family and I stayed at this lovely house for a belated Mother's Day celebration for the weekend. The deck has a beautiful view, and we had plenty of space. The house had everything we needed. Best of all, Harper's Ferry was a 15-20 minute walk away.

Thank you again for coming!! Hope to have you again.
We really enjoyed our stay here! Awesome view from the balconies. Very clean home. Only about 10 minutes walk to some restaurants and one edge of the river (where you can start some hikes). It was further to Harpers Ferry itself, but we walked it a few times. Great WiFi. If you're in the area, don't hesitate to stay here.

Thank you, Desiree
Desiree was a wonderful and engaging host. The house was located conveniently near the hiking trails. All the essentials were available to us in the house.
This was my first time renting through VRBO and it was perfect. The house was super clean and the set up worked great for our group-6 adults. Plenty of space for everyone. Desiree was a phenomenal host. If we needed anything, she was reachable. Great location. 1.2 mile walk to historic Harpers Ferry. Highly recommend!

Tammy thanks for the great review hope to see you again.
Desiree's property was the perfect home base for our weekend in Harper's Ferry. Plenty of room for two families to spread out. We made breakfast each morning and dinner one evening and the well stocked kitchen made super easy. The location is really convenient to Harper's Ferry and we even ventured into town on foot one evening and was within a 10 minute car ride to other attractions. Grocery stores were close by as well in case you needed anything. Overall we had a great time and would not hesitate to book again!

Arnold and his family were the perfect guess to have. Left the house in great shape and was able to meet both families very pleasant and would definitely have them back again. Thank you!!
We loved that there were 4 bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. It was a bit of a walk to town for 4 ladies in their 60s, so we ended up driving. Found parking on a Thursday evening but Saturday was definitely “tourist” day. We really enjoyed the barn (short walk) and the Scottish festival in a town nearby. Loved that the owner was so involved in the community!! Thanks Desiree!!
My grown siblings and I planned a mini reunion fishing trip over Labor Day weekend. The place was perfect!
Each of us had our own bedroom and bath. The beds are very comfortable, the place is well appointed and the layout of the home allows for space to gather.
And the views are spectacular. And so close to town and everything.
The host could not have been nicer and provided so many great suggestions for restaurants and local points of interest of which there are many.
We fished the Potomac and the Shenandoah Rivers - great fishing. Great experience and beautiful scenery.
This was the perfect place to come back to and relax.
Be advised that someone does live in this house & their stuff is everywhere! Including their robes in the bathroom & leftovers in the refrigerator. No top sheets on the beds, just small quilts or throws. The oven was filthy! I felt the need to wash everything before using.

Hi Linda it states that the house is occupied. The robes were washed and ready for guess to use. There has never been left overs in the refrigerator EVER. I leave condiments for the guess to use so they don't have to go buy things. Such as ketchup mayonnaise dressings etc. The stove I do apologize for the cleaning lady forgot to wipe it out. The top sheet she don't use during summers since it hot and everything gets washed after each use. .Sorry you thought it was filthy.
The property had more than enough space for our family of 5. It was in a great neighborhood, which was located very conveniently to the various trails of the National Park (5mins drive) and the wineries of Virginia (15mins drive). There were a handful of cute restaurants/cafes within walking distance. If you're in great shape (and its not a heatwave), the historic town of Harper's Ferry and all its shops and restaurants are about a mile away.
The property is as described. Host is very responsive. For awareness, the home appears to be lived in fulltime when not rented out; mentioning in case that's a dealbreaker for folks.

Convenient to trails and historic Harpers Ferry (~ 1.1mi)
Nice stay at this townhome. It’s was close to where we wanted to be. Good for a weekend getaway so we can check out the historic Harpers Ferry area and do some hiking on the nearby trails. The kitchen was stocked with the cups, plates, utensils water kettle, keurig machine…all that we needed. The 2 parking spaces in front of the house were convenient, and the view from the windows was beautiful. I wish one of the rooms had two twin beds for the kids, but otherwise the house was what we needed. Thanks!
four friends and I stayed in Desiree’s house and it helped to make our Harper’s Ferry weekend one to remember. Her communication was stellar and the house fit our needs very well. Thank you for the stay!
