fabulous, fabulous-the cottage was beautiful, great layout, right on the water with a fabulous view. the cottage was clean and had everything that we needed. the air conditioner and heat worked great. Our host Marian was fantastic. We had such a great time that we are rebooking for next year.

Two wonderful weeks relaxing in this cozy cottage overlooking Sebago Lake! Whether sitting on the sunny porch or in rocking chairs by the water, this is my favorite early fall vacation spot! Bring on the lobster!

Absolutely beautiful. Great communication with host and Marion was so nice and accommodating. House was so clean and so well maintained along with the property. Just beautiful and peaceful. Private beach and dock was perfect. View was amazing. She obviously takes great pride in her property. Made us a pie and had ice cream in freezer when we arrived. Was very nice talking with her. House has everything you would need. Easy check in and there were notes on how to work everything which was so helpful. Had an amazing week there. It was perfect and just beautiful there. We went end of August 2025 into 1st week of September. Water was nice and warm still for swimming. My daughter did some fishing from the dock and had a blast. This place was so great really can't say enough good things about it. Couldn't get the grill to light and called her and she had someone on it within minutes. Unreal response 10 stars. She really wants you to have a great stay and enjoy your vacation. If you get a chance to rent this place take it and you will love it. So close to everything as well for shopping and going out to eat and all the stores. We had a great week here. Yard and flowers we so beautiful as well. Great vacation and thank you so much for sharing it with us. Hope to return again.

This is a great property. If you are looking for a great location with a view ,that has its own private cove with a sandy beach this is your place. The Property is well maintained and has fine gardens surrounding the property. If you are looking for peace and quite this might be your best bet.

Spectacular Property

We have been renting at the Lakes for 10 years and this property was by far the best that we've stayed at. Cottage is small but comfortable. Perfect for quality closeness with the family. The yard, private beach and dock are nothing short of spectacular! Hostess is wonderful and really cares about guest experience. Will go back for sure.

Vacation in Paradise

Each year as we return to this exceptional spot on Sebago Lake it feels like coming home. The cottage is comfortable, cozy, clean, and fully equipped for a family vacation right on the lake, in a quiet neighborhood. This year we enjoyed visits to Ogunquit Playhouse and the Portland Symphony, as well as several libster feasts. Love our host, who is so welcoming!

My daughter, son-in-law and grandkids stayed at the cabin and had the "best vacation ever"! Beautiful property and accommodations. Beach, large yard, dock and mooring. Who could ask for more!

A private paradise

Our family had such an amazing time staying at this cabin! Check-in was incredibly easy, and Marian was extremely friendly and welcoming. She even left us a delicious treat—ice cream and pie waiting for us in the fridge! She was always available if we needed anything but gave us all the privacy we could ask for. The cabin itself was perfect—clean, cozy, and full of charm. We loved the beautiful wood paneling throughout; it really added to the rustic feel of the place. But what made our stay truly special was the location. The grounds were absolutely huge! We pulled into a private driveway, and from there, we had this vast green lawn leading all the way to the water. And, the cabin, itself, was only a few feet to the lake. One part of the property had comfortable lawn chairs set up on the grass in front of the water—an ideal spot to relax and take in the expansive view of the lake. If you walked a little to the right, there was a private beach where you could gradually walk into the water—no need to jump off a dock. It was the best of both worlds: a quiet, private beach and plenty of green space to relax on the lawn while overlooking the lake. The whole property felt so private and peaceful, surrounded by trees that made it feel like we were staying on celebrity-style grounds. We had plenty of space to walk, explore, and just soak in the beauty of the surroundings. Everything was spotless, and we had no issues at all during our stay. We can’t wait to return next year!

Family getaway

We really enjoyed our time on Sebago Lake at this house. It was very cute and was in a nice and quiet area. We had a boat with us and the boat launch was literally right around the corner. It worked out perfectly. The house was very well kept and clean. Marion is very nice and was right there if we needed anything.

An Excellent Property in Maine

This is our eleventh year of returning to this special property. This immaculate cottage sits on lake front which provides you with a private beach, a dock and a large yard surrounded by flower gardens. This setting provides for peace and quite while being close to town services and shopping. Its an ideal place for young and old. Upon arrival you might just find a home made pie, along with ice cream in the refrigerator to begin your stay.

A great family vacation

We loved the property. I'm a native Mainer who lives away now, and I've been to a number of camps around Sebago. This rental, especially the beach, yard, and dock, are as clean and beautiful as they come. Marian is a lovely host who is easy to communicate with and let us enjoy our stay with friends and family. Highly recommend.

A Gem...

This was our second stay at Marian's lakeside cottage. She is the consummate hostess. The cottage is beautiful... inside and out. She has anticipated every need of her guests and provides many personal delightful touches that bring much pleasure to her guests! We are grateful for her willingness to share this gem with others and have come to appreciate her compassionate friendship greatly! We look forward to another future visit!

Paradise on Sebago Lake

This precious, comfortable cabin is the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation. Marian is an amazing hostess, welcoming us home each year with a home baked pie and ice cream. This year she went above and beyond, as we arrived a day before a hurricane. She had removed the lawn chairs by the lake for safety, but she had them back in their welcoming spot early in the morning after the hurricane. This is our home away from home! See you next year!

A beautiful place in Maine

If you are looking for a beautiful spot to vacation at in Maine, this is it. The cottage is spotless with a large porch overlooking attractive gardens and has a peaceful view of the lake. We have been coming here for years with our grandchildren who still enjoy swimming, fishing, and sleeping in the loft. If you are lucky there will be a freshly made pie and ice cream awaiting you. Enjoy your stay.

Beautiful place with a wonderful hostess

We loved staying in this cozy, 2 bedroom cottage. It had everything we could possibly ever need for our trip to southern Maine. The location was close to everything we wanted to do. The hostess was so kind and accommodating and even baked us delicious muffins during our stay! We would highly recommend staying here!

Stay at our 5-star cottage and enjoy Maple Sunday, Naples Blues Festivals, car shows, uncrowded golf courses, fishing, boating, sports, fine dining, recreation, fun and relaxing amid the beautiful surroundings.

We take great pride in our cottage and keep it in immaculate shape and clean. Another one of our goals is to supply guest renters with an experience greater than what they expected.

The cottage is located on an acre of land with lots of flowers and a grassy lawn. There's a sandy beach and a deep-water dock for a boat.

We bought this property because it borders our next door home. Waterfront properties such as this don't come on the market frequently. Plus it has a beautiful view and is a level acre of land.

We consider this location on Big Sebago Lake as 'Paradise', which is why our home is located next door.
Please read the many reviews by guests who have stayed at the cottage.
Due to our guests' allergies we do not allow pets or smoking in the cottage or on the property grounds. Marian and I personally clean the cottage, and groom the flower beds to make things as tidy and attractive as possible. The lawn is mowed by a service company usually on a weekly basis or as needed. The neighborhood is very quiet therefore only a maximum of 6 people are allowed on the property or in the cottage at any time.

We invite you to enjoy some of the spring events that celebrate life, great food, nature, art, festivals, fun, and relaxation.Our cottage is located on Sebago Lake, the seventh cleanest lake in the world, and the home of land-locked salmon, The cottage is conveniently located forty minutes from Portland, a city with fabulous restaurants and opportunities to take whale watching and island tours. We are also within driving distance to Boston, New Hampshire, Boothbay, Kennebunkport, L.L. Bean, and several outlet malls. Just like the spring bulbs burst into color, spring brings color to Maine. The possibilities are endless:

Hike, bike and enjoy the outdoors.
Visit Maine's famous Botanical Gardens.
Kennebunkport Festival.
Old Port Festival.
Boating and fishing.
