Absolutely perfect!

We loved our stay here. Márcia was very responsive and helpful. Everything we could need was provided. Beds were comfortable. View was incredible. Plenty of space for our family of five.

Perfect vacation spot

This was our second time visiting Sao Miguel. This apartment was our best location. The view is beautiful. It is very modern inside and large comfortable area to relax. The Balcony is roomy and furnished. We sat every day just watching the ocean views. The host is available for any needs. We would stay here again, we loved it.

Lovely place with a great view.

Very nice clean spacious apartment with a great view. Marcia greeted us when we arrived, showed us her place and directions to the local supermarket. Lots of helpful literature about where to hike and where to find the thermal baths. Good central location. Lots of hot water and strong internet. Easy parking in front. Some local restaurants were closed during our stay Oct 5-11 due to post summer season. We noted that American coffee is not the local custom so one of us switched to espresso in a demitasse cup in the am, and the other put the espresso in a mug and added hot milk. Would happily go back.

Very comfortable and great location

The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay, Marcia welcomed us with a lovely basket of local bread, fruit and a sample of the amazing ham and cheese. Location was great! Highly recommend and would definitely come back to stay!

Roomy and comfortable apartment

Large, well appointed, clean, modern apartment was a wonderful home base for us (three adults). Marcia is a lovely hostess and we appreciated the welcome basket of local treats - enough to keep us going for days! She also helped us out during a hiccup prior to our departure - many thanks. The rooms are large and airy and the bathrooms are small, but perfectly formed! Plenty of bedding and towels. The bedrooms are located at the back of the apartment and are quiet. The kitchen is very well equipped and we had everything we needed for our two week stay. The balcony is perfect for sitting and watching the sea and sunsets. The apartment has a washing machine and drying rack. A fan and hairdryer are also included. Wifi is strong and reliable and there are many stations available on the TV. The local swimming pool/beach is at the bottom of the hill and we went there often - you can rent chairs and parasols, if needed. We ate at the two restaurants close by at the waterfront and enjoyed both. We had a senior adult with us so we drove most places, but walking to town would not be a problem. You would probably want a car to go out to the various island attractions and these can be visited in a single day as most are easy to reach from Ribeira Grande. Parking at the apartment is in front of the building and is plentiful. The apartment is accessible by stairs and elevator. The apartment exceeded our expectations in every way.

Marcia's appartment was wonderful

We had a wonderful time in Márcia's appartment. The appartment is really big and very nicely furnished. Márcia is a very friendly, helpful host. On our arrival she explained everything we wanted to know while our two sons enjoyed the basket with local food she had provided for us. We would choose this appartment again if we spent time in the Azores. Thanks again, Márcia.

Great location

We stayed here for three nights with our 7 year old son- Plenty of room. The view from the deck is amazing, perfect for watching the sunset each night with a glass of wine. Be warned if you are staying in the master bedroom each time someone opens the garage door you will hear it! When we arrived there was a basket of local foods - which was so nice because we had just flown a long flight and were famished. Such a nice treat!! Thank you! You can walk to the grocery store about a half mile away, as well as restaurants and shops. There isn’t much in the little town, but enough explore. There is a pool and beach just down the steps. It wasn’t warm enough for us to use but would be perfect on a sunny day. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay on the island.

Quiet well equipped apartment with ocean view

We really enjoyed our stay in Marcia’s apartment. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels and a beautiful view if the sunset each evening. We always felt safe and secure in the apartment. We rented a car for a few days and the was easy parking out front. We wouldn’t hesitate to rebook this place again.

Schönes, großes Apartement mit Meeresblick

Das Apartment war sehr groß und weiträumig. Es gab zwei Bäder, Spül- und Waschmaschine. Auch die Einrichtung hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Marcia war unglaublich nett und hat uns gut Tipps gegeben. Wir waren drei Nächte in Ribeira Grande und haben es sehr genossen.

Groß sehr sauber sehr freundliche Gastgeberin

Ribeira Grande selbst ist nicht sonderlich hübsch. Die Wohnung liegt jedoch perfekt um sämtliche Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erkunden. Der Surfstrand ist in laufreichweite!

Great apartment!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is plenty big and has a great view of the coast. It's an easy drive from he airport, and the central location makes it easy to get places. The property owner is very responsive to questions and eager to make sure you enjoy your stay. There's even a washing machine that we didn't try, but I could see being useful for a longer stay, or if we packed lighter. Overall, I would definitely recommend this rental.
