Everything in perfect shape. The kitchen includes everything one needs during a holiday. And we much appreciated that the maid popped in for fresh bed linen & towels and cleaning.

Perfect place for discovering Azores

We were pleasantly surprised that this place looked better than the pictures. Amazing views from the livingroom sofa. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of hot water, clean. The location was perfect as a base for exploring the island. The town was small and not at all touristy. Owners communicated well in English and promptly.

Excellent View

Place is wonderful and very clean. Views from the living room and upstairs porch are amazing. I miss the ocean already. Excellent location for hiking all over the island then return and enjoy the view and the sound of the ocean.

Location, location!

We found this little gem on the sea. The location is fantastic, right in front of the sea, in the middle of town. Herminio was great to work with right from the time we booked, till leaving. He provided much information about the island, car rental info, suggestions on sights to see.Entry to apt was easy. Very clean, and very well equipped with everything needed. Would definitely come again and stay. Hopefully in a little less rainy period so we could make use of upper patio.

Perfect home with a stunning view

The property was perfect for our family of 3 with every convenience needed, a smart layout, and ocean views on all levels, with a stunning outlook from the main living room and including a rooftop deck. The property is close to a number of restaurants and the town center. Herminio was a responsive host and dropped by to say a friendly hello. Highly recommended!

Beautiful property in perfect location

This property is stunning! Very clean with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Well stocked kitchen, beautiful view and roof terrace. Herminio is very easy to contact and very helpful if there are queries. The air conditioning was most welcome in August. I would stay here again if I were to visit Vila Franca do Campo again in the future.

We had a great week here. The apartment was everything we could have wanted. Good location, very clean. We loved being right by the ocean. It was walking distance to restaurants, shopping, etc. Hermínio was an excellent host. It was wonderful!

This apartment is bright, pristine, modern and convenient for walking to two grocery stores, the farmer's market, whale and dolphin tours and several restaurants, including our favorite, "The Praia Cafe". The incredible view and privacy windows were greatly appreciated. If you plan to cook I suggest you bring along salt, pepper and any seasonings you use.

Fantastic View, fantastic holiday apartment

Everything was just right. The apartment was clean and very well furnished. Our host was very nice and helpful. The communication was exemplary. The highlight of the apartment is certainly the roof terrace with barbecue and the unobstructed view of the sea, which can also be enjoyed from the living room. The apartment is strategically located in the middle of the south coast. All important destinations can be reached quickly. Absolute recommendation we would love to come back.

Comfortable apartment with Stunning views

The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the views are stunning. The large glass doors open easily from the 2nd-floor living room/kitchen so you can hear the waves as you eat breakfast. The outdoor patio on the third floor also has a great view (though in early March the weather was a little chilly for us to use it.) Indoors on the third floor, there is also a small writing desk with a nice view. The kitchen was well-stocked with equipment and dishes. Bring your own shampoo. Communication was quick and easy. We had a lovely stay and I highly recommend.

Wonderful modern apartment in great location

We stayed here for a week in early March and were very pleased with this apartment. The location was perfect for several reasons: the lovely ocean view from the patio on the top floor, easy walking distance to several local restaurants and a wonderful bakery, and also because this is a good central and quiet location from which to explore in all directions of the island without suffering through the hubbub of a large town like Ponta Delgada. The apartment had all the mod cons, including kitchen equipment although we only cooked one dinner in. The wifi was fast, the hot water plentiful, on-street parking was available, and Herminio was always available if we had questions. The beds were quite comfortable although the bottom sheets may be a little small because they came loose and had to be remade every morning (this was the only annoyance of our entire stay). Having a good washing machine available was a very welcome amenity, and an excellent drying rack. Can't speak to the air conditioning as it was still chilly, but the heat worked just fine when we needed it. All in all, we recommend this place highly and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Mooi, modern en schoon appartement met fantastisch uitzicht.

Mooi, modern en schoon appartement met fantastisch uitzicht op de oceaan vanaf terras en woonkamer. In het appartement is alles aanwezig. Prima bedden. Na een week wordt het appartement schoongemaakt en bad/bed linnen verschoond. Host was zelf ook op vakantie tijdens ons verblijf, maar was wel bereikbaar en contact vooraf was prima. Gratis parkeren in de straatjes rond het appartement is geen probleem. Dichtbij het vliegveld en alles waar je heen wilt is binnen een uur rijden. Absolute aanrader.

Wunderschönes Haus am Meer

Wunderschön gelegenes Häuschen mit einenr umwerfenden Sicht auf das Meer - die Kommunikation mit Hermino war perfekt, jedes unserer kleinen Anliegen wurde prompt erledigt. Besonders angenehm war auch die 1x pro Woche stattfindende vollständige Reinigung der Wohnung. Vila Franca do Campo ist ein wunderschönes Städtchen, Restaurants und kleine Supermärkte in Laufnähe, ein großer Pingo Doce 3min mit dem Auto am Ortseingang. VFdC liegt ideal für Inselausflüge - alle Ziele sind maximal 30-40 Minuten entfernt.

Das Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die zentrale Lage auf der Insel, der Ort selbst und das Haus direkt am Meer. Alles perfekt für einen tollen Urlaub. Die Bilder werden dem fantastischen Ausblick von der Terrasse oder dem Panoramafenster nicht gerecht. Es ist in Wirklichkeit noch viel schöner und beeindruckender.

Ich habe den Aufenthalt in dem Apartment sehr genossen, die Lage und der Meerblick sind fantastisch. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und super ausgestattet. Lediglich die Dusche könnte einer Grundreinigung unterzogen werden, da sich dort in den Abdichtungen und Ecken etwas Schimmel gebildet hat.

Perfect location great property

Apart from parking not always ideal as no parking directly by house everything was excellent. The property had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Hermione was always available when needed. The property was just as the pictures showed. The village and it's amenities are all within easy walking distance including the harbour area for sea trips and eating out. The second floor with its Juliet balcony and double opening doors and the rooftop terrace overlooking the sea made it perfect when relaxing .

Traumhafter Blick aufs Meer

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dem Ferienhaus sehr genossen. Von alle Zimmern hat man einen Blick aus Meer. Fußläufig können einige gute Restaurants erreicht werden. Brötchen holen im Supermarkt zu Fuß war auch kein Problem. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und wir freuten uns über die Nespresso Kaffeemaschine. Auch bei schlechtem Wetter ist die Unterkunft zu empfehlen, weil man vom Wohnbereich wunderbar den Blick aufs Meer genießen kann. Auf der schönen Terrasse im obersten Stock hätte ich mir einen Liegestuhl gewünscht. Sofadecke und Sofakissen wären ebenfalls nett gewesen. Aber das ist jammern auf hohen Niveau. Schade, dass die Schlafzimmer direkt an der Straße liegen. So kann man nicht mit gekippten Fenster schlafen und das Meeresrauschen hören. Heizung und Klimaanlage ist vorhanden. Nur die Lüftung km Fensterfreien Badezimmer könnte besser sein. Mit einem Mietwagen kann man von hier wunderbar die Insel erkunden und das Auto direkt vor der Unterkunft auf der Straße parken.
