This was a great option for our family baseball trip to Cooperstown. Conveniently located near all the baseball attractions. Host was extremely accommodating and communication was great. We had a great time and would recommend this property!

The house is wonderful and definitely historic. Location is excellent. My only recommendations would be to minimize the number of decor on table tops to allow for guest to have a place to set their things. Additionally, some power strips upstairs, where there are minimal outlets would be very helpful.

Great location

This property is located very close to Dreams Park, it was a great place for my family, four spacious bedrooms, lots of outdoor space to enjoy the wildlife, Mountain View could be better if shrubs were trimmed down in front of the house. We really enjoyed our stay in Cooperstown !!

I booked this home for our week at Cooperstown Dreams Park that sounded like the ideal home. It’s very convenient to the park. I understand that this is an older home with a lot of charm however, there are some important things to note about the house that are not mentioned in the description or previous reviews. While I feel bad about having to post negative comments, it’s important to note these things prior to booking this home. My first impression upon entering the house was the noticeable mildew smell in the kitchen. The very pungent odor from the sulfuric water is hard to get used to. The upstairs of the home is slanting inwards. It didn’t provide for the most safe feeling.There are only a few rooms with tv’s and while they are “smart tv’s”, they are older and have slow processing and poor backlighting. While the rooms have window unit A/C and fans, they create a lot of noise. The front two rooms facing the road will have more road noise and get bright early because they face the sunrise. We enjoyed hanging out in the downstairs family room. However, we got rained out one day and it was very cold inside. I noticed that there was a lock over the thermostat so there was no heat. I tried messaging the manager but never heard back. Overall, the experience was not as good as expected.

Our home is a historic Catskills farmhouse, and prior to each stay we provide guests with a welcome letter explaining its unique features, including the use of well water, which can occasionally have a natural sulfur odor, as well as the possibility of cool mountain evenings. The home’s heating system remains operational during the summer and is set to turn on automatically if the temperature falls below 64°F. We responded promptly to your questions during your stay. Your inquiry regarding the thermostat was received the evening before your departure, leaving little opportunity to address it before checkout. We encourage future guests to read our many five-star reviews, which reflect the experiences of the many families who have enjoyed staying in our home.

Cooperstown dreams park tourney

Perfect location for a tournament at Dreams Park. It’s minutes away and coming from opposite direction of most the traffic. Convenient to restaurants and downtown. As others have said, there’s a lot of furnishings and knickknacks, but it’s all in good taste and clean and adds to the character of the farmhouse! Would recommend!

Very nice, clean, roomy, and inviting home located a little over a mile from Dreamspark. Everything you need for a comfortable stay during your visit to Coooerstown area. Great outdoor dining area. Would definitely recommend!

Appreciate your time to share your review. Please note that the home was built in the 1800's and we choose to provide lighting throughout the home with lamps, wall sconces and ceiling fixtures to keep in style with the home, in lieu of recessed ceiling lighting you may find in post modern homes of today. But please note that every room offers light switches to control the lighting as you enter each room.

Beautiful Farmhouse on the Hill

Beautifully decorated & clean farmhouse that included every amenity you would ever need. The location was ideal to get to The Allstar Baseball Village as well as Cooperstown. Thank you for sharing your lovely farmhouse!

Mountain Gem.

Great location for Cooperstown Dreams Park! We have 2 smaller children (3&7) and the close location was perfect for getting the whole family out and to the park on time. The house was clean, Beds Comfy, and overall a very good cozy place to relax in between games/activities.

Great location for Dreams Park!

The house is older & has lots of charm! We had no issues with the property. Easy to get to Dreams Park. Only things I’d suggest is less stuff on top of furniture makes it feel crowded, trim back bushes weeds near house & AC unit in kitchen since it got very hot when we cooked.

Very nice house

Enjoyed our stay and there was plenty of space for our extended family and 2 dogs. Very generous with supplies and the kitchen had everything. The power cord and lighting situation could be improved. I would like fewer knick knacks and more open counters and tables. A more serious concern was that we could not open the front door ( maybe it was stuck) but that was a point of egress in case of fire. Highly recommend this comfortable home in a great location!

Thank you for your review as we always appreciate hearing from our renters. Please note that our home is inspected each year and receives a yearly Fire Code Certificate, as it meets all guidelines. In addition we post a framed layout of all egress windows and door locations within the home in all rooms, in case an emergency exit is required. I did not see anything mentioned about how these layouts are provided and that our Fire Code certificate is offered within the house guidelines book provided to renters and therefore I wanted to mention here. Thanks

Perfect location cute farmhouse vibe

We stayed here for my son's Cooperstown tournament week. There was my family with 2 teenagers, my Mom and my husband's parents. There was plenty of room for everyone and the house was well stocked with supplies. We cooked 3 meals in the kitchen and we had everything we needed. The location was great so close to the Dreams Park and you come in from the opposite direction of downtown area and where a lot of other rental property's are so you don't ever have much a wait to get into the park. Loved all the pins and rocks other teams before us had left. We left a pin and decorated a rock to leave too. Great little farmhouse vibe and great hosts.

Great Location

The property was great for us being in the area while our grandson played ball. We were only 2 miles from the park. WE had lots of room. Everything you would need was provided. They were lots of bushes and scrubs that could have been trimmed back a lot.
