6 days in Gallipoli

The studio apartment is in a good location in the old town. It has an awkward metal staircase to the mezzanine level which is too close to the curved ceiling/wall, so you bump into the wall as you go up or down. Limited hot water for showering - ie, not enough hot water for two consecutive showers in the morning. No kettle so we had to boil water in a small saucepan. Bedding and towels were poor quality. More pillows required as there was only 1 each.

This apartment is conveniently located in the historic center of Gallipoli, within walking distance of all amenities and close to the boulevard. The apartment is authentic and that is the charm but also a minus, because the interior is also authentic, so simple. Although everything is present and the bathroom was recently renewed, we would have liked a more comfortable seat in the living room. But it is clear that the owner does everything to the apartment as well as possible to take care of. We had a great week in Gallipoli. Gallipoli itself is a beautiful place, with nice terraces on the water or in the old center, a beautiful beach, beautiful churches, not to mention the harbors where delicious fish is for sale. And for those who love culture, there are a number of beautiful towns nearbye.
