A nice quiet little cottage. If you want a private, calm holiday this place is for you, however it is far from anything, nothing is walking distance so I definitely recommend to rent a car. Host was helpful, friendly and communicative.

A perfect getaway

If you love nature and want a peaceful holiday away from the crowds, this is the place for you. The setting is tranquil, and you are not overlooked, so there is total privacy. Walking trails go through this tiny village and we tried a few. Stargazing at night is brilliant thanks to lack of light pollution.

Due to the inclement weather we didn’t get to enjoy the facilities fully and after 3 days we left to book into a hotel as every time we were up in the casa it was cold and wet yet the sun was shining down by the coast. The weather we know is not guaranteed however it did spoil our stay.We contacted the owner on arrival and it was at least a couple of hrs before we got a response delaying us getting into the property, we appreciate the WiFi is not good in the mountains, we first tried calling when in the airport arrivals and on route.Problem with the front door on arrival, we couldn’t open it and had to eventually use a shoulder punch to barge it open, the handle was lose on the inside which worried us that we wouldn’t be able to get out, not a great start and it was difficult throughout our stay to open and close, luckily the owner responded eventually and came to fix the handle. The Casa we felt was basic but typical Spanish and had everything for your stay, but felt it just needed a bit of a tidy up, the towels rail in the shower area was coming lose on the wall and needed repairing and we were unable to use the toaster as it wasn’t clean enough and needs replacing. The sunbeds in the picture are not what are available for use, there are two black plastic ones with plastic type covers. There were no instructions or welcome pack on arrival, no local information on things to do, what to do if the power goes off, contact for emergencies, hospital, pharmacy etc.

During those days, the island was under a weather alert due to strong winds and rain, so the adverse conditions were general across the island. That said, it is true that in mid-altitude rural areas these conditions can be felt more intensely than on the coast, which may create a different experience. We understand that you may have been looking for a warmer and sunnier coastal environment. Regarding your arrival, we would like to clarify that we did not receive prior notice of your exact arrival time while you were on your way, which delayed our ability to assist you immediately. In any case, we attended the property as soon as possible. The issue with the door was caused by humidity, which can make wooden doors expand slightly on rainy days, and it was resolved at that moment. We take note of the aspects mentioned regarding maintenance and equipment, and we will review them to ensure everything is in optimal condition. Casa rural muy recomendable, con todo lo deseable para una estancia tranquila y cómoda, en un entorno envidiable, natural y tranquilo. Aunque el acceso a supermercado y otros servicios es lejano, este barrio goza de otras ventajas como son la ausencia de ruidos, tráfico, es inicio de senderos a pie interesantes y no queda muy lejos de playas con encanto. La casa dispone de todo lo necesario. Quizás podría tener algunos enseres más de cocina, y algo más de iluminación, sobre todo en la sala. Pero es muy agradable, cómoda, decorada con gusto y muy limpia. La limpieza es algo que destaca en este alojamiento. Los exteriores son un sueño, con una piscina grande, más profunda de lo que se suele encontrar en entornos rurales y muy limpia; dispone de un porche con barbacoa y mesa. Todo el patio tiene árboles frutales y plantas. La dueña es muy amable y hace lo posible por brindar una buena estancia. En definitiva, un lugar para repetir. s

Wir waren sehr Zufrieden mit der

Wir waren sehr Zufrieden mit der Unterkunft und ebenso mit dem Vermieter Jose Ramon. Wir kamen spät an einem Samstag am Flughafen an und mussten trotz Vorbestellung bei Europcar noch lange warten bis wir den Mietwagen erhalten haben, dadurch wurde es ziemlich dunkel, doch zu guter Letzt kamen wir dann beim Ferienhaus an wo Hr. Jose Ramon schon wartete. Er zeigte uns das Haus und da wir noch nichts gegessen hatten und wir Ihm verständliche machten das wir großen Hunger hätten führt er uns zum Gasthaus im Ort. Bitte richten Sie Hr. Ramon unsere ganz leiben Grüße aus. - Die Hausnr. ist die 17. - Vorschlag bei später Ankunft vielleicht Wasserflaschen zur Verfügung stellen, welche ja abgerechnet werden können, da man das Wasser nicht so trinken kann. (sehr Chlorhaltig) Wir würden gerne wieder bei Hr. Ramon in Las Vegas mieten, sollten wir Teneriffa mal wieder besuchen. Excellente adresse pour qui recherche le calme, Le gite est très bien et l'accueil de José très gentil et souriant. Une maison très accueillante avec toutes les petites choses que vous n'avez pas pu apportées dans votre valise (sel poivre huile ect...)Manque juste un sèche cheveux et une cafetière plus grande .Des oranges qui tombent sous l'arbre dans le jardin. Excellent séjour pour nouss
