Comcast High Speed Internet, Fully stocked gourmet kitchen. The house is set up for your enjoyment. Use the 4 cruiser bikes to bike along the coast and explore.
Monterey Bay Aquarium, San Francisco, or the redwoods are an easy drive.

About Glenn Aby
As a child we would get in the station wagon and head to Santa Cruz. We loved those trips. When I met the woman I wanted to marry we often went to the beach, and enjoyed it together. We liked it so much we made it part of our wedding weekend and invited the guests to a bonfire at the beach near this home. Our family has made the drive over the hill numerous times to spend many special days at the beach.

We looked for almost a year to find a beach house that met all our desires. We now know Santa Cruz neighborhoods well. The neighborhood is great and everything is so close. It does ones soul good to come to Santa Cruz.
What makes this House unique
If you have an electric car we have a 240 volt charger. The charger fits Nissan Leafs or any other vehicles that use a J1772 charger.

My daughter,neice and I stayed, each with ur own bedrooms, but lots of space to be together.
Very cute and spacious home! Just a short walk to the beach and about a mile from the boardwalk! My group and I very much enjoyed our stay here!
Perfect location, lovely home!
This property was perfect for our family of 3 generations. There is so much room to spread out or be together. We appreciated all the various amenities including well-appointed kitchen and games and videos for the kids. The location was perfect! We walked to the beach, harbor and lighthouse.
Our host Glenn was quickly responsive and very friendly.
I definitely recommend this property and would stay there again.

Glenn did a great job explaining the house. The whole house speaker system was amazing! The beach was a block and a half away. Would definitely come back.
Gorgeous house in an amazing location!
We were blown away by the location of the house, just a block to stepping on Seabright beach. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we could have needed and Glenn was incredibly responsive to any questions/concerns we had both ahead of and during our visit. I couldn't recommend it more highly for a family looking to enjoy everything Santa Cruz has to offer!
Good location. Strange house design.
This house is in a great location for Santa Cruz. However, this house is designed for people that do not want to hear or see their children in the basement. This house lacks a place where five adults can relax together. The common living space is just not comfortable. This house also brought up issues with VRBO. This house had issues with alarms sounding in the middle of the night and an absent owner that was unable to fix anything during our stay.
I'm surprised and sad about this review. During their stay I only heard of the alarm problem on the 3rd and last night of their stay. If there were other problems, they haven't shared them with me. I enjoy hosting and helping facilitate the best time. I feel real bad for this guest as the sump pump alarm warning did go off as the the sump pump failed. It is outside, but right next to a bedroom and they had trouble sleeping. I wish he had called me the first night. I asked if he had tried a couple things and his response was that he had and that it was okay and that they wouldn't sleep in that room. Maybe at that point he wanted me to suggest more. In hindsight I should have asked if he wanted me to send someone that night. By the way he was talking, my guess is that he would have said it's alright. If he wanted me to send a repairman that night, I would have. That same night the house alarm battery was low and chirped to say so, again making it hard to sleep. In over two and a half years neither of these problems has ever happened to any guest, and it shouldn't happen again. I will be replacing the alarm battery on a yearly schedule so that doesn't happen again, and the pump, which was 12 years old when it failed, will get replaced every 6 years. I will fix any problem with any guest that asks me to. There's only been 3 problems in 2 and 1/2 years, this one being the biggest. I give my cell number to all guests and I have always responded quickly. I am 40 minutes away and I have a handyman and a couple friends that are in Santa Cruz and available. As far as common living spaces, there are 3, and they are very comfortable. 8 in any one living area is doable, but a squeeze. I usually have groups of 8 and they love it. We love it, that's why we own the house. After this gentleman's stay I asked how I could make amends and offered a free stay. I had no hint that he was so upset and felt I was absent.
We chose this house as it is in the perfect location for walking. The Santa Cruz Beach boardwalk, the harbor, the beach, and downtown Santa Cruz are an easy walk.
A car is not necessary unless you want to go 15 minutes inland to The Forest of Nicene Marks, 90 minutes to San Francisco, 90 minutes to Monterey or Carmel, or 40 minutes to Silicon Valley.
