The setting for this home was perfect...steps away from the expansive Seabright Beach. The place was immaculate and filled with light. The sounds of waves were an added bonus when it was time to sleep. Everything was provided for comfort and caring--they thought of everything --even before we knew we needed it. I look forward to a return visit in the future.

Wonderful getaway

We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect—close to everything we needed. The house was well stocked with all the essentials and more, making it feel like a home away from home. The owners were incredibly responsive and helpful, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Fabulous Beachside Property

Property is exactly as described. Great location, a short walk from Seabright beach in a quiet neighborhood. The beds are very comfortable and the apartment is well stocked. You can hear the waves as you go to sleep. I would stay here again!

Seabright Beach Super-Place!

The location of this home is only two houses away from the Ocean, and a block to the stairway down to Seabright beach. Gorgeous home, deck that gives an ocean view, amenities and comfort galore.

Perfect Location

Our family of six stayed here while attending graduation at UCSC. We had a great time. The house is comfortable and well supplied. Plenty of room for all of us. The location in Seabright was perfect. Close to everything. The owners are very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Place

This property worked out great. The family of four had plenty of room and privacy downstairs while those without kids were happy upstairs. The location of this home is unbelievable. So close to the beach, The Boardwalk. Marina, restaurants, etc. Everyone wants to go back.

Wonderful vacation home

This was our first time staying at the Seabright Sanctuary home. The excellent location and ample space for 4 adults and 4 teens/children - helped make our stay so enjoyable! We really enjoyed the deck & view of Seabright beach. We were also very impressed with the well-appointed kitchen including newer appliances and pots & pans. Jodie was a great host and was in touch via text with check in and check out procedures. We would definitely recommend!

Amazing location!

Jodie's house was perfect for us (me, my husband, 2 kids under 2.5, and our au pair). It was so close to the beach, making it a breeze to take our toddler down there. It was walking distance from great restaurants and our favorite coffee shop. The house was well-stocked, making it feel more like someone's home than a rental (in a good way). Jodie was very communicative, responsive, and flexible!

Perfect location for a family stay in Santa Cruz.

Nice neighborhood. Incredibly convenient. Very walkable and safe. Near several cafes, delis, and restaurants. A short 15 min walk to the Boardwalk and the Wharf. Being the third house from the beach area, we enjoyed views of the ocean from the living room and deck. And it was a 5 minute walk to the ocean. The owners were very responsive and super nice. The house was clean and really livable.

Perfect house, hosts, location, neighborhood

From the start, our communication process with Scott/Jodie was clear, friendly, and hospitable. The location is even better than they can fully show with description and photos - you can watch the waves crash behind a fabulous standalone fireplace from the built-in sofa or the spacious front deck. You walk 30 seconds to a staircase leading to a huge beach with volleyball, soccer goals, fire pits, and a super cool lighthouse. There are restaurants, cool locals-bars, and coffee shops a few minutes walk away and a great natural history museum... and the rest of Santa Cruz is just a short bike or drive away - this place is PERFECT. The house was fully stocked with everything you could imagine for the kitchen/grill. The house's interior design is unique and makes you feel like you're at the beach, even when you're inside. We had a small issue with the water heater, and they took care of it immediately and proactively, even over a holiday weekend. The hosts are absolute pros. Can't recommend this place highly enough - we had an 11/10 stay

Outstanding house in a fantastic location

This is an outstanding house, with a beautiful ocean view from the patio and plentiful space. We had 3 small children and 4 adults and the house was the perfect amount of privacy and spaciousness. Our girls loved the loft area! We cooked several times in the well-stocked and very clean kitchen. The living room and the dining table seated all of us comfortably. The house is well decorated and very comfortable. We appreciated all the beach gear, outdoor shower, and other thoughtful amenities. The proximity to the beach, boardwalk, pier and harbor can’t be beat. The neighborhood is beautiful, well-kept and feels very safe. The sea breeze and sound of the waves every night was amazing. The hosts are very responsive and provide a lot of information about the area and the house. Highly recommend!

Well appointed

One of the best rentals we’ve been in, with respect to kitchen and living supplies. Great for a vacation where you are spending most of your time in the house. Walking distance to the beach and boardwalk. Didn’t need to drive most days.

Enjoyable stay

We loved our stay at this Seabright vacation home. The location is great - walkable to beach, boardwalk and restaurants. There was plenty of space for our joint family group of 8. The kitchen is well equipped with high end appliances and pots & pans and all other supplies. The owner was friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely be back!

Great property, great location, great everything!

We had a wonderful two week stay at this house in Santa Cruz. The house is completely stocked with things like towels, sheets, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. The kitchen has great amenities like nice pots, pans, glasses and cutlery. The house is roomy and the location ideal! We have stayed up and down the Santa Cruz, Capitola and Rio Del Mar coast and this house has been the best. The owners were very responsive and the communication around checking into and out of the house was clear. We plan to stay here again!

Great beach retreat for families

We really enjoyed our stay at the Seabright Beach house. The location was fabulous. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful but not far from some good restaurants and a coffee shop. The house was well stocked with everything from towels and bathroom supplies to kitchen utensils and dishware and glassware. The design is a bit dated but everything was well maintained and very clean. The master bathroom shower head needs to be replaced. Without that there is really only one full bath. The property manager was prompt and helpful in answering any questions we had. We would definitely come back again.
