FantaSea Home is a detached family villa that can sleep 7 guests. The private pool is 9.5m long x 5.5m wide and can be lit at night. The property is located near a hilltop over one of the most beautiful and longest white sandy beaches (Son Bou) of the beautiful island of Minorca (a UNESCO natural biosphere reserve). Menorca is the unspoiled gem of the Balearic Islands, Spain. The island is surrounded by the crystal clear and warm Mediterranean waters.
This modern Menorcan style house sits on a hill facing South/South-West. It offers breathtaking sea and sunset views . Son Bou is one of the 100 beaches of Menorca. Its west section is totally unspoiled and protected and it is surprisingly quite even during the peak summer season.
The property has been fully refurbished to a high standard in spring 2023. It has been decorated to give it a unique beach taste.
The villa has 4 spacious and cozy bedrooms, a bright living room opened to the outdoor porch offering magnificent views. There are two porches facing S/SW, both overlooking the sea and the private swimming pool with its large terrace equipped with shower and sun lounges. The outdoor dining areas and the gas BBQ are ideal for “al fresco” dining, and allows to fully enjoy the gentle evening breeze and sunsets over a glass of great local wine.
The kitchen is fully equipped. All rooms have air conditioning and free unlimited Wi-Fi. A HD smart TV offers international channels provided by two different satellites (Netflix is included as a complimentary service), and a mini Bluetooth Hi-fi system cheers up the evenings with guests’ favorite music under a splendid starry sky.

PLEASE NOTE: The property is on two floors connected through a stair case and the swimming pool terrace is at a further lower level accessible through an external staircase. The amount of steps could be an issue for elderly people or people with disabilities and potentially also for families with very small children.

What more could you ask for?

Brilliant location - okay this is a big tourist development, but spacious, and the villa is sited high up with fabulous views out to sea. Internal layout and amenities excellent for our group of seven; shopping (for food) and beach within easy reach (if involving steep uphill walk on return!).Very quiet, not disturbed by neighbours. Strongly tempted to return!

Gorgeous Villa with Amazing Views and Gracious Host

This is such a beautiful home with amazing views and room for everyone. Sun Bou is a charming town with good food, nice people, and a stunning coastline.We rented a car from Autos Menorca via Car Flexi (very affordable) and picked up groceries from Mercadona (just down the street from the airport Autos Menorca location). Manuele is a super supportive and gracious host. Would definitely stay here again.

Bathrooms

We were restricted to one bathroom between 6 people. The plumber came out 3 times and claimed to have fixed the problem, after the 3rd visit he admitted defeat and put the bathroom off limits. The problem was very unpleasant and smelly.

Fantastic sea view villa

Just returned from a fabulous stay at Fantasea villa. The villa has everything you need and is tastefully decorated. Everything you could possibly want has been thought of and is provided to a high standard. As a family group of seven there were plenty of space to relax. The sea views were spectacular from all three terraces with the pool area having sun all day. The pool itself was crystal clear and well maintained. The pictures don't do the villa justice. The location of Fantasea villa is perfect, central to the island only 20 mins from the airport and most places only an easy 15 minutes drive away, Ciutadella is only 30 mins away. A truly lovely villa and one that we all would recommend, thank you, we can't wait to come back.

Schöne Villa mit Pool

Wir haben die Villa als Fixpunkt benutzt und sind zehn Tage von dort aus zu Wanderungen gestartet. Mit dem Auto ist man in ca. 20 Minuten fast an jedem Punkt der Insel. Nach der Wanderung haben wir den Pool genossen, der ziemlich Privatsphäre bietet und auch verschiedene Ecken, um sich vor dem typischen Wind auf Menorca zu schützen. Abends haben wir dann jeweils in der Villa gekocht. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet, auch mit Backofen etc. Hier hätten wir gerne mehr Küchenhandtücher gehabt. Wir waren Ende April / erste Maiwoche dort. Da braucht es dann manchmal die Heizung (umgekehrte Klimaanlage). Lage: Ruhig, am Ende einer Sackgasse. Der Eigentümer hat jeweils schnell in der Kommunikation reagiert und war nett, vielen Dank Manuele.

Beautiful house with a great view of the sea

The house is large and beautiful as others have described. Son Bou is also very pretty and has the longest, very beautiful sandy beach in Menorca. There are no beach front houses since there is a lagoon behind the beach so the larger more desirable houses are in the hills and you need to use stairs or drive to get to the beach. The house has two stories and also a bedroom & shower on the main floor, with was used by one family member who preferred to not use the stairs. We had a great time swimming in the pool and in the clear blue sea, will have beautiful memories of our visit to Menorca.

10 days in beautiful Menorca

A very clean, well equipped property in a quiet residential area. The nautical decor is impressive. The balconies and pool area have privacy. The pool, which, is excellent is accessed down some steps. Air conditioning in the rooms is easy to operate and very effective. It is a steep hill if walking to the restaurants or beach but there is plenty of parking nearby. Manuele is extremely approachable and helpful at all times. He strives to ensure you have a great holiday without any problems.

Wonderful Property

We had a wonderful week at Fantasea - the Villa was immaculate, very private and the most stunning view over the bay at Son Bou. Our host was extremely responsive and provided great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. The Villa is in a quiet spot at the end of a cul-de-sac, and is very modern. There are many different areas to sit and enjoy the view both shady and sunny. We had a wonderful time and are planning our return!

Amazing two week stay in this beautiful villa

Our first impression on arrival was wow, the view was incredible, some evenings you can actually see across to Mallorca. The villa itself was lovely, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The pool and pool area were a welcome luxury especially with the extreme heat. We loved the way the villas have been designed so no one is overlooked. Son Bou beach is beautiful and the sea is crystal clear, it’s not far to walk, an umbrella and two beds are 20 euros for the day, walking back up the hill can be hard going though but we did it even with a 6 and 7 year old. The supermarket at the bottom of the hill is good for basics but can be expensive, we hired a car for two days and drove to a supermarket outside Mahon which had everything we needed and was very reasonable. There are plenty of restaurants in Son Bou, we had an evening meal at the beach restaurant which had an amazing sunset. My boys loved the Copacabana and the Hawaiian bar where the waiters wear rollerscates. We also ate at the all inclusive hotel the Valentin which is just a 7 minute walk away. Thank you to Manuele who was always very helpful with any questions that we had. We had a wonderful holiday and look forward to returning.

Maison incroyable avec vue magnifique !

Nous avons passé une semaine dans cette maison. Très confortable, très bien décorée. La vue sur mer est à couper le souffle. La literie est très bien. Nous étions 3 adultes et 3 enfants. Nous avons tous été enchantés. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement, très bien situé pour visiter Minorque. Un grand merci au propriétaire.

Großartige Lage und traumhafte Aussicht

Wir haben im Juni 2023 zu zweit eine fantastische Urlaubswoche hier verbracht. Die Villa liegt hoch über Son Bou in einem gewachsenen Wohngebiet, welches aus sehr unterschiedlichen Bebauungen besteht. Es handelt sich zwar sehr wahrscheinlich ausschließlich um Ferienhäuser, welche auch von den Eigentümern genutzt werden aber es hat sehr viel Charme und bietet viel Abwechslung. Die Villa steht am Ende einer Sackgasse in einer Hanglage und verfügt über 2 Etagen. Parkplatz und Eingang befinden sich im Obergeschoss, wo auch Wohnzimmer, Küche, ein kleines Bad sowie eines der vier Schlafzimmer liegen. Außerdem befindet sich oben eine große Terrasse, von welcher man einen traumhaften Ausblick auf das Meer und den Strand von Son Bou hat. Hier kann man morgens entspannt frühstücken und abends essen sowie den fantastischen Sonnenuntergang bei Wein genießen. Aus der Küche kann man über Treppen in den Garten und zum Pool gelangen. Es gibt aber auch im Untergeschoß einen Zugang zum Garten und zum Pool. Hier befinden sich drei weitere Schlafzimmer und ein größeres Bad. Wir haben im Untergeschoß im Fishermans genächtigt. Hier war es angenehm kühl und auch hier gibt es eine Terrasse, von welcher man auf das Meer blicken kann. Außerdem ist man mit wenigen Schritten am großen Pool, wo es sich sowohl morgens als auch abends herrlich abkühlen und entspannen lässt. Die Villa ist bestens ausgestattet und es fehlt an nichts. Die Lage ist idealer Ausgangspunkt, um die Insel zu erkunden.

Photos don't do it justice.

We are a family consisting of parents and 3 teens 16-18 yrs. The villa was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our needs. The kids all stated that the photo's were for once spot on or more so, that they didn't show as nice as it actually is, we both agreed. As the chief 'booker', Manuale couldn't have been more helpful or quick to respond to any queries, which is always reassuring. The location of the villa gives great views even from one of the bathrooms. Whilst the kitchen was small, it suited our needs perfectly and everything worked as it should with plenty of glasses, cutlery, crockery etc.. The walk into town and beach is short, but steep, great on the way down, HOT on the way up! The town itself is small but lovely, a great beach and long enough for a decent walk. There seemed to be every type of holiday restaurant within walking distance if you don't want to drive in the evenings, taxi's also easily available. We hired a car from the local rental place which was so simple and easy (I hate the queues at the airport). We've been holidaying in villas from vrbo for years, this is a stand-out property and location, it's not often you get them both together.

You will enjoy fantastic sea views from all over the house (porches, living-room, bedrooms, bathroom with Italian shower and pool). A beautiful pool (max length 9.5m, max width 5.5m) which lits at night is surrounded by a spacious terrace, parasols and sun lounges. You will love the gentle breeze and the stunning sunsets as well as its flowers and the Mediterranean bushes and palm trees. It offers a modern beach style, after an extensive refurbishment in 2023 to the highest standards.
It was love at first sight and it is now a truly Fantastic Sea view property. We decided to call it FantaSea Home.
