Spacious (72 sq. meters) well-furnished/equipped, modern, comfortable & quiet 1 bed apt. in excellent location a short walk to the Balcon de Europe & Old Town. The Milenio building is located on Calle Prolongacion, Herando de Carabeo adjacent to Nerja town center & the Old Town. Includes free WI-FI & free Air Conditioning. 3 Beaches a few minutes walk away. Secure private terrace & also 2 communal terraces ideal for sun bathing & offer stunning views over Nerja, sea & mountains. Suitable for couples (incl. small infant/toddler) & people with walking difficulties. No car necessary.

Access:
via a quiet side road, through a secure entrance. The property is on the ground floor of a very well maintained low rise building (3 floors). On entering the property, you find a well-equipped fully fitted kitchen to your left with american breakfast bar & granite counter top open to the lounge. The spacious lounge has doors which lead to the south west facing enclosed terrace, with independently opening security windows & bars, giving you the option of enjoying the afternoon & evening sunshine. A shower room with WC, vanity unit, heated towel rail, press and hidden washing machine. There is also a separate cloakroom with a second toilet. The bedroom with Super King sized bed, side board, bed side tables with reading light, hair dryer, ceiling fan and built in wardrobe. A double door leads to the private terrace with wicker coffee table & 4 chairs, ceiling fan.
The property also has access to a communal east facing terrace with stone built benches and tables as well as a large communal roof terrace on the top floor.

Large comfortable sofa, dining table for 4, coffee table & side board, TV with Satellite incl UK & Spanish channels, DVD player and a selection of DVDs and CDs, free standing reading lamp, ceiling fan, free standing fan, double patio doors to private terrace, A/C

Super King size bed ( 6 foot/180cm), bedside lockers and lamp, chest of drawers, built in wardrobe, ceiling fan and free standing fan, patio doors to terrace.

Shower with glass door, free standing sink, large mirror, washing machine, WC.

Outside:
Communal roof terrace with two private sun loungers, table, outside shower, with sun all day. The roof terrace is very private and unlikely to be used by anyone else. East facing communal Andalusian terrace with stone built benches and tables, benefiting from morning sunshine ( lovely for breakfast) & afternoon shade. Private south west facing enclosed terrace with wicker chairs & coffee table and ceiling fan.
Note: Access to the apartment is wheelchair friendly, with lift to the Andalusian terrace, and the huge roof terrace is by lift and part steps.

This one bedroom apartment is particularly spacious and has all the space of a well built two bedroom apartment except for the second small bedroom which is now used as a private lock up. It has the advantage of being on the ground floor, is secure & very accessible, also quiet as does not have a pool. It would be very suitable & safe for young baby/toddler and has the convenience of a second toilet.The building is very quiet. Recommended

Wonderful apartment for a longer stay

We spent almost two months in the apartment, working during the week and vacationing in the weekends. It's very well equipped, with everything you need and more. It's very suitable for a longer stay, with all the little convenient things you have at home but often miss in dedicated holiday rentals, like hooks and lights in all the right places, a fully equipped kitchen and a very comfortable bed. When we thought of something, it usually was there. Everything was very clean and worked flawlessly. It felt like home. We really enjoyed the roof terrace, which we almost always had to ourselves. There's sun all day. The apartment is extremely secure and safe, with sturdy locks and well protected windows, so we had no reservations about leaving our computers and stuff behind when we went out. It's also great to be able to sleep with the windows open on the ground floor. There is an excellent internet connection, suitable for videocalls and Netflix. The location is fantastic, right next to the center, a (free) parking lot, the bars, the shops and the beaches, but very quiet. John, our host, has done everything to make our stay a success. The communication was great from the beginning. We received a quick and accurate answer to any question and lots of useful tips for out stay. He looked after us very well with unexpected and very thoughtful attentions like desk lights, spare set of key, sunbeds and much more. We felt very welcome and highly recommend the property and owner!

Well located one bedroom apartment

The apartment was clean and comfortable in a good location. It had all the necessary requirements for a week’s stay. The only negative criticism is that the photographs on the website painted a more favourable picture than the reality of rather dated decor and furnishings. The only view from the windows was the carpark which unfortunately didn’t do justice to the beauty of the Carabeo area. The internal corridor of the building was the view from the kitchen window which made the apartment seem very dark and gloomy.

A very enjoyable stay

The apartment is in an ideal location for the old town and beaches . Very well equipped with everything you could possibly need . John was very responsive and helpful , check in was no problem . No hesitation in recommending the apartment .

The apartment is delightful, clean, comfortable, fully equipped and in an excellent location. We were impressed with the obvious thought that has gone into the apartment, including its decoration and furnishings. The owner, John, has prepared a very thoughtful and detailed Information Binder, which we found very helpful. The owner is easy to contact, very helpful and responsive. We highly rate the property, the owner and the experience.

The property is very comfortable and is in an excellent location for the Town and Beaches

The apartment is situated in an ideal location sitting mid way between the Balcon de Europ and Burriana Beach. It is extremely comfortable, very well maintained and equipped with everything you could need for your stay. Due to the apartments location within the building, we did find the apartment rather dark in the mornings with natural light being at one side of the apartment only. There was an information folder available in the lounge that contained good suggestions for walks, restaurants and the location of supermarkets, which we found very helpful. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.

Comfortable, well-equiped, only minutes from lovely beaches - just great!

This apartment exceeded expectations. It was in a well-built, well- maintained block which is next to a large car-park so had clear views from the windows so that you can watch the spectacular sun-sets and the festival fireworks with no buildings in the way. The apartment was well-constructed and insulated so we never had to use the heating ( of which there are 2 different systems should you feel chilly). The windows are double-glazed and there are metal exterior shutters.It was also very quiet when we were there in winter. All appliances etc had clear instructions and everything worked. It was very nice to have some UK TV channels as well as the Spanish. The 6 foot bed was very comfortable. As a keen cook I was very pleased that the kitchen had plenty of cooking equipment and a full set of good sharp knives, a goodly number of saucepans and frying pans and lots of other useful things. The apartment is literally minutes from sandy beaches, the lovely Balcon de Europa, lots of restaurants and mini-markets as well as larger supermarkets. We used the buses which were cheap and efficient. The main bus stop is a short walk away. We had a very enjoyable, comfortable and restful stay for three weeks and will be back.

Great location to explore Nerja

A great place to explore Nerja. We’d heard a lot about Nerja so we decided to spend a week here and found out for ourselves if it was as great as everyone is saying. Yes it’s pretty good. The apartment is prime location to explore and in the best area of the town. The apartment itself felt safe the entrance to the apartment block had its own locked gate, the design kept the apartment fairly cool even though the outside temp was up to 30°C there was no need to use the air conditioning. The air con was in both the living quarter and the bed room if needed, I have read that this is not always the case. The apartment itself had everything you need, Satellite UK TV/Radio, the kitchen was clean and everything work plus all the equipment you would want, comfortable seating, great WiFi, everything was in good condition, everything worked as it should, we were able to get as much sun as we wanted on the roof sun terrace. The toilet and shower room were very clean modern and in good working condition. Carabeo beach was only 5 minutes away max, the old town again just a few minutes’ walk, Burriana beach again you could have a sangria in your hand within 10 minutes. All in all a great base, modern, clean, everything working, great facilities and an outstanding location for exploring. Thanks Andy and Michelle.

This is a quality property in a fantastic central location close to beach, restaurants the Balcon de Europa and all the other amenities Nerja has to offer. Free WIFI & Air Conditioning included.
Our building is located next to Nerja's oldest and prettiest street Calle Carabeo This lovely 1 bed apt is very spacious (living space of a 2 bed apt, as 2nd bedroom used as a private lock up) on the ground floor of a beautifully maintained modern complex of just 27 apts on 3 floors. It is situated in a particularly quiet (except during Feria, the 2nd week of October) and safe area and yet very close by are traditional Spanish restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacy, internet café, launderette, and adjacent to the old market area containing a handful of genuine Spanish tapas bars and restaurants. There are 2 beaches within a 3 minute walk and the famous Burriana beach is about a 5 minute walk along the beach or via the nearby Parador Hotel pedestrianised walkway nearby. Nearly all of the main restaurants are within 3 to 5 minutes’ walk away. It has beautiful sea and mountain views from its very large communal roof terrace, very private and practically unused along with a second communal terrace, a traditional Andalusian East facing terrace enjoying morning sun and afternoon shade

Situated east of Malaga and unlike many other areas particularly West of Malaga it is not overly commercialised or busy. It is home to the famous Caves of Nerja and the Balcon de Europe.
The countryside around Nerja has plenty to offer to walkers, cyclists, horse riders, para-gliders and bird watchers.
