Built in 2004, our spacious 1460 square foot, 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath condo at the Waikoloa Colony Villas is located within the prestigious Waikoloa Beach Resort on the world famous Kohala Coast (or 'Gold Coast') of the Big Island of Hawaii. Our villa is furnished in a tropical theme and is ideally located just steps away from the pool, tennis courts and fitness center.
This premier exclusive resort community is renowned for its beautiful beaches, upscale amenities, great shopping, restaurants, golf and nearby activities. The private, gated complex of Waikoloa Colony Villas is located 18 miles north of the Kona Airport on 22 lush, beautifully landscaped tropical acres and is right next to the 10th fairway of the Waikoloa Beach Golf Course. You can also play tennis, work out in the air-conditioned fitness center or relax at the tropical pools. The villas were designed to enhance the convenience of condo style with the individuality and privacy of a home with no one above or below. With only six side-by-side units per building, it is the least densely populated complex in the area. The quiet tropical ambiance with its central location brings many guests back every year.
We are tucked in very quiet, private location with unobstructed views of distant fairways, mountains and lush tropical landscaping resplendent with swaying palm trees. We are conveniently adjacent to one of the complex's swimming pools with lava rock waterfall and spa, the air-conditioned fitness center, barbecue grills and tennis courts. With 17' soaring vaulted ceilings, the villa is spacious and boasts two furnished private lanais. The floor plan is the larger and most desirable of the 2-bedroom models, offering spacious accommodations and total privacy. As you walk in on the main floor, you are greeted with soaring vaulted ceilings and expansive views of the mountains from the floor to ceiling windows.

Our villa, with its upscale furnishings and calming tropical ambiance, has the privacy and feel of an individual home with slab granite counters, air conditioning and all the amenities you would expect in a luxury town home. This impeccably maintained villa is our second home and we have taken great care to provide superb accommodations and features for our guests. The kitchen is equipped with plenty of dishes, cookware, glassware, barware, utensils, serving dishes, spices, a variety of small appliances and everything you would expect in a cook's kitchen.
The dining room opens onto a large tropically furnished lanai for enjoying a leisurely cup of Kona coffee, tasty meals or an afternoon cocktail.
Both bedrooms are upstairs, each with King-sized beds, designer furniture and flat screen TVs. Each bedroom has it own bathroom and there is a 1/2 bath downstairs. Off the Master a large private lanai overlooks the golf course and mountains…a perfect place to relax on one of the chaise lounges and soak in the view.
Our unit is perfect for couples seeking a romantic getaway or for families wanting a sun-filled holiday adventure. A Pack and Play portable crib and baby gate is provided for children. We've equipped the condo with beach chairs, coolers and beach towels for your explorations at the many nearby world-class beaches. Boogie boards, snorkeling gear, sand toys and tennis rackets are all here for your use! The Kings’ Shops and Queens’ Marketplace, with exceptional restaurants, grocery store and quality shopping, are within walking distance. The location of the Waikoloa Colony Villas is a convenient central point for exploring the many activities and sites the Big Island has to offer.
At Waikoloa Beach Resort, the crescent-shaped A-Bay offers a pristine sandy beach with sports activities and rentals, shoreline paths, a giant turtle refuge and ancient royal fishponds, all just 5 minutes away. Just a few minutes drive north brings you to the world famous Hapuna Beach, Mauna Kea, Mauna Lani Beach, and several others to explore. Hapuna State Park, with its crystal clear blue water and fine sand, is great for boogie boarding.
We have been visiting the Hawaiian Islands for many years but fell in love with the Big Island. It's black lava rock and different ecosystems are so interesting, magnificent and enticing. You can swim, snorkel, golf, hike, view an active volcano, drive through a rain forest, see waterfalls, visit a winery...the list is endless! About Tracy Hodgins
We have been visiting the Hawaiian Islands for many years but just visited the Big Island for the first time in 2014. We fell in love immediately with the black lava rock, the pristine beaches, the different ecosystems, and the trust-worthy constant warm sunny weather! The Kohala coast with its sunny beaches, beautiful golf courses and swaying palm trees is where we want to spend our vacation time. We were happy to purchase such a well-maintained beautiful town home and we plan to look after our home-away-from-home with care and provide the best vacation accommodation possible for our guests!

We wanted a quality-built home, surrounded by lush grounds and beautiful tropical pools in a quiet and sparsely populated area. We appreciate the convenient central location for exploring the Big Island. Waikoloa Beach Resort has much to offer and one of the best beaches. We love the feeling we are in a house with soaring ceilings rather than an apartment with neighbors above and below. Our favorite spots are both the upper and lower lanais – we thoroughly enjoy relaxing and enjoying the view outside on our lanais!

Super condo for great price
Very clean and very well stocked condo with lots of beach toys ( chairs, snorkeling gear toys etc.) as well as 2 bikes. It is Close to the pool and grills. Both beds in this 2 bedrooms have memory foam pillow tops, hence the beds are extremely comfy. I always have trepidation with beds in renting condos because you never know what you are going to get. These were like sleeping on clouds. We would have no hesitation on renting this condo again. You cannot beat the Waikoloa beach area resort. An absolute must if you are a beach lover is a visit to the lovely Mauna Kea beach (you must get there early or you will be turned away due to limited parking) and is just a few miles drive down the road. The best beach with great snorkeling within a very short drive. Visting the Hilton grounds is a must as well as the dolphins.
Beautiful Kona condo
We stayed for a week and really enjoyed ourselves. The unit was very clean and the new flooring was wonderful. The unit was well appointed and had everything we needed to enjoy Kona.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property and the owners did everything to make us feel welcome. The unit has all the essentials needed to chill at the beach or to relax in the unit. Location is GREAT for the beach, restaurants & shopping. If an issue or question was presented they were always a phone call away and were very prompt. Beds were comfortable as well as all the furnishings. They are very trustworthy and we would recommend them to anyone without a hesitation. We will definitely stay here again.

Great for a family getaway
Super nice, big, comfortable and super clean and neat.
Fells very safe for our 2 small children, can play in the private garden, the view even though it is not an ocean view , it is to an amazing lava field , green golf court and mountains in the background. Closest beach a 3 minute drive, and centrally located to explore the rest of the Island. A prime spot in Waikaloa.

We are the owners of this property and want to treat you as we like to be treated. Our Rental Agreement will be emailed for your signature to confirm the booking. Cancellation information is available upon request and is also included in the agreement. We understand sometimes extenuating circumstances may cause you to cancel your vacation. We will work with you to make the best of the situation. Our policy states full refund less administration fee if the booking is cancelled 60 days before check in. (Deposit less administration fee refunded if cancelled 60 days prior to check in) Payment terms: 25% deposit due at time of booking. Balance due 60 days prior to arrival. Rates are for up to 4 guests - additional nightly fee applies for more than 4 guests. The fully refundable $200 security/damage deposit is returned to you within 10 days after your stay.
