Amplio un dormitorio, casita de un baño en una hacienda decoración tradicional. El dormitorio tiene una cómoda cama extra grande, sentado sofá y amplios armarios, mientras que la sala de estar abierta está amueblado con sofás, mesa de café, sillones, obras de arte originales, TV y biblioteca. La cocina está totalmente equipada con un comedor con capacidad para cuatro; el cuarto de baño, dos lavabos y una bañera de azulejos de gran tamaño colorida con ducha. El patio amueblado se accede desde la sala de estar y dormitorio. Su casita linda con un hermoso jardín de orquídeas, helechos, cactus, aguacate, tilos y una fuente. Una escalera junto a la cocina conduce a una sala de estar en la azotea con unas vistas impresionantes del lago de Chapala y las montañas perfectas para disfrutar de una margarita, la brisa cálida y puestas de sol.

Las instalaciones incluyen aparcamiento en la calle para un vehículo pequeño, WIFI gratuito, reproductor de CD / DVD, TV 42 "pantalla plana y una sala de lavandería compartida. Wonderful stay

The owner, Mary, was a wonderful host. We must also give honourable mention to Charlie her pet dog. Loved the location and the other guest were great to socialize with. Would definitely stay here again.

The Best Host in Ajijic

By far the best VRBO ever. Everything was excellent from the accommodations, including the casita, the gardens and location. Mary, our host was so helpful, she took us to the local tienda to buy supplies upon arriving, recommended her favorite restaurants which were excellent, and we left feeling like we had made a new friend. Hope to visit again soon.

There is no better location or host in Ajijic! So easy to walk everywhere. Safe and secure, I walked home after dark on many occasions. Mary- I can’t say enough about her kindness and generosity. Her pup Charlie was a joy to have around. Ask about an in room massage from Francisco. Felt at home from the first minute.

Wonderful hospitality in beautiful surroundings in the heart of Ajijic.

From the moment we arrived, Mary, the owner, was most helpful in introducing us to Ajijic and making our stay a success. The large casita is superbly located, decorated and furnished with a beautiful private enclosed garden and patio, providing a lovely tranquil setting. A 10 minute walk to the town center and a 5 minute walk to the weekly farmers' market were added bonuses. We highly recommend it for short or long stays

Great location, colonial style, wonderful bed, work, living room and kitchen. Outdoor veranda sitting area and garden with fountain. Safe, easy walk to Centro, 3 block walk to market, coffee, facial, nails,liquor,money, etc. Mary is attentive, fountain of info, helpful tour guide. We will be back to Ajijic❤️

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful and relaxing week staying with Mary and Charlie, in this beautifully decorated casita, in a quiet area of town yet in walking distance to everything! Fully equipped kitchen, beautiful yard, spacious rooms, there was nothing missing. Hoping to return to Ajijic soon and staying in this beautiful casita again! Thx again Mary, Monik and Daniel

Wonderful

Mary’s house is a wonderful place to stay as you explore the area. It feels very safe and secure and begins to feel like your home away from home. It is stocked with everything you might need and Mary is extremely helpful and welcoming. Grateful for her hospitality.

Great stay!

Our casita was lovely, spacious and with a great private porch. It was in a quiet area, but just a short walk to the hub of Ajijic and 1 minute from the lake. The true highlight was the owner, Mary. I dont think I've ever had a nicer host! She drove us to brunch, took us to the grocery store and gave us a driving tour of neighborhoods. We plan to move to the area soon, so this was extra special for us. If you're missing your pet, you can shower your love on her dog, sweet Charlie. We were lucky enough to meet her son David, who was visiting. We were sad to go home, but so excited to know we'll be returning soon.Thanks for everything Mary, David and Charlie!

A Relaxing Oasis

Mary and her dog Charlie were gracious hosts. After showing us our casita and the rest of the property, Mary drove us around Ajijic, then to lunch and the grocery store. She was available for any questions that we had, as well as to just hang out and visit with her. Our casita was supplied with everything we needed for our stay. The property was well maintained. We were even able to do our laundry before moving to our next destination. Mary made our stay in Ajijic truly magical and we cannot wait to return and stay there again.

It was our "home away from home."

Beautiful, spacious and spotless! We enjoyed walking to many nearby restaurants, the weekly market and the lakeside malecon. We especially enjoyed the evening sunsets overlooking the lake form the rooftop patio. Our host, Mary was so warm and accomodating, eager to help us with anything we needed - including a ride to get groceries and the ATM when we first arrived. This place is a real gem - don't hesitate to book it, if it is available!

Absolutely Loved It!

We had a really wonderful experience staying in Mary's casita for a month. It is a gorgeous place all the way around. The casita is tastefully decorated and very comfortable both inside and out. In addition, Mary was a terrific host- so friendly, helpful and enjoyable to talk to! We also got quite attached to Charlie, her sweet and polite dog. We also loved the location - close to downtown Ajijic, San Antonio, and an undeveloped walk along the lake. We highly recommend this place!

Delightful Welcoming Place with Great Host

This hidden gem in the heart of Ajijic couldn't have been better. 5 Stars in every category!! Beautiful garden setting, clean colorful rooms, awesome comfortable bed, big well furnished bathroom and fully equipped kitchen, all in great condition and very clean and quiet. Mary is a perfect Hostess and her dog Charlie is a cutie. We are planning a return visit in June and hope we can stay here again. Thanks Mary for being AWESOME!

A bit of heaven

The casita is a perfect spot from which to enjoy Ajijic. It is very attractive and open to a lovely courtyard garden full of birds. The kitchen is well supplied and as the grocery store is just a few blocks away, we cooked most of our meals there . From the mirador you get a wonderful view of the lake and the mountains. Mary is very helpful and accommodating. I would gladly return for a longer stay.

Perfect home away from home

We stayed at Mary’s lovely casita for 3 weeks and we can’t wait to get back again! We had a lovely kitchen, big, comfy bed, great living/working space and even a laundry area. The casita opens onto her beautiful garden with lots of outdoor seating. Mary is always available to help with any questions (but is never intrusive) and even gave my husband a ride to the dentist when his driver didn’t show! We truly enjoyed Mary’s company, her beautiful property and sweet Charlie (her dog) very much!

A vacation to remember

From the moment we walked thru the metal gates, we knew this was going to be a place we would thoroughly enjoy. Our casita (Casa de colores) was decorated in traditional Mexico style and was spacious and very comfortable. There were several outdoor seating areas where we could sit and enjoy the beautiful gardens and visit with new friends. Within walking distance to the lake, the Wednesday market, many wonderful restaurants, and close to everything we wanted to do in Ajijic. Mary, our host, was excellent and went out of her way in helping us with our stay. We feel like we hit the jackpot finding this place.

John, Linda and Smokey were perfect guests and are welcome to visit again anytime. My Charlie and Smokey got along fine. Linda and I found many common interests. We enjoyed a couple of nights out at a local restaurant. The casita was left clean and in order. Any host would be lucky to have them as guests.

Pieceful Paradise

As a scout trip, this was the perfect example of living in Ajijic. The Hacienda was in a central location and we walked to the local store, pharmacy and plaza daily. The casita was an authentic experience and Mary was the perfect host. We enjoyed our morning coffee from the panoramic mirador as well has the front terrace facing the mountains. We met many expats who were willing to tell us all about life in Ajijic. We were invited to have dinner and drinks on several occasions. This place is a great fusion of local Mexicans with their simple way of life mixed with the Gringos and their love for food and finer lifestyles.

Fabulous Casita, Fabulous Location!

I have rented this casita two years in a row for 2 months the first time and one month the second. Mary is the premiere host! Everything you need is there. The main market on Wednesday is 2 blocks away. The casita is comfortable, spacious, artistic and wonderfully appointed! The bed is the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The outside furniture and patio area are perfect for painting or just lounging about. The beach is less than a block away and the sunsets are incredable from the Miradore. It's an easy walk to the village. This place can't be beat!!!!!

Beautiful Casita With Wonderful Host

This vacation rental takes care of all the little details. We have went in to other rentals that are basically empty furnished places then we would have to go out to get all the basics just to get started. This place had salt and pepper, olive oil, dish soap, shower gel & hand soap, laundry detergent and such. Mary the host was there to greet us and to walk us through the place. Took the time to show us how to use the tv and since she lived on the property was always around with a warm smile, a good morning and checking in to see if we needed any thing. I would recommend this as the go to place to stay if you are going to Mexico. It is quiet and the views from the roof are beautiful! Thanks Mary for a great week.

Comfort and Joy

For our first stay in Ajijic we could not have been better served. Starting with a gracious hostess that helps you settle into the Ajijic rhythm of the place, i.e. market where to shop restaurants etc. Our specific suite was well decorated in the local flavour yet very comfortable with spacious rooms. As we ate in the kitchen was well appointed with sharp knives even non chemically coated pans. good ventilation + good ceiling fans. Exterior covered area is spacious with sofa, eating table and superb garden with citrus and Avocado available to tenants. Mosquitos can show up at sundown so one can use the local Zen Mosquito spray all natural and fragrant. All the guests were cordial and friendly (3 suites)

Mary is a retired business woman from Washington. She has travelled to several countries and when deciding on a place to retire visited Ajijic and like many others fell in love with the warmer, more colorful, and slower pace of life here. She has remodeled the house to include a main house and three casitas which she enjoys sharing with people from around the world.

As you enter the property you are met with a view of a lush tropical garden and a lovely fountain, a large avocado tree and a lime tree. Each casita has it's own unique decor, one Mexican, one Mid-Century Modern and one on the second floor that has a panoramic view of the lake and mountains.
