Great stay once we were in

The apartment is in a great location. Lots to do, easily walkable, in the middle of the action but the bedrooms are set back and not loud at all. Loved our stay in Madrid. The check in process was a bit stressful since we didn’t get instructions until we were in an uber, 5 minutes from the apartment after multiple messages and calls. Essentially the apartment has an electronic key the manager can use remotely to let you in. Once in, there is a set of keys to be used during the stay. We did not know this until we were standing at the door of the apartment. After that, it was all great. High recommend just be aware of the check in situation.

Madrid downtown apartment Puerta del Sol

Very disappointed. The condition of the property is not as it appeared on the VRBO website.We stayed two nights in May, 2025The condition/quality of just about any appliance and furniture piece was not satisfactory.I would rate this property a 5/10 due to the pictures being misleading. Once we arrived and inspected the apartment, we did not want to stay. List of issues :Floor dirty/dusty,Furniture was of low quality and in disrepair, Couches are dirty and wobbly from age and use, When sitting on one side of the couch there an obvious lean towards the centre,The accent pillows and throws were of low quality and are worn,The bedding/linen is worn and of low quality,Washrooms - both were in disrepair - they were covered with mould particularly around the shower doors and caulking. Large amounts of water spilled out of the shower onto the floor due to poor door seal. Flooring in a number of areas including the kitchen & outside the bathrooms were damaged due to water penetration.Both mattresses had yellow stains. One of the mattresses dipped towards the middle. The couches were stained and not very supportive to sit on. Very worn out!The freezer required defrosting.We reached out to Any of For you Rentals. He came to the apartment to view our issues. He took notes & pictures. He escalated our concerns to his Manager (Paola). She told us we would not be receiving a refund. If you want a quality stay, find another place.Maria & Troy

Great location to everything

Superb location to walk to most every area of Madrid. The app for accessing the building did not let us access, thankfully doors were open and repair crew was there to give us a key. Inexpensive remodel seems to have been done so it's a little cheap feeling. Baths have no place to hang bath towels or even put anything on a counter- for shaving, makeup, nothing. We used it just for sleeping mostly as we were out daily. old mattresses sag in the middle. no coffee make, pot for water is there only. nice to the lift to get to 3rd floor. manager responded quickly to questions and concerns and sent repair crew to fix shower door. short walk across Playa del Sol to get to flat- no cars permitted - but that was easy enough. The short walk was standard drop off for taxis and Ubers. again, great location.

Good apartment in a great location in the Sol area of Madrid

We had a nice stay here overall as the apartment was in a great location (steps from Sol, across the street from the metro station and a huge department/food store - El Corte Ingles) and had a lot of space with a very nice/large sitting area. Still the apartment could use a little updating, as there was very minimal kitchenware (only a couple of wine glasses, bowls, etc.) there aren't hooks or any places in the bathrooms to hang towels, and one of the shower doors leaked at the bottom. Also while the apartment was cleaned fine by the cleaning service the walls could use a bit of a wash or re-paint too as there were some stains on them that made it feel less clean. Ultimately we enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect but some updating is needed to move it from good to great overall.

Madrid vacation

Great location. Very clean. Cabs/Uber drop off nearby but not at address. Should include a small map to ease confusion. A coffee pot would be a bonus as would ability to stream Netflix/Prime. Very well lit. FunLocation.

Great neighborhood in Madrid. Large spacious apartment.

Ideally situated on the Calle Preciados. Large kitchen/living area with street overlook. Bedrooms are off the main street so are very quiet. Each bedroom area is equal: queen bed and bathroom - perfect for two couples. Online check in is tedious - necessitated uploading pictures of passports. Overall i would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful flat & location

Would absolutely stay here again next time in Madrid. Location was walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. So many food choices nearby & a grocery store across the street for any comfort food we wanted chilling in our flat. Thank you.
