Excellent location and beautiful accommodations. Host was so very kind and worked with is when our flight got delayed. The neighborhood had great spots to grab bites and up the road a bit was the plaza mayor - and all it has to offer. We are already talking about how we would stay here again!

This is a beautiful property in a great part of the city - the Prado, Plaza Mayor and the palace are all walkable from this location. Everything still seems brand new, and the apartment was very clean. Communication with the property manager was a bit frustrating as they did not answer their phone initially, but after a few phone calls, they were very helpful in directing us into and through the apartment building. Overall, we strongly recommend this apartment!

The location is terrific, situated a few blocks from where all the activity near the Plaza Mayor starts which allows you easy access to explore the "tourist zone" while also being able to retreat to your flat for a more tranquil environment. The apartment itself is not large, but comfortable. The kitchen set up, opening up to the living room area, provides for an inviting hangout level. Having the bedrooms upstairs with their own bathrooms is a major plus. The showers in the bathrooms are tight, but typical of my experience in Europe and really did not bother us one bit. The staff we communicated with was friendly and helpful. All in all, a terrific place for our family of four to experience our first trip to Madrid.

Lovely Apartment in Madrid

Our stay on Calle de Toledo was lovely. The unit was very secure, very clean, and updated. The beds were comfortable and the showers all worked well. We appreciated being able to walk to many restaurants, several grocery stores, and many sights in Madrid. The regional train was very close as well.

A few small details we found that will help. Make sure to bring more dishwasher pods and laundry if you plan on doing more than one load. Bathrooms dont have a lot of shelf space. Washing machine is a dual unit so we found a little tricky without a manual. We brought a roll of paper towel. They provide a nice little welcome kit including coffee pods.
