It's such a peaceful, private place to take in the beautiful scenery and spend time with your family & friends. The spacious living areas give you space to gather all together or find a quiet room to read a book and relax. The outdoors come to life here while walking down the country road behind our home along the Shenandoah River or the country road in front of our home viewing the mountains and pastures. You can relax by the pool and hot tub or sit out on one of our 5 porches/decks. Wherever you sit or look there is an abundance of beauty. We love to watch the moon come over the mountains or the sun set behind them. Every day is a different picture to see - the foliage in the fall, the clouds against the mountains, the stars like you've never seen them before but best of all the laughter and joy when family and friends are gathered!

About Mary Beth

We built this home in the beautiful Shendandoah Valley to raise our children. We designed it so that all of our family and friends could come and visit any time and stay with us. The home is so inviting and special to us and we hope you enjoy it as well.

The second we drove up to this piece of property we were blown away by the views and the peacefulness that surrounds the area! It's a great place for a family reunion. Beautiful views

  • 5 of 5

The property has the most incredible views, and we had such a memorable stay. The house could use a few repairs, but nothing so major that it impacted our enjoyment . All in all we absolutely loved this place, and are so happy we found it. Mary Beth was fantastic to work with as well!

Unbelievable Views, Home & Property

  • 5 of 5

Mary shared her home with us to host our wedding party for three nights during our wedding weekend. The pictures do not do this place justice! We had plenty of space between the second floor bedrooms, finished attic and basement to house 20 people for the entire weekend as well as host a rehearsal dinner/cookout Saturday night. The outdoor patio space, deep pool and huge hot tub are phenomenal. We got married nearby at The Columns at Six Penny Farm on Sunday and can honestly say we couldn't have asked for a better wedding weekend with friends and family. Mary is a pleasure to work with and her neighbor Debbie, her property manager is the best. Thanks again for helping us celebrate the greatest weekend of our life.

Excellent for large families!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here last April and loved this home! There were 17 of us-9 children ranging in age from 1-12! Plenty of room for all of us-very large rooms. Huge yard and house was away from the road so no worries about the children outside playing! Large kitchen and dining table! Highly recomnended!

Absolutely gorgeous!

  • 5 of 5

From the time we arrived to the time we left was amazing. We were going to have our ceremony in the front yard but it was raining and because the home was so big, we were able to keep everyone dry and warm inside while my husband and I exchanged our vows outside on the back covered deck with the beautiful scenery behind us. Will definitely keep this property in mind next time we vacation in Virginia

Again and Again

  • 5 of 5

Can't thank you enough Mary Beth for opening your home for me and my many family members to escape the hustle and bustle of our busy lives. This having been our third time in the last two years staying at your place has made it feel like home to us. We liked the updated paint job you had done in the kitchen and we're grateful for the new crib upstairs! It was incredible having our granddaughter with us! Next time we are going to come with my husbands side of the family! Until we see you again, B

Very memorable stay!

  • 5 of 5

The house was terrific and the views exceptional. My family rented the house for a celebration of a loved one and everyone enjoyed the spacious and comfort of this home. In particular, the kitchen area was our favorite and had everything and more needed to cook and entertain as we had young kids to older adults staying there. In addition, the owner and the property manager responded very promptly to any questions or special requests we had which made the service side of renting this home easy and stress free. We really enjoyed it and hope to come back one day. Thank you again for a memorable stay!
