This is a lovely older home that exudes the flavor of old Hawaii. While completely modernized, the location, view, and neighborhood is simply wonderful. We would love to spend more days here. We will rent again the next time we are in Hilo. Great for families. The home has whatever you could possibly need. Simply charming!

Amazing holiday getaway

  • 5 of 5

The turtles out front! The snorkeling! We also went to Volcano, Akaka Falls and Mr. Ed's jams, the Farmer's Market, Sweet Cane Cafe. The location is stellar. The house is spacious and relaxing and luxurious in an island way. Highly recommend for feeling like you truly got away from it all.

Second stay, just as good

  • 5 of 5

A wedding brought me back to Hilo soon after my last time here. This time I did less exploring and more strolling, lounging on the beach and lounging on the front lawn looking at the ocean. And I will be back!

Beautiful and immaculate in excellent location

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here for our 20th anniversary. The house was perfect for a couple and for a romantic weekend, with nice wine glasses, lounge chairs, a little outdoor table we put in the lower front yard for sunset drinks. The bedroom and bath had robes and good amenities. We especially loved the beaches and seeing turtles in "the front yard." It was busy in the area on Saturday with all the beach goers so we just put beach chairs across from the driveway and sat out along the water to see the action and more turtles. We had a great time and highly recommend this place.

Amazing home, location and overall experience!

Close enough to Hilo and Hawaii Volcanoes National Park to take advantage of all the wonderful activities and attractions, yet removed enough to be in your own private piece of paradise. The black sand beach and incredible snorkeling located steps from the house are amazing!
