You are only five minute walk from the world famous Selfridges, Hyde and Regent's Park.Size of property is about 330 sqm. The closest underground stations are Bond Street and Baker Street and it is 10min by cab to the Lonodon Paddington that has a direct 15 min train to Heathrow.

Great location, walkable neighborhood

All the bedrooms were well furnished and bathrooms were in working order. One of the bedrooms was in the basement and was not as well appointed as the other bedrooms. Dining room was great for group meals.

The check-in process could be improved. The cleaning person met us when we arrived with the keys. It would have been helpful to have a binder with information about the property, specifically, how to turn on the heat and use the appliances.

The property was clean and well-maintained. I would recommend this property to a friend, however, not suitable for those with mobility issues as there are a lot of stairs.

The Marleybone neighborhood was fantastic and only blocks from this location. We walked Marleybone high-street, found The Cheese Shop (worth a visit) and the Ginger Pig.

Excellent, highly recommended

50 Manchester Street was the perfect townhouse for our group of 7. The house was extremely clean, well appointed, roomy, centrally located and managed by a very welcoming and competent hostess.

Bedroom facilities were comfortable with bathrooms en suite. The kitchen was well appointed and the adjoining dining room comfortably sat our large group and several guests. Conveniently located near Manchester Square and the Wallace Collection, the property is in easy walking distance to a number of tube stations. The climb up to the fourth floor is a hike, and the disabled will be assuredly challenged. For those interested the mini-gym it was clean and well appointed with new machinery. We entered the townhouse after a long flight and were welcomed by the proprietress and a delicious pot of tea served on china awaited us.

It is understandable why a steep security deposit, paid in advance, was requested, for once you enter this 4 bedroom, beautifully appointed house you understand that this property needs to be protected. The deposit was swiftly refunded in total a few days after our stay.

We recommend 50 Manchester Street without qualification. Thank you.

Great Find

My family recently returned from a 9 day London holiday and found this wonderful West London (W1) townhouse that we used as the base of our operation. This 4 bedroom, 5 bathroom place was more than enough for our group of 5 and we could easily have slept 2 -3 more. The kitchen is fully operational with modern appliances and a bonus Nespresso machine. The homeowners were very responsive to our questions and concerns about the place because when we found it on VRBO there were no reviews. We were easily able to communicate with the owners and their housekeeper met us on schedule and showed us everything. She was lovely and gave us her personal phone number in case we needed her help.Main floor has a nice foyer, kitchen and large dining room.

There is an exercise room 3 steps down which has a working treadmill, free weights and yoga mats.

The 2nd floor has a nice media / television room that is comfortable to sit, relax, read or watch TV.

3rd and 4th floors have comfortable bedrooms with a really nice master suite.

There are a lot of stairs in this place typical of this architectural style so don't expect a lift for your luggage or your frequent trips from the lower levels.

The neighborhood is ideal as a base for touring, walking and exploring London's central and west central neighborhoods. Halfway between Hyde Park & Regent Park it is a 5 minute walk to the shops, pubs and restaurants on Marylebone High Street. 5 minutes to Selfridges and major shopping on Bond and Oxford St. 10 minutes walk to the Baker Street Tube Station which gives you access to the whole city. Uber drivers were never more than 5 minutes away. Coffee shops and the morning paper are only 2 minutes away on Chiltern St or George St. It is a residential street but really close to the center of what is happening. You will not regret this choice.

Great Find

We rented this property in December 2016 for a 9 day, London family holiday. This 4 story townhouse is extremely well located in the Marylebone neighborhood (W1) in the heart of West London. Our family of 5 adults was very comfortable and took advantage of everything this house had to offer. The Owner was very responsive to questions and issues we had about the property and the housekeeper met us and gave us a comprehensive overview along with personal cell phone if we had any problems or concerns. We did not need to call her.

For sleeping, there is large master bedroom suite along with 3 additional bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms. It can sleep 8 comfortably. Multiple hot water heaters provide more than adequate hot water for a lot of showers. There is a full service kitchen that is well stocked with all of the necessary gadgets and a bonus Nespresso machine -- all available for our use. We tried many of the local restaurants which were all very good but also used the kitchen for preparing and cooking a number of meals during our 9 day stay. Adjacent to the kitchen is a formal dining room that can seat 8 comfortably.

There is an exercise room 4 steps down from the main level which is a great bonus. The room is stocked with free weights, treadmill, step machine, music and soft floor mats for a good work out session. It is the former outside patio area that has been enclosed and although it may have been nice to have some outdoor space, it was perfect use of the space for cold weather months and rainy days ( which are very frequent in London). It appears many of the neighboring houses built the same enclosure.

Between the main level and 3rd /4th level bedrooms is a comfortable sitting room with large sofas, chairs, and 47" TV. Books line the shelves including local London guide books.

Built in the typical style of London townhomes, there are a lot of stairs in this place which require a lot of up and down travel which is fine if one has a fairly decent fitness level. It wasn't a problem for our family. For seniors or people with health concerns the number of stairs is a challenge. There is no lift and no bedrooms on the main level.

This portion of the Marylebone neighborhood sits nicely between Hyde Park and Regents Park within 2 minutes walking distance to the many shops, restaurants and pubs on Marylebone High Street. The Baker Street tube station is a10 minute walk.

This place is highly recommended.
