Great Little Place

A great little apartment and location, fantastic shops with everything you need in the immediate area. Short Uber ride away from Gran Via 2 shopping centre and Barcelona itself.

Lovely but lacking a little bit

Very spacious and clean throughout. Great location, walking distance to everything. Pool was clean and beautiful so lay around on the lounges. However... Wifi was working for one day and then was not for the remainder of our stay (4 days). We rented dvds and then unfortunately found that the DVD player did not work. No batteries either in the dvd remote control anyway. No lights outside in the pool area so we were unable to utilize the area in the evening for dinner. The no air-conditioning was a big negative as the rooms without ceiling fans got very stuffy when the temperature outside heated up. We would definitely not stay here in the summer time as the whole house was hot and it was only the start of November. Remember to bring bath towels, bath mats, hand towels, tea towels, bed sheets and pillow cases as the property does not provide them! We had to rent all of these as we were coming from Melbourne and it’s not cheap to fit out every bed and also every person with towels. Overall disappointing for the cost of our stay. We won’t be booking this rental again as we see much better value elsewhere.

Great house in excellent location

The house is very well designed from so many perspectives. It is light, breezy (no air con but with air flow and French doors open it doesn't need it). There were 6 adults and 2 kids and it accommodated us very well despite 2 rooms being bunks. It is 5 minutes to the beach and 10 mins into town walking so had no need for a car. House is very well equipped and has great character - it's easy to see the owners designed and decorated it with love. It's a combination of new and retro Aussie beach house. The pool is a welcome addition although we did spend a lot of time at the beach - reached through a nice pathway at the end of street. Would definitely stay again!

Everything you need !

The Florida was fabulous and I woukd highly recommend it to families travelling together. It was so well equipped and had a fun holiday/retro feel. The location was quiet and an easy walk or cab ride into town or up the hill to the Top Shop which is yummy, healthy and trendy! My only negative is the lack of blinds in the master bedroom (made for early mornings) and also the kids bunk rooms were super bright in the morning. We will be back to stay again!!

The Florida was fabulous and I woukd highly recommend it to families travelling together. It was so well equipped and had a fun holiday/retro feel. The location was quiet and an easy walk or cab ride into town or up the hill to the Top Shop which is yummy, healthy and trendy! My only negative is the lack of blinds in the master bedroom (made for early mornings) and also the kids bunk rooms were super bright in the morning. We will be back to stay again!!
