Welcome to Phoenix V 1513! You will feel like you are on top of the world looking down on God's beautiful creation.

If you have never visited the absolutely beautiful, Alabama beaches, you are in for a treat!!! Many who come here for the first time are amazed. Who knew Alabama had beaches, much less sugar white sands, and emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico!

We have miles of the whitest beaches in the world, an abundance of Gulf water life, a plethora of restaurants, and bars/grills. Grocery stores and shopping are close to our unit with the Outlet Mall just a few miles away. Other activities include Waterville USA and The Little Zoo That Could, each located in Gulf Shores. The Mobile Bay Ferry and the Fort Morgan Historical Fort (Do you remember from history lessons the phrase, "Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead"? Yep, that famous phrase was stated at the Battle of Mobile Bay in Ft. Morgan). Watching the dolphins play on the ferry ride to Dauphin Island is a favorite outing for me. Upon arrival you will find numerous restaurants, the Dauphin Island Sea Lab, and more white sand beaches.

Our unit has so many wonderful amenities including: beach activities, tennis, racquetball, fitness center, hot tubs, indoor and outdoor pools, and outdoor grilling area. We must not forget the children! The new splash pad offers hours of entertainment and fun for your kids and grand kids.

Our unit is a two bedroom, two bath, Gulf front unit. The master bedroom features a king size bed, private bath, and balcony access. The guest bedroom has two full size beds. A queen sleeper sofa offers additional sleeping for a total of 8. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of dishes and cookware.

Our goal is for you, your family and friends to make memories that will last a lifetime. Also, for you to become a frequent guest, who wants to stay in our unit every time you visit the Alabama Gulf coast.

To make your stay as pleasant as possible, we provide six beach towels for our guests. Hair dryers are also provided in each bathroom.

Nice and clean with no details

We stayed at Phoenix V # 1513 from August 3rd -August 6th, 2017. We booked through VRBO in April 2017. I really don't have any complaints other than check in and check out. I was expecting to receive an email or message through the app that would give me instructions on how to check in to the condo. I never received a message or email. I also tried to call the contact number for the owners of the condo, and it was not a working number. The only thing I knew to do was to go to the front desk of Phoenix V and ask them if they had any information on what we were supposed to do. They had to contact the owners and also get the passcode for our condo. I'm not sure if this is standard, but it was a little frustrating. I do NOT like traveling without knowing what I am supposed to do when I arrive and just trying to figure things out at the last minute.

Also, our check-in time was 3:00 p.m. When we went up to the condo, the cleaning crew was there and told us it would be another hour before they were done. Headache. This issue needs to be addressed and resolved.

I also never received check-out instructions. Me and the others in my party simply left the condo how we have done in the past with other condos. We had no clue how to leave the condo for the cleaning crew.

I'm not sure if this is a fluke with VRBO, or the owners of the condo, but renters need to have more info about the check-in and check-out process, well in advance of the first day of their booking. Such as an email instructing me to go to the front desk to obtain a parking pass and wristbands for the pool, and also letting me know that the passcode for the condo would come directly from the owners.

Poor communication is frustrating.

Otherwise, the condo was a clean, typical 2br/2ba condo. The 15th floor had great views.

The location of this condo is excellent. It is a beautiful part of the beach and centralized to the area. We had a wonderful time and totally enjoyed the accomodations.

Great stay for young families!

This is our third year to visit the gulf coast, and second at the Phoenix 5. We loved this condo- it was updated with granite counter tops and tile floor throughout, with plenty of room for our family of 5. Gayle and Shelby were so easy to work with, and readily available if we needed to contact them (they were probably the nicest condo owners we've interacted with over the past 3 years!). Our boys told us the Phoenix 5 is their favorite place to stay, so we'll likely be back soon!

Awesome place to stay

We enjoyed our stay in your condo so very much. It's a very clean and comfortable place to stay. It is handy to stores, restaurants, and attractions. We loved how close it is to the beach. The owners are very nice and easy to work with. Thanks so much Gayle and Shelby for everything. We hope to stay with you again in the near future.
