Disfrute de una relajante escapada en esta tranquila casa de campo (The Sleepy Cat Inn), en la encantadora ciudad costera de Ventura, a solo una hora al norte de Los Ángeles; 25 minutos al sur de Santa Bárbara.
Este bungalow privado cuenta con un alegre dormitorio con ventana de buhardilla y puerta francesa que conduce a un pequeño balcón; baño con azulejos decorativos personalizados; Cocina completamente equipada con comedor, ventana soleada y francés.
Puertas al patio con vista al puerto de ventura.
A sólo 1. 5 millas de la playa y el centro histórico de Ventura.

Nota: Hay una escalera con 30 pasos desde la calle hasta la casa de campo. No se permite fumar en las instalaciones. Sin mascotas.

What a lovely place to stay. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed and more. Christy has added many special and thoughtful touches that contribute to the charm of the bungalow. We loved the natural light and the outdoor seating areas....just needed more time to enjoy them! It's a very convenient location for activities/restaurants in Ventura and neighboring towns. We would love to stay again!

Wonderful Stay

My wife and I stayed in this cozy little cottage for three nights and enjoyed every minute. Perfectly comfortable for two people and conveniently close to the things you would want to do in downtown Ventura. Christy makes for a convenient easy check in and was super responsive. Would recommend if you're looking for a place to stay in the area.

Beautiful property. The only improvement I would make is installing a higher pressure low water flow shower head. Very hard to get shampoo out of my hair. Lovely view.

Nice Location & Host - Property needs To Be Updated

The neighborhood is very nice and the host has been very kind and available. The cottage is cute but needs upgrades especially for the small kitchen area (we had issue with ants coming from a the grout lines of a very old countertop and stove) and bathroom shower. Conclusion: it is a great solution for a short stay and if your need of using the kitchen is limited. You need car to go to downtown but you have beautiful views from up there.

Beautiful and peaceful experience

We stayed just over a week and it was enjoyable! Property was just as described and had even more amenities and caring touches that we weren't expecting. It has everything you need, aside from your own food and beverage. There was a designated parking spot just for us. It felt secure in a nice neighborhood, such that we felt safe to sleep with the windows open and listen to the crickets at night and the birds in the morning. Beautiful views and foliage. We accidentally crossed paths with the host, who was very friendly and otherwise let us keep to ourselves the whole time. 10/10 recommend this property. Just be mindful (for any who are challenged with mobility) that you'll be carrying your luggage up and down a series of steps. It's worth the exercise :)

Beautiful, quiet casita

My husband and I stayed for a few nights in July at The Sleepy Cat Inn, and we completely enjoyed our stay! It was just the perfect size for the two of us and very private. The bed and linens were premium quality. We were very comfortable! The kitchenette was well stocked with all we needed to prepare our meals. We used the barbecue and enjoyed our sunset meals at the table on the lower front deck of the house. Beautiful garden and landscaping! We loved the easy parking and close access to the coast, marina and downtown Ventura. Hope to return again soon! Thank you, Christy!

Stairway to Heaven

Must remind long range prospects on the 43 steps to cottage. It is cozy and comfortable for short stays. Parking is challenging. Location provides easy access to area. No beach essentials provided.

Lovely stay

Would highly recommend staying in this casita. It is quite a treasure and the owner was very responsive to all correspondence. The beautiful patio offers ocean views and a great place to have breakfast. It was very peaceful and quiet, and we enjoyed sleeping with our windows open to take advantage of the cool ocean breeze. Would not hesitate to stay here again the next time we’re in Ventura.

Charming Cottage

Tucked away in the hills of Ventura in a quiet neighborhood, this tiny, charming cottage was a perfect fit. A comfy bed and all the amenities you need. Close to downtown and the beach. A stunning view from the patio. It’s a winner!

Gorgeous property in the hills above Ventura. The cottage was Adorable, comfortable and beautifully maintaine. Yes, there are 42 stairs from the street parking, but not bad! Overall, we were very pleased! Excellent choice for a vacation! We will be back!
