Lake! You can have it with renting this immaculate 3-bedroom
cottage, located just north of Baldwin. 3137 Wolf Lake Drive, Baldwin, MI
The cottage features a fireplace in the living area, cathedral ceilings, a breakfast bar in
the kitchen and deck that overlooks the all-sport lake. Enjoy bon-fires in the evening around the fire pit.
Only blocks away from state quad trails and you can drive them right from our cottage. Minutes away the Pere Marquette, Pine, and Manistee rivers which are one of Michigan's best trout rivers. There is options for canoe, tube, kayak, and raft down these rivers.
The cottage sleeps 6-7 and comes fully furnished. You just provide towels, bed
linens, and best of all, great memories. Let this become your next
ultimate summer or fall getaway
Option to rent up to four kayaks with rental for $50 each per week.
Note: During summer months we only rent by the week. Saturday at 3pm to Saturday 10am.

Quiet place with a comfy vibe!

The Wolf Lake Cottage is conveniently located right across the path from the lake access. The neighborhood is quiet and family-friendly. The cottage is exactly what you might expect of a lake cottage and very well-appointed with all the tools and amenities you might need for a summer vacation at the lake. Nothing was missing! We especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch and enjoying the sounds and view of the lake. We also made trips to both Manistee (for golf) and Ludington for meals and to see the “big lake”. :) Thanks for sharing your place with us, Mark!

Perfect Cottage

Clean clean clean! Plenty of kitchen tools, all worked. We rented the kayaks and they were in great condition. Kids LOVED the firepit . Short walk to sandy beach. Would recommend. Host was attentive but not intrusive. We had a total blast.

cabin at wolf lake

We really enjoyed our trip to the cabin across from wolf lake. The amenities in the kitchen were plentiful and the open floor plan was enjoyable to visit with each other while we were cooking or washing dishes or watching tv. I thought the beds were comfy and the three fans were a definite thoughtful plus for me. The neighborhood was pretty quiet except for some atvs and gold carts going back and forth. The only thing I would add or bring is maybe some hot dog or marshmallow sticks for the fire. Fairly close to Ludington and Manistee for day trips, and the water was nice, not too cold or hot. I do have to mention, however, that the view of the lake must be a pretty old picture. The people across the street built a very large house with a cement driveway so the view is not the same as in the pictures, so I would suggest changing it. Oh yeah, the save a lot has a good grocery selection. If you want a couple things they don't have try the walmart while in Ludington. Our t mobile user in the group couldn't get service so plan accordingly.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is just as described. Very cute, comfortable, good size, nice location. It is directly across from a public access to the lake. The owner was easy to work with and responds quickly.

Michigan get away

Overall it was a fine experience. Pro's - Mark is very pleasant to work with. Quick to respond to my questions. There were a couple of inconsistencies within the VRBO posting versus the printed information we received. Mark clarified answers quickly. The corrections have been made in the current listing. *Perfect location for beach access-directly across the street. The beach area was clean/pleasant, (except for the construction noise-see below). *Kitchen is well stocked *Kayaks we requested were delivered prior to our arrival. Con: Main issue - the construction noise from a 2 story garage being built on the property directly across the street from the cottage. The hammering, etc occurred Monday-Friday starting around 8A and went thru early afternoon. This did not create the serene environment I was anticipating. I did inform Mark of the construction activity upon our return home. I would like to stay again, to enjoy the serene location

A nice “off the beaten path” small lake stay.

The space was charming. We had everything we needed to enjoy the outdoors and cook when we wanted to. The area was fairly quiet. We enjoyed the sandy public access and kayaking on the lake. The quiet, small and relatively shallow lake was perfect for an inexperienced kayaker! We enjoyed music in Baldwin, The Shrine of the Pines tour and day trips to Lake Michigan attractions including a sailing excursion in Frankfort and a day at the beach in Ludington!

This a very nice cabin. You get a great view of the lake. It was quite peaceful and a relaxing place

Due to my work schedule, we did not get to spend too much time in the cabin. We would surely like to be able to rent the cabin again when we are able to spend our time at the lake and cabin.

The cabin was clean & cleverly decorated - very cute. It is an older cabin, but it is well taken care of. It is stocked with kitchen equipment & there would be little else you would need. The owner was very communicative and easy to work with. We enjoyed the "Up North" feel. Their is a beach across the street at the public access. This access is sandy most of the way out & it's very shallow (no deeper than 10' in the center) perfect for kids. You can put a boat in at the same access, but it is not a good fishing lake - too shallow & not much vegetation. There is also a beach park down the road & it gets a little deeper. There is little to do in Baldwin, but there is an Ice cream shop & grocery. It is 50 minutes to the Lake MI beaches in Ludington. You are asked to clean quite thoroughly, so plan for a few extra hours to do that before you leave. We had a relaxing time. Thanks so much!

Best Family Vacation

We had an awesome time at the cottage. It was beautiful up there. I already miss it and can't wait to come back. The cottage was so cute, clean, and had more room than I expected. The lake it beautiful and clean. Such a great view from the cottage and lake access was right across the road. There were beautiful trails in the woods right down the road from us. And our kids were entertained the whole time. I recommend this cottage to anyone. You will have a wonderful time.

In love with this place!!!

We just loved our stay at your cabin. My husband and I brought our 2 teenagers to ride ATV's and we could not have been any happier. The cottage is so cute and clean, everything you could possibly need was there. The trails were beautiful, deff dusty due to no rain but just beautiful. We will be back next year and we are even thinking about a winter snowmobile trip. I can't wait to come back!!!! If you ever think about selling send me an email please =)

nice place

This cottage has everything you need! Spare pillows, clocks, flashlight, clicker for the grilles or the fire ring. We brought our two boys and rode atvs for four days.Cable t.v. has a ton of channels. There is plenty of room for six people. Although you are not right on the lake there is still a good view of it. Take it from me just bring your clothes and sheets because there is a Save a lot grocery and a dollar general on the north end of baldwin on 37. They are in the same building!! There is a gas station at the wolf lake turn off. Government lake lodge between baldwin and wolfe lake was our favorite restaurant, good food at a great price!Trails were very dusty and some of them were very narrow, not for a beginner.Tin Cup trail was a good wide trail. Atv only trails were the ones that were narrow. Nice clean cottage with a nice size yard at a very good price. I would come back again.

The view in the am was amazing. The house was cozy and a nice size for 4 adults, The fire pit was huge!!!!! oh and owner made us the best muffins. We were here first for the year!!! I rebook again for the 2011 may and recommended to friends!!!!
