Two Bedroom, Two bathroom condo on the second floor of a two story
complex. The condo is 1300 square feet. The complex has three large
pools. The condo complex is bordered by the ocean to the East and
the Halifax River to the West. The beach is a no drive beach and the
condo complex has a private access walkway to the beach. The beach
is directly across the street from the complex.
There are no buildings on the beachside of the street and no street parking.
The condo is above one of the 3 large pools in the complex.
The condo is next to a nature reserve and a boat ramp with charter fishing available.

some lights and overhead fan not working, curtans not shutting. Holes and painting needed in whole appartment. bed so high i had to jump to get into it. (im6.1) only 3 towels per bathroom for 4people.

Very nice place overall

The property was quite comfortable and very well equipped. The only downside was that it was a significantly longer walk to the beach than implied.

Away from the crowds

This condo was quiet, relaxing, away from the crowds but still close enough when we wanted to be tourists.

Comfortable

Very clean and comfortable! There is a little bit of a walk to the beach but once there it was very nice and hardly anyone else there.

First time on Atlantic Coast

Condo was very clean and well equipped. Had a couple of hiccups but host was very good about responding to issues. The Ormond Beach area has some good restaurants but is a pretty quiet area. All in all I would recommend the condo.

Ormand beach vacation

We enjoyed our time at the beach with this property! Loved the Margarita blender every day. Some construction going on downstairs and pretty noisy during the day. We were told 3 new queen beds and not what we had. Overall stay was great and made many memories.

Very relaxing time!

Had a great trip (even though the weather was kind of chilly and windy). Condo was very nice, as described and had additional items that made our stay more convenient (beach chairs, a cart and sand toys). It was a little bit of a walk to the beach but it was fine as we were looking for a value rental and this certainly met what we were looking for. Thanks!

Quiet Getaway

This area of Ormond is away from the madness that can be in Daytona, but close enough that you can be in the midst of bike week, spring break, etc in a few miles down A1A. The beach across the road from this unit is the best in the area. Great for walking, riding the waves, or building sand castles. We appreciated the well equipped unit - beach chairs, boogie boards, very high end appliances.

Very responsive owner

The condos in this complex were undergoing renovation while we were there, but the owner was quickly responsive to any issues that arose during our stay. The bedrooms were nice and the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms had been renovated. The kitchen and living room areas needed work, but they probably will be the next areas to be redone.

Great place; quiet neighborhood

Clean condo; had everything we needed. Super quiet condo complex with big clean pools. Easy walk to a quiet beach. If you want to be away from the chaos of the big vacation spots, this is the place you want to be. Try the ice cream parlor just down the street! Fyi- you do need to cross a two way 55 mph street to get to the beach access. Very little traffic, but important to know if you are walking over with littles in tow. Also, note that the bedroom with two beds in it has the attached bathroom. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely rebook.

Nice place

The room is wonderful. Beds are comfy and place is clean. Tv is confusing, we just watched Netflix the whole week. some of the other people that live there were always asking us who we were if we parked in a G parking place. our neighbor lady was very nice though. walk to the beach was a little more than I liked but it was not too bad. don is very nice and easy to deal with.

With minor attention to detail this condo could be really excellent.

Having read the "description" and the insistance of having additional insurance we were expecting a palace however the attention to detail by the owners agents and the general condition of the kitchen really lets it down.The owner by admission is not local and I guess can't inspect the quality of the condo turn around procedure.As a professional landlord in the UK, I passed to the owner some constructive feedback backed up with date coded photos if required, that he could pass to his local agent. This feedback was dismissed as me having too higher expectations.I believe that simple cleaning above the 5' eye level, replacing badly 'product stained sheets' and not doing basic maintenance like re-securing a loose towel rail by the agent is just shoddy workmanship.However, this did not distract from our enjoyment of staying here even when the complex water supply failed so we resulted to flushing "the can" using water from the swimming pool.

Quiet, pleasant, off the beaten track

Stayed in this property for 8 nights in early Jan, 2025. Our host was responsive and easy to contact. The condo complex (built in the 1970s) consists of multiple 2-story buildings and several pools. The rental unit is away from any traffic with a pool just a few steps away (there are stairs to get to this unit). The community access to the uncongested beach is about a 1/4 mile walk. There are multiple sliding glass doors throughout which provide great natural light and ventilation. There are only Juliet balconies, no screened porch (as seems to be pictured in the listing). The condo was quite clean but could use an update in kitchen cabinetry as they really show their age. The bathrooms have been nicely upgraded, which was a pleasant change from the photos posted. The ensuite room has 2 beds and that bathroom has a shower. The hall bathroom has a tub. Beds were excellent and very comfortable with a good range of extra blankets supplied. There is a stackable washer/dryer in the kitchen (this area looks a bit rough and is not enclosed by a door). Climate control by digital thermostat (we needed heat and A/C during our stay). TV worked well. Plenty of dishware and cooking equipment was supplied. We did not use the dishwasher. Vertical blinds need replacement as they were difficult to fully open/close and do not darken the bedrooms. Would stay again.

Quiet stay

The condo was really quiet and had mostly everything we needed. We basically had the pool to ourselves each time we used it. So that was really nice! The beach is a bit of a walk, so we just drove closer to the entrance and parked in guest parking since we had quite a bit of stuff to lug over to the beach with a little in tow!! The beach is across the highway, but it wasnt hard to cross as there is a crosswalk and the highway isnt terribly busy. The beach was basically empty when we went over. Which was also so nice. It wasnt crowded at all. Its a bit hilly, so its more difficult to walk, but its still a very nice beach! The condo has some beach necessities like an unbrella and a couple of chairs. There was a wagon there to use but we brought our own. We also had to bring our own beach towels which was kind of a bummer because they take up quite a bit of space in a suitcase. We also purchased sand toys and just left them there for another family to enjoy. The beds at the condo were comfortable. It was pretty clean, there was quite a bit of dust on the vents and what not, but nothing we couldnt live with. We struggled with the internet staying connected when we were in during the evenings and wanted to relax and watch TV. But, it wasnt the end of the world!! Overall, our stay was good! We would stay again!

Das Objekt war unsauber, mangelhaft in den Schränken, Maschinen und entsprach nicht den Bildern im Internet. Wir mussten die Küche reinigen und wohnlich gestalten. Die Spuren des Hurricans konnte man auf den Möbeln erkennen und in der Umgebung sehen. Baustelle vor unserem Fenster. Wir konnten den Pool gut nutzen und die Strandnähe war super.

Relaxing

This area was quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed that the beach was a few minute walk. Not to many people on the beach so it felt private. Will definitely come back to the area for future family vacation.

Very nice time!

The condo was pretty nice and relaxing. It does set back farther from the beach then what I expected and it could use a little updating but other than that it was a nice place to stay. The owner was great in keeping contact and responding back!

Weekend getaway with the grandkids

Donald’s property had the perfect sleeping arrangements for us. The pool area was beautiful and immaculately kept. It was a short walk to the beach which was very private. The condo is in a very quiet area yet close to all that Dayton Beach has to offer.

Kingston Condominiums

Overall great place to stay. The condominium complex is peaceful and quiet. The pool is literally out the back door. The beach is a short walk but worth the views. The beach is private so it’s definitely not crowded. The drawback is that the beach is a hill so it’s difficult for walking if you have leg, back, or hip issues. The condo itself is nice and would easily accommodate 6-8 people. Everything you need for your stay is provided. Just pack your clothes and personal items.

We had a wonderful trip! We stayed 2 weeks and loved it. We literally had the clean pool to ourselves and beach was almost empty. Everything we needed was there. Any questions we had were promptly addressed by owner. It’s a great place to stay!
