Good property, awful property manager

The property its as describe and its well maintain. The condo its big and the rooms have great space, and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal. The pool is clean, but is weird that there are only two assign chairs spaces that can be use, so if you travel with a group of people you will probably need to take your own beach chair to the pool area. The beach its a 7-10 minute walk, if you go with kids, better take your car as coming back there are small hills to walk and there is not a sidewalk. On the other hand, we had a bad experience with Corbi, the property manager. One day we left the keys of the condo on my sister's car. As we have two kids, and my sister was far, we called her to ask her to borrow a set of keys (we did not lost them) and she was upset because of that. We went to her house and there was a sign "Complaints department, for help push the red button", that red button was a mouse trap! Might be a joke but not a nice one if you have a complaint and you have to drive to her place for the problem to be solve. After that her attitude was odd. I texted her because internet was not working and she never responded. The day we left she even complaint because we asked her to open the gate of the condo, as she already had the control.

Great apartment!

Very clean and well equipped! Good location, close to beach. Very safe and lovely complex. Only minor issue was patchy Wi-Fi!

Ocean Breeze Condominiums is the place to stay in Playa Hermosa

Our host, Corby, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Our 3 bedroom unit in this gated & guarded complex was spacious (love the terrace), immaculate, and nicely furnished. The kitchen was well stocked with dinnerware, cookware and utensils. The bbq feature was appreciated. We’ll definitely go back!

Large condo/ Nice complex and pools

We really enjoyed our stay at Ocean breeze condominiums. The check-in was easy, the property manager met us at the property. For a few small maintenance issues throat or month-long stay, which result very quickly. The space itself is nice, and the kitchen well equipped. The condo was nicer than we expected given the pictures. The complex is also well-maintained we hadNo issues. There’s about a 5 to 10 minute walk to the beach, not the nicest walk down which would be the only downside. Great place overall

Best Family Vacation

Great for the whole family

This place was actually better than the photos. The condo was very well stocked with everything we needed. It was really nice having a washer and dryer available. The place was an easy walk to the store, beach, a few restaurants. We would stay here again!

Relaxing Family vacation

Ocean Breeze was a perfect place for a family vacation in Costa Rica. The condo was very clean, spacious and comfortable for our family of 4. We were met by Holly in the evening and she and her colleague were available during the stay. Wifi didn't work when we got there but was repaired very quickly. The beach was a short 5 minute walk. Playa Hermosa is a perfect beach for kids. There is very little current and very small waves. The kids played for hours in the ocean and then more hours in the pool at the condo. I also want to mention that Guillermo, the evening security guard, was very attentive and friendly. We definitely felt safe and secure at the condo. It was a fabulous place to stay and we would definitely come back!

Beautiful, well kept, safe, property at Playa Hermosa

We stayed at Ocean Breeze condos in late March 2018. It was our first time to Playa Hermosa. The property manager, Bahia Culebra Property Management (Corby), was very helpful advising us with good directions, maps, ideas for things to do and visit. The condo was spacious, clean, fully functioning, and very well provisioned. There were 6 of us, and there was lots of room for everyone, with nice space both indoors and outdoors. The property is gated with on-site security guards so we felt very safe. The pools and property was cleaned and cared for every day. The public beach was only a short and easy walk away. We visited other beaches, towns, and parks while staying at Playa Hermosa. This location is also only about 30 minutes from the Liberia airport, so pretty handy to get to. Playa Hermosa is quiet and not crowded, and no hustle-bustle like at the neighbouring Playa del Coco. We would definitely stay at Playa Hermosa or surrounding area again.

Perfect location very quiet and safe with great neighbors !

The manager Corby was extremely awesome ! She showed us aroud the condo and guided us on where to and where not to go around town. The beds were very comfortable and the condo itself was in really good condition. On the fist day we arrived, the A/C wasen't working proprely and within less than 24h, the problem was solved ! If you're looking for a quiet place to stay close to all amenties, this is the place to stay ! We've been on a 13 days journey and this place was our favourite ! Only thing I would suggest is to bring your own frying pan (s)... Every places we stayed, we had a hard time finding those non-stick pans... I guess they just don't exist in Costa Rica... Other than that, this condo has everything you need ! Thanks again for the awesome service Corby !

Wonderful holiday at Ocean Breeze!

This condo in Ocean Breeze was perfect for our recent family vacation to Costa Rica! The unit was clean, nicely decorated and stocked with everything we needed to make for the perfect home away from home. We were travelling with two young children (3 yr. and 5mon.) so the proximity to the pool, beach and convenience / grocery store couldn't have been better. The walk to the beach is about 5 minutes and if you go early enough you can see monkeys on the walk down. Playa Hermosa is a beautiful beach that was never crowded. We also did some day trips from the condo as it's in a great location for sightseeing as well. Holly and Corby of Bahia Culebra Property Management were great hosts. Our airport shuttle and car rental were all arranged prior to our arrival and they also offered suggestions on sightseeing. We would highly recommend Ocean Breeze and would definitely book this unit again.

This is a fine condo in Playa Hermosa.

This is one of the best condos we have stayed in. Close to the beach, grocery and restaurants. The condo is furnished in a basic but comfortable style. The other renters and owners are friendly and offer a lot of ideas for activities in the area. The Vista Ridge Golf course is 29 km away and is reasonably priced, which is important to me too. The property manager, Bahia Culebra is accessible and responds immediately to any problems, although this trip we didn’t have any.

Wonderful, peaceful place to stay

We stayed at Ocean Breeze for a week during the rainy season, but during the last part of July when the "little summer" happens. The condo was well-maintained, very clean, and a fantastic place for our family to stay while we explored the Guanacaste region. My kids loved Playa Hermosa, which is just a 5 minute walk down the road from the condo. It's also possible to visit other Guanacaste beaches without spending the entire day driving. Playa Panama and Playa del Coco are within 15 minutes, and you can also head over to the Tamarindo area about 90 minutes away for some amazing beaches. (I highly recommend Playa Conchal.) The proximity to the airport and Liberia was also something we greatly appreciated. We happened to be in Costa Rica for Guanacaste Day (July 25), when the region celebrates its annexation to Costa Rica from Nicarauga. We were able to make a 30 minute drive to Liberia and enjoy the wonderful parade, music, and festivities that are part of Tico pride. The Rincon de la Vieja national park is also within easy driving distance and has an outstanding easy hike that my 7 year old daughter and 10 year old son loved. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a quiet and secure base from which to explore Guanacaste.

Luxury in paradise

We arrived after 9:30 pm on Friday, March 8, 2013. Corby was there to meet us & let us into the condo. We had requested some groceries for breakfast & they were there on our arrival. Corby also helped us book our rental car. She gave us the name of a tour company that turned our to be great & had awesome small tours. The owner service for the condo was great. We went sailing, snorkeling, ziplining, horseback riding,saw the rainforests & saw lots of wildlife. We also enjoyed relaxing on the beach. There was not time enough to do everything we wanted to do. We were very glad we did not stay in Playa Del Coco, about 10 miles south, as it was a little too touristy for us. We loved Playa Hermosa as it was quieter & slower paced. The beach is beautiful & it was never crowded. We ate at several great restaurants. The condo is just as described. It is roomy & very comfortable. The kitchen is great & we did some cooking. The neighbors were all friendly & helpful. I would recommend this condo to anyone. Costa Rica is beautiful & there is something to do for everyone. Thanks for a wonderful trip.

Great Place to Stay!

We had a great stay here! It is clean, modern, large in size, and well equipped. We felt safe in the gated community and the neighbours were great too. This condo is in the perfect location to experience the best of Costa Rica, and Corby was very helpful with any questions we had. If you don't plan on having a car, you still have a grocery store and the beach within easy walking distance. We had a fantastic stay!
