Beautifully built in 'The Reserve' behind the Boyne Mountain Resort at the very top of the mountain. Last house at the top of the mountain.
"Walk" to the ski-down, to the end of the street and ski-in back to our street and then walk to home. the house is at the end of the street. Approx. 300 yards. Built near the Kitz warming cabin. Parking is also available at the Kits Warming cabin. The cabin is used by residents only, not renters. There is wireless internet in the home. Immaculate 6 bedrooms. (2) Master bedrooms with full baths.
Living room with plasma cable TV, VCR, DVD, gas fireplace, dining room seats 18. Large full kitchen, granite countertops and kitchen nook seats 8. Two car garage. 2,400 sq. ft. walkout with family room and gas fire place, plasma tv, pool table, giant connect 4 and foosball. Large bar for entertaining. Fire pit in back yard for camp fires. Master bedroom King w/ TV & bathroom. 2nd Master Queen w/ TV & bathroom, Queen bedroom with TV, 2 Full beds w/ TV. Two lower bedrooms, one sleeps 5 persons. One sleeps 4. Full and bunks.

Memorial Day Trip

My college friends and I get together every year for Memorial Day weekend and this place has been our favorite over the last 4 years! Perfect for large groups, golf & bonfires over the summer. The pictures on Vrbo don’t do this place justice!

wonderful place with everything you need!

We enjoyed our stay at the house, a group of 20. Hassle free check-in (some challenge parking if you have more than 6 vehicles!) Clean house, ambience was good, kitchen well furnished with crockery and utensils. Rooms cozy and comfortable. Basement has many activity options. Kids enjoyed every bit of it.

Beautiful location

The property is at the top of the mountain and the walking paths and disc golf course were such fun extra features. The layout worked well for multiple families and there was plenty of room for eating and lounging. The remoteness was also refreshing, but still have a cute farmers market nearby. The owner took care of a noisy water heater issue, which we appreciated. Only other issues were not enough toilet paper for twenty people for the week and there weren't many baking/cooking dishes for such a large group. Would totally recommend!

Just perfect

We had a great Father/son weekend, 4 dads and 4 sons, and this place was perfect. The space was great, and we had plenty of room. The dads each had their own room, and the boys stayed in one of the bunk rooms in the basement, which they loved. Access to Boyne was really easy and convenient. We just walked a short way down the road or path through the woods toward the warming cabin, put our skis on, and skied down Escape to Cold Springs. The way back was just as easy. We would absolutely stay here again. Thanks so much for a great weekend!

Weekend getaway

So glad we chose this property to have a weekend getaway with my family! Owners great with communication and met our every need! This massive home was comfortable, offered everything we needed including all cooking utensils and bakeware, towels, two coffee makers, grill and more! Super fun for kids with pool table, foosball, and ping pong. Loved the campfire at night. Great to also enjoy Boyne's amenities, including the spa and golf! A refrigerator in the basement with the bar would be an added benefit! Would definitely return!

Beautiful Home

Our large family enjoyed staying here. There were however pros and cons. The pros, basement is a great set up - wet bar, tv, fireplace, pool table, ping pong table. Plenty of room for everybody to hang out together. Kitchen is nicely stocked for everything you need to cook with (even a griddle!). The cons, that driveway is so steep. Very hard to drive trucks up and down and extremely hard to walk up and down with ski boots on. We had to salt it multiple times to keep it safe. The mudroom needs to be expanded, too small when you have 17 people with ski boots, helmets and such. The heating was confusing too for upstairs. I read directions but no matter what we did or set the thermostat at (68 was the lowest), we couldn't get the upstairs below 75. Bedrooms were an oven at night. The pilot light was out on the fireplace upstairs when we arrived so that never worked. The pros however out weigh the cons - just need to be aware of them.

Beautiful huge house perfect for a multiple family get away!

I can't say enough nice things about this property. First of all the owners are very responsive and super accommodating! We had four families coming up on a Friday but we are all teachers and found out we didn't have school Friday so I emailed Liz as soon as I found out and asked her about getting up there a night early. She responded quickly and we were able to head up a night early. When we got to the house it was very clean and had a ton of space! We had 4 families up to ski for the weekend and to watch the Superbowl. We went to the water park, skiing, casino and spent a lot of time right at the house. The kids loved that there were sleds in the garage and had a blast right in the yard with all the snow that was up there. When we got there we for sure thought we'd spend most of our time in the basement as the bar area is fantastic!! We quickly realized that it was a kids dream land so the adults hung out upstairs mostly but it was nice that the kids had their own area. Everything we needed was right at our fingertips from crock pots to casserole dishes to many pots and pans. The counter space was awesome as well. We LOVE the house and are already making plans to return. Thank you Liz and Antonio.

Skiing before Christmas

This cabin is incredible. Plenty of places for sleeping and playing. And even sledding in the backyard! We didn't even get to use all the amenities this place has. The owners we helpful and responsive to our many questions. The ski in/ski out is a little hard to understand. You have to walk a short distance to the private warming hut and then you can ski down Escape and then Cold Springs. However, we were there over Christmas and they did not have enough snow to make this viable until our last day. We were still dodging snow guns on the way down but it was doable. Even my 8 year old nephew could handle it. Make sure you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle and follow instructions where to park (down the street at the private warming hut) because the 6-8 inches of snow we got made it impossible to get up the driveway until the snow plow guy came (he came half a dozen times in a few days. was really a nice guy and made sure we were ok to get out). All in all a great place. Make sure you have all you need when you head there, it's not the best place for jaunts into town, but if you are looking for a family get-a-way, i highly recommend this house. No major complaints. Seriously, our biggest issue was the cooking knives could be sharper...but they still worked.

Excellent property and value. The reason for 4 out of 5 is because the host took a very long time to respond to any message. Also the window in one of the bedrooms didn’t close at all. I let the host know and they said “put a towel over it. Thankfully it was good weather so the temperature was ok but bugs did get in.

We know how much fun can be had on vacation, especially in a comfortable home. We often rent houses when we travel in the states and abroad. Homes like ours should be shared. We are unable to use the house as often as we should so thats why we decided to offer it as a rental.

Why they chose this property

The lot was was a challenge to build on and the driveway is quite steep. But being so close to the Kitz Cabin was the draw. Walking to the ski slopes and walk back to the house is easy. But you can always drive and park in the large parking lot. The perfect place to house large groups.

What makes this property unique

Our home is the perfect gathering spot. It's family friendly, with a lot of room to enjoy togetherness or to escape for a little quiet time. Enjoy all that the four seasons have to offer in Michigan. We have had many great times and have formed a lifetime of memories in our vacation home in Boyne Falls. We hope you will too!
