Nuestra casa está en el pueblo de Pentwater, Mi en un barrio muy tranquilo; ubicado a unas 8 cuadras del centro y otras 4 cuadras de la playa. Alquilamos semanalmente de viernes a viernes para que su fin de semana no se interrumpa, aunque también aceptamos estancias de 4 noches.

The Property owner had great communication and responded quickly to questions. Check in/out could not have been easier. The house was as described except the kitchen area was a nice surprise. It wasn’t included in the photos , but certainly should be. The only things that kept me from giving a five star review were: lack of curtains in the living room (which is considered a sleeping space) ; the washing machine needed a ratchet strap to keep the door closed; the backyard needs some TLC to make it friendly. There is a patio table & chairs in the driveway, which would be nice to have in the back of the house. It’s clear the owners are working on refreshing the house and updates. The location is ideal and makes for a quick trip to town or the lake. There is so much possibility with this location and definitely worth considering when you’re visiting Pentwater.

Great in the past, but this time disappointing

I have rented this darling house for 6 years for my son and his family, and it was always clean and pleasant for them. This year, there were many ants in the house; a cabinet door had fallen off, washing machine didn't work without a strap that held the door on; no window coverings on the large front window which faces a busy street; and art work visibly missing from walls. I paid 900 more than in previous years and expected better accommodations than were there. We would rent it again if we could be assured that the above items would have been addressed.

Quiet neighborhood and good location. 15 min walk downtown or 20 minutes walk to Mears State Park Beach. 5 minutes drive to the beach and free parking if you have a state park pass. Beds were comfortable. Couches are just ok—not the greatest for relaxing but you’ll likely be at the beach instead, right? TV has a fire stick so you can log into your streaming accounts easily. Nightlights would be helpful for kitchen and bathroom. Good amount of kitchen equipment, but bring kid friendly dishes and utensils if you need it. Bring food storage containers, too. Easy check-in process. Communication was timely. No AC, but we were lucky to have agreeable weather, and there were plenty of fans. And yes, you need to bring your own towels, sheets and pillowcases.

Lovely, clean, and close to everything!

We had a wonderful time and would defintley come back. Very roomy and within walking distance to downtown. Loved it!

Lovely and comfortable home

We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Grama’s house was clean, fresh, airy, spacious, and well supplied with appliances and kitchen tools. We were especially appreciative of the abundance of fans made available, including ceiling and in-window and box fans. We slept very comfortably due to the high quality mattresses and the refreshing air flow. Communication was responsive, pleasant, and accommodating. Will stay again!

Overall a nice stay. This house is as it says. It’s close to the town and beach. We love Pentwater, and if you are looking for a clean, close to action spot , this will work.

This house is perfect for my son, his wife, and their 3 children. It is 4 blocks from my house, so it is easy for us to be together every day. It was clean, and they liked the new furnishings.

Great house in an attractive and nice location.

All the information received was useful and accurate. In fact, the house was more than we expected, with more space and equipping than we thought we'd see. The location was perfect - away from the crowds yet totally in range by bike or on foot. All in all, this was a great experience.

No, Towels, Bed sheets, Pillow cases??

Yikes! No, Towels, Bed sheets, Pillow cases?? Din't find out they weren't provided until we arrived...not listed in the listing as items not provided or needed to bring. Q size beds, if you don't have that size you may need to buy some. No stores in Pentwater that we found sells bedding. We've stayed at many vacation homes & all of them provided towels & bedding? We were able to drive to the managers house to get some, but it was a bit of an unexpected hassle. The house does have a musty odder inside, my guess, it's coming from the crawl space below the house?? An air freshener could help until it's fixed. Overall we enjoyed the Pentwater area, & weekend getawy.

Just ok

Grammas house has its challenges. One bedroom (queen) was very musty smelling so we couldn’t use it. The pull out sofa has about a 3inch thick uncomfortable mattress. We found the bathroom sink drained very slow The website says there is a hair dryer but there is not. We enjoyed the location, yard, fire pit. Right after we left the owner sent a text that my credit card would be charged for a broken lamp-$200!! Nothing happened to the lamp while we were there. She did reimburse me after her housekeeper informed her it was broke weeks before Also, be aware of the extensive charges for service -?, owner fee-?, cleaning fee, taxes. It was costly for the conditions

Stay at Gramma's House

There were a good amount of things that were found out after we booked - had to provide sheets, paper products. When we arrived, there were things that were broken & not working, or couldn't find certain items. When trying to contact owner, they were not prompt to returning my call (next day). The house was also damp & had a musty smell. Positive - the shower had great pressure & was really warm!!

Comfortable and Clean.

The property is in a great location. Upon arrival the home was clean neat orderly. The home is stocked with a good assortment of kitchen equipment and utensils. The bed was comfortable, the neighborhood quiet and the shower had plenty of hot water. If you travel with your dog there’s a small fenced area off the kitchen. There also is a school at the end of the street to go for a morning walk. All in all it provided us a pleasant stay in a safe comfortable home.

Spacious, comfortable cottage with nice backyard.

I stayed in the house with my two daughters and two grandsons. There was plenty of room for everybody. We especially liked the spacious dine-in kitchen because we mostly stayed in for meals and even invited company over a few nights. We also enjoyed the fire pit in the back yard which was great for wiener roasts. The washer and dryer worked well. The only disappointment was that the house was not as clean as I would have liked it to be. The floor needed a good mopping and the bedrooms were a bit musty. My family isn't super picky about cleanliness so we weren't too bothered by it. I do think we left the house in better condition than we found it in. The beds were comfortable and the sleeper sofa was functional. The shower was nice and hot. I think the price was great (less expensive than staying in a hotel). I would stay there again.

Summer Weekend Getaway

Very cute, clean house in a quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to charming downtown Pentwater. Loved all the unique shops and dining options. My only suggestion is to replace the clothes dryer and make it more user friendly.
