This brand new listing is a two story custom built 1BR/1.5 BA condo/townhome located in the heart of the downtown Santa Barbara shopping district and walking distance to the Stern's Wharf. The location is amazing but the condo itself is what has all our guests coming back! Our condo is part of a luxurious five-unit development that was recognized as "2009 Project of the Year" by the National Association of Home Builders. Our tranquil condo is warm and bright, with a unique modern style. The first floor of the condo is the master bedroom which has a deluxe king bed, a high-end master bathroom, and a private porch area. The porch area is surrounded by a high privacy fence and plenty of shade from the encircling trees. When you travel up the stairs you will be astounded by the spacious feel with an open kitchen, dining, and living area. The high vaulted ceilings and natural light makes this room feel larger than life. It is the perfect space for entertaining guests or just a romantic evening. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. We love cooking on our stainless steel Energy Star appliances by Electrolux. Our unit meets all the requirements of a LEED certified Platinum Level and is three star Built Green Certified. We really appreciate the fact that our unit is Built Green and is environmentally friendly--from the landscape designed to reduce the excessive water usage, all the way up to the cross ventilation from the strategically placed windows.

Best Place to Stay in Santa Barbara

Just completed our second stay at La Casa and it was better than the first. What impressed us most were the changes made over the year -- furniture and linens refreshed, dishware and glasses added. Housekeeping is impeccable. It is clear the property is a well-managed investment... not simply someone's rental.

The West Beach location cannot be beat. TIP: Check the tide tables. At low tide, it is possible to walk the full distance between Leadbetter Beach and Hendry's Beach. Wonderful views in both directions!

Wonderful Condo

Another fabulous holiday at this great place. The condo is well furnished and equipped and Reyne has added some lovely decorative touches. It is a very comfortable place to stay. We loved cooking in the well designed kitchen and on the gas barbecue and sitting out on the balcony or the lovely little patio downstairs.

The best thing though is the location, which couldn’t be better. You are in easy walking distance to several beaches, the harbor, Stearns Wharf, the Funk Zone and Lower State Street. There are lots of great restaurants and wine tasting places too. A little further afield and you can explore Montecito, Summerland and Carpenteria or drive over the mountains to Los Olivos and Solvang.

Reyne is a great host and PJ is on hand to help with any queries. All in all, a wonderful base for your Santa Barbara holiday.

We loved it!

La Casa is fantastic! My daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The town home is so comfortable, clean, well designed and beautifully decorated. The high end appliances and fixtures, the comfortable beds and ideal location made us feel we were on a luxury vacation. P.J. was very welcoming and quick to respond to any questions. We hope to stay at La Casa next time we visit the area!

Great location close to beach, dining and shopping. Very nicely furnished and decorated unit with everything needed provided. Area does get noisy at night.

That said, I apologize for the noise that you may have encountered during your stay. I've been traveling for over 40 years and there isn't anything more irritating than hearing noise when you want- quiet. I totally get it! On the up side--similar to hotels- the city of SB has a disturbing the peace ordinance. Thankfully in two years plus of owning LaCasa no guest(s) (including me) has had to "play that card." Typically the area (west beach), and this particular street, is known for it's quiet surroundings. I do apologize again for the minor disturbance. Reyne

A+ Accomodations

This property is outstanding and so was our experience staying there. When we arrived the home was spotless and exactly as described. Every appliance was in working order. The kitchen was very well equipped and a joy to cook in. The garage provided extra storage space and security. We found ourselves enjoying the open air and breezes wherever we sat in the home. We entertained several times and the dining room space was comfortable for a group of 6. The location is incredibly convenient but was never noisy. We are so grateful for P.J. and Renée's hospitality and professionalism. We are ready to plan our return!
