Kure View #333 features decks from every bedroom, a master bedroom with private bath, a well-appointed kitchen with large pantry, a washer/dryer unit and a ground floor TV room opening onto direct pool access. The Beacon sports wireless internet, TVs in every bedroom and multiple DVD players. Along with a parking pad, the home has a garage to facilitate packing and unpacking in all weather and to protect wandering kids while doing the same.
We are a West Virginia family used to friendly, hard-working people and Kure Beach has become our home away from home. WIth Dad, Mom and 2 sons, we love to spend time together walking along the beach, playing games and watching movies.
Beth purchased this townhome in 2015
The Beacon at Kure View is directly across from beach access and the beginning of the boardwalk. It is an end-unit townhouse in a small 8-unit complex on a large corner lot and only 3 short blocks from the pier and great restaurants. We've really tried to make it a home, with good furniture and a well-appointed kitchen. Unlike many beach towns, Kure Beach is fortunate to have escaped over-development and has remained a small, family-oriented town. There are no high rises, few hotels, no fast food restaurants and none of the carnival-like atmosphere that you find in many beach towns. Carolina Beach, with which Kure shares Pleasure Island, has all of those and many more attractions a couple of miles up Fort Fisher Blvd. Although the beach at Kure Beach is public, you'll find it much less crowded than most beaches. The town does have some great local restaurants and an awesome pier. After many years of saying "we ought to buy a home here" we finally did. Mom is a breast cancer survivor, so we decided that there is no time like the present to make that goal a reality. The Beacon is near every creature comfort needed, but remains a quiet, homelike sanctuary at the end of a full day. Right next to the beach, but in a private setting, the townhouse calls us home as a Beacon of Hope and Light. We hope it will be your Beacon, too.
The Beacon at Kure View is approximately 3 miles from the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher, the Fort Fisher Historic Museum and the Fort Fisher Recreation area. The Beacon at Kure View is 3 blocks from the Kure Beach Pier, its restaurants and the Kure Beach pavilion, all of which are safely walkable from the boardwalk across the street.
