Wonderful River Stay

We had a magical weekend on the river. The house was clean, cozy, and well stocked and had everything we needed for biking and spending time on the water (three bikes, three kayaks, and two great paddle boards).

This house is beautiful! Great location, you can walk or paddle to Swampy’s for a wonderful meal or drinks on the water. Loved the deck, so peaceful. The host provides everything you need, kayaks, paddle boards and some tubes for a casual float. Can’t wait to return.

Location is perfect.

The house is located right on the Rainbow River. My daughter learned to paddleboard and she's already asking how soon we can go back. We fished and kayaked as well. The early morning river had so much wildlife. The house had plenty of room, a well appointed kitchen and plenty of towels. We would definitely stay here again.

Rainbow River Magic

A wonderful location and host. Dale (host) was the most accommodating person we’ve ever rented from. We truly enjoyed the use of the kayaks and paddle board. The icing on the cake was when Dale took our family on a guided trip around the area on his pontoon boat. We will go back.

Relaxing fun on the river

What a blast we had staying here! The location was great and it was was walking, floating, or paddling distance to Swampy’s restaurant. The place was equipped with 4 kayaks, 2 stand up paddle boards, a canoe, and some floats. The backyard deck was the perfect quiet and relaxing hangout. The actual house was very spacious with plenty of room to spread out and not feel cramped. And as most of the other reviews stated, Dale was a great host! We will definitely be staying here again.

Great house by the rainbow river

Property was better than described. Even more fun activities were available. Our host, Dale, was a great guy. Very friendly. He gave us a pontoon ride up the river so that we could float back on the provided tubes. The kayaking was very enjoyable. We saw a lot of birds an even a few alligators. We highly recommend this house.

Spacious and peaceful

We enjoyed our stay and there are several areas to gather (porch, sunroom, deck, living room, etc.). The kitchen could use more utensils but is spacious and well appointed. Most of the beds are very comfortable except the Murphy bed. The furnishings and master bathroom Are dated, but when going to a river house you are looking for quaint and not modern. We really enjoyed our stay and time on the river.

House was in a quiet neighborhood, Used the paddleboard and kayaks. How is a bit dated but comfortable. Kitchen supplies could have been better. Hand can opener did not work and a few more items for on top or to bake items in stove would be helpful. Grill worked fine. Dale came and introduced himself which was nice. Plenty of room for 6 adults

Awesome Vacation

Me and my family had the best vacation, ever! We can’t wait to go back. Our host, Dale, was over-the-top awesome! He made our stay so welcoming and relaxing. His home was immaculate and had all the amenities you could possibly need. We had the use of 3 kayaks, tubes, noodles, gas grill, bicycles, pool table, board games, lots of TVs (we hardly used the TVs) cuz there was so much to do. He had everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and the bathrooms. Lots of towels and…you name it…he had it, you really just need to bring clothes and whatever food you like. We didn’t want to leave. We can’t wait to go back.

This house was awesome! Very clean, well equiped, roomy, comfy, cozy. We put our kayaks in at the Rainbow River State Park and spent 5 hours paddling down to the dock at this house where we got out and grilled and enjoyed all the games and amenities here. Good restaurants close by. Will stay here again for sure!

Great getaway

We couldn’t have been happier or more well treated. Dale provided us with a beautiful home with a dock and kayaks. Stopped by to be sure we had everything we needed. Even came around and took all of us on a boatride up and down the river! Only there a few days but it felt like we rented from an old friend.

We had a great time on the rainbow River the house had everything we needed for preparing meals it was a great experience for the family. Fishing off the back dock we caught lots of little fish bluegills.

INCREDIBLE River house!

We had the Best time here and Dale was a generous and thoughtful host! This house had everything we needed and more from paddleboard to kayaks to games and kitchen essentials. The view from the deck was lovely and we enjoyed our evenings staring into the crystal clear water watching the fish and otters go by. We enjoyed floating in the tubes provided! We highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back!
