Normal nightly rate is $279. The new rate for this period of time would be $167.40 per night and that includes golf cart usage FREE, along with kayaks, boogie boards, and paddle boards.

ABOUT OUR LOCATION: Our home, "Seas The Day" is the ultimate canal home in the premier West End community of Jamaica Beach. The location gives it the added benefit of having a breeze on the large covered deck no matter which direction the breeze flows. There is a fan on the deck to insure the air keeps moving to add to your comfort level. We are on a corner canal, If you have a boat,or toys, launch them just across the canal at the marina and tie up in our covered boat slip during your stay. We have lots of open space around us, across are vacant lots and on the one side next to us is a vacant lot, and we are at the end of cul de sac, so plenty of privacy, Sunrise is awesome view, and don't miss the gorgeous bay sunset simply by turning your chair around. The beach is less than a mile from our home. You can load up your vehicle and in Texas, are allowed to park on the beach. Or take the golf cart, equipped with fishing pole holders and a cooler. A bird sanctuary is just off Bob Smith Drive.... more open space! There is a side yard with grass for playing games.

OUTDOOR LIVING: Wrap around deck is the utmost in extra living space, table chairs, fan, lounges, and another set of chairs and small table. Electric BBQ Grill all on the deck. Big Plus..... Sitting at the Pub height table on the deck allows you to look OVER the railings. Your view of the scenery is not impaired by the railing bars. Fish from the upper deck or lower deck. Some fishing gear is included,Poles equipped with bells so you can put in pole holders and hang out by the Tiki Bar and wait for bells to ring to alert you have a bite on your line. Lower living space has chairs, tables, swing and rocking chairs.

TOYS: If you like the water, there are boogie boards, paddle boards, and surf board, as well as kayaks for your use. Two fishing poles with some fishing gear included. Pole holders on the railings make fishing easy.

SAFETY: It is fenced on the lower level ,because we are located on the main canal as well as the Tahiti Way canal, we want to assist you in looking out for children around water,so we provide you locks to several gates.

INSIDE THE HOME: , A fully stocked kitchen, makes it easy to enjoy cooking and cleaning up with a dishwasher, full size stove and microwave/convection oven combination. Bring your special coffee and tea pods for the Keurig. We provide regular coffee, condiments, spices, paper goods to get you started. Lots of windows equals lots of light and full views from the open living area. Table in the kitchen area and pub height table in the living area, allows for views of the 3 canals while dining or playing games. The living area has a large comfortable sofa, 60" TV and PS 3 set up. Two small children could sleep on the sofa. Or use the 18 "air beds.. Two bedrooms have comfortable queen beds and dresser and amoires. Our Home is best used by a small family or 2 couples.... however, the maximum capacity is a family of 6. Sleep on the oversized sofa or we have 2 "Serta" 18" Airbeds. Each bedroom has a TV with a DISH box, and window air conditioner as well as ceiling fan, to regulate your comfort level for sleeping.The window a/c units are in addition to central a/c. In the master bedroom a door to the deck provides a nice place to have morning coffee or evening glass of wine. A small bath with shower is located off the Captains Quarters. That bath also has a hall entrance. The main bath has a larger shower and a washer/dryer combination. Hair dryers in each bathroom.

MORE OUTDOOR LIVING: The lower expansive deck space has a swing and out door shower. There is a sink and toilet in the storage room. Relax in the shaded area and that wonderful gulf breeze.

DINING SHOPPING: Our neighborhood is at the end of a cul de sac.... we have a wrap around deck for our wrap around canal location. Quiet, serene setting, offering nice privacy. Yet it is close enough to a couple of good nite spots, Woody's and Nate's. Islands best Hamburgers at the Blue Water Grill, plus they deliver, and you can B. O. B. and eat in. If you are in a hurry 'Subway' is close. Mario’s Pizza, is at Pirates Beach back towards Galveston. On Weekends there is a shrimp speciality food truck close. Gas station, Bait shacks, hardware stores with fishing gear, grocery, and liquor stores are in

the main road shopping areas.

DIRECTIONS: If you can, fly into Houston Hobby.... exit the airport onto the Gulf Freeway heading south. It is also Hwy 45. Exit at 1A, turning right onto 61st Street. Follow 61st Street to Seawall Blvd, turn right and head out FM 3005 (San Luis Termini Road) towards Jamaica Beach... soon you will be home for your vacation...

About Jeannine

Our family purchased this home early spring of 2015. Children and Grandchildren have enjoyed the water toys, and we love the views and openness of the area. Quiet friendly neighborhood has proven to be a real plus.

We own a place in Breckenridge, CO for the winter sports enthusiasts and now the beach property gives us year round family fun.

Set up for a family to enjoy...... we want you to be comfortable, have enough toys for you to have fun, and have a memorable vacation.

When you are purchasing a property for family fun..... everyone has their preferences.... must be on the water, must be able to fish from deck, must have kayaks to go out to bay, must have boards for going to the gulf, must be safe for small children, must have must have.......... we think we met everyone's needs. What makes this house unique

Fenced area, gates with ability to lock..... we want to help parents keep their children are safe and secure while enjoying all our place has to offer.

Being in the location we are, we get the breeze from almost every when you want to enjoy the deck. We have Pub Height tables so you are looking 'over' the railing.... not through the railings. so much to see...........

Because our living area and deck are on the open sides of the canals, you have a nice amount of privacy and openness.

With the home almost surrounded by canals, you can consider your play area or yard is endless!

  • In the main bathroom is a clothes steamer. Each bathroom has a hairdryer. On the lower level is a storage room which houses a sink and toilet. In the back of the home is an outdoor (with door) shower. If you are fishing downstairs, or come up from the beach, nice to be able to wash up and/or shower before going upstairs to the living quarters. Towels are furnished for each upstairs bathrooms..... and should remain upstairs. You are encouraged to bring your own beach towels.

  • Both bedrooms each have a ceiling fan along with window air conditioner, in addition to the central air conditioning. Each room can be programmed to the occupants sleeping preference. Each bedroom has a flat screen TV with a DISH Box for 250 channels. Plus, you have comfy beds!! The Master Bedroom, has a bath attached. The guest bedroom uses the main bathroom, next door in the hall. There are two 18" air beds for the young ones.

We so much Loved Our stay with the Cozy atmosphere and comfortable Living House with the "Best of All Best". We enjoyed being with close Family and reconnecting with time . Exactly as advertised

The property was nice, clean and very well represented. Lots of outdoor patio and decks with the house being on a corner lot. This house includes a lot of extras such as kayaks, boogie boards and golf cart. I would recommend to anyone who Is looking to get away and relax on the water.

Perfect for people who want to stay on canal and fish in the bay. Very nice having a boat slip (place to store boat trailer would have been even nicer).

We are located approx in the middle of the Island. You can go into Galveston for art shows and a special theme park, Moody Gardens, which has something for the whole family. There is a 'pleasure pier" with rides and games and food! Visit the harbor for dining and walking around The Strand to shop.

From Galveston, 61st Street, cross the bay towards the mainland on Hwy 45 and the Outlet Shopping is on your left!
