Charming cottage directly on the St. Lawrence River in Fishers Landing, NY with a 30ft private dock. Featuring amazing sunset views from the closed-in porch. Enjoy the summer and bring your boat to the heart of the 1000 Islands.

Two bedrooms, one bathroom, fully equipped kitchen.

Absolutely love this cottage except for the cleanliness. It needs to have a deep clean and refresh. Unfortunately, there was dog hair throughout the house and spider webs all over in just about every corner. There is a wonderful view with all the windows but they looked as if they have not been cleaned in a very long time. This cottage is perfect for us but not so sure we could go back unless it was cleaned better.

Nice but need to fix details

Great view of the water from the back. The front of the cabin is less scenic. There is a dumpster and some storage lockers as well as a view of the restaurant side door. Overall it was nice but there were lamps with missing bulbs, broken fridge handle and the water heater malfunctioned at least one day leaving us with no hot water that night. Most of these can be easily fixed but I don’t think the turnaround cleaning crew does it. The ceiling fan light was supported by its electrical wires which would be easy to fix. Understand that there is really no swimming area since getting back up on the dock is difficult since there is no ladder from the water. Again, an easy thing to fix if you want. The water view is great. You may hear customers in the restaurant if they are seated outside. Though not bad, if you prefer privacy you may not appreciate it. The caretaker was quick to respond to my inquiries so no problem with that.

Nice stay, but...?

We really enjoyed the layout and location of this property, the docking was excellent, the views were impeccable, your right on the waterway and can watch wildlife, barges, boats, wave runners and even kite surfers. The house itself was bigger than the pictures showed and the layout was good. The sunroom and the shower were not as clean as expected, hair ball in the shower drain and garbage(soap and empty shampoo bottle) left behind in the shower, sunroom had literal garbage on the floor and the futon was filthy with dog hair and visible dander. The windows and screens were dirty and the sills had spider webs and filth. I contacted the manager and she offered to send a cleaning crew to fix things, but we were already on our vacation and didn't want to be interrupted. There was no offer of returning our cleaning fee which was disappointing. We left the property cleaner than we found it. We would however try this place again.

Perfect Spot

The Cottage was clean and perfect for our Family Celebration. 3 Adults stayed comfortably. The view of the St. Lawrence from the Front was spectacular!!!

Pleasant, comfortable. Great porch with wonderful views of the river, the shipping channel and - oh my! - the sunsets. We stayed here 18 months ago, this trip and would happily stay again !

Wonderful Week

We enjoyed our beautiful week at the house. Had the perfect view, peaceful, relaxing week. Everything was perfect about it well except it was to short. House had everything we needed. We booked for next year before we even left. Peter was great and very responsive. Can’t wait to go back.

Great house and location

This house was a great location located right on the river close to a public boat launch and a restaurant right next door which was really convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it is a perfect place to stay for a fishing trip. Plan to rent again in the future!

Amazing stay

This property was beautiful, and even more spacious than it looks in the pictures. It accommodated our group activities perfectly. The owner was extremely helpful and responded very quickly. I’d go back in a heart beat.

Great Vacation rental on the Water

The location of the rental was perfect. We loved the screened in porch. We loved watching the boats go by and having a great view of the beautiful Saint Lawerence River.

What a view!!!!

My sister and I planned now our 3rd trip to the cottage and were very pleased with the hosts response time and friendliness as well as the PERFECT location! If you are looking for the perfect view, stay here. There are scattered islands in front of the cottage, plenty of "big ships" passing through the seaway and the bridge at night. The dock and swimming area kept the kids busy all day and there is plenty of places to tie off a boat and kids kayaks. We even kayaked to the little island out front and explored all day. Thanks again for a great place to stay!

Lovely cottage

Cottage is very comfortable and centrally located between Alex & Clayton. The living spaces are open and well furnished with plenty of chairs, couches, pillows, etc. We loved sitting on the enclosed porch with the windows open to hear the River lap against the dock and watch its changing nature. Being unable to reach our property on the Canadian side has been really tough…this gave us the River fix we so desperately needed!

Great location

Peter was timely and helpful with responses. The house is very comfortable and well appointed. Loved the 3-season porch, the fire pit by the water and the large kitchen table for games and meals together. The view is fantastic. We would highly recommend staying here!

Nice waterfront property

Holiday weekend was very busy at Foxy's restaurant right next door. You almost had to fight to keep your parking space. Very beautiful view from closed in porch.

71st Birthday get away!

Good friends joined us for my husband’s 71st birthday weekend. We had such a wonderful time at the lake house! Loved sitting on the dock during our Happy Hours. And the fire pit was wonderful. The house was clean and just perfect for us! Would definitely come again! Thank you!

Perfect location

We had a girls weekend here and we all agreed that this was going to be our new spot! It slept 5 girls comfortably, nice dining area that we could share a meal together and well as the living room. The porch has a beautiful view to the water and a great place to wake up and have your coffee. It comes with dishes, linens, and a fire pit! The dock it where we spent most of our time sunbathing and even did a yoga morning session! It has the perfect swimming cove, but bring water shoes! We took full advantage of that with rafts and even had friends come over and dock their boat up to our place. Perfect location to get away but being close enough to Clayton or Alexandria bay for shopping, lunch and dinner or the night llife!

Very nice location

Situated directly next to Foxy's restaurant we were able to walk to dinner when not eating in. Also 1/2 way between Alex Bay and Clayton. The dock is protected and the view from the porch allows for a vantage point to watch the freighters pass by.

Perfect getaway

Booked the cabin for a few days of fishing and relaxation for our 28th anniversary. Very comfortable with a beautiful view of the river. Conveniently located next door to the property manager and his restaurant. Loved the dock for my boat, and really loved the master bedroom; dark and good AC. Manager was very helpful and a nice person. You never know sometimes when renting cabins but this one is great. Definitely want to rent again.

Wonderful experience overall!

FANTASTIC! We rented this house for a few days in July. It was absolutely fantastic! The owner was very accommodating and responsive. The house is beautiful. It's very clean and very comfortable with plenty of room and extra spaces for sleeping. The kids all slept on the front porch and LOVED IT! The swimming area was seaweed free, clean and shallow in between the dock and wall (2-3 ft deep) and about 10-12 feet deep of the side of the dock. The kids were fishing and jumping off the dock all day long every day that we were there. The boat traffic in front of the cottage was very light. We (kids also) kayaked to the islands in front of the cottage and snorkeled all around them. The neighborhood was quiet and we took a lot of walks down the road. The marina is very close and renting a boat would be extremely easy, as well as Foxy's Restaurant, which we ordered pizza from one night. (Tasty) Overall, it was our best rental experience in the 1000 Islands.
