The Clearwater Cabin is an absolutely wonderful retreat. While conveniently close to the main road, it is truly private- just you, the cows, and the crawdads. During our late summer visit we were perfectly cool and comfortable both indoors and out, even with temps in the 90s. The cabin is well stocked

We're so glad the Clearwater Cabin gave you the private, peaceful retreat it's meant to be! It's wonderful to hear you stayed cool and comfortable indoors and out even with the summer heat, and that the cabin had everything you needed. Thank you for sharing your experience with the cows and crawdads!

Rented the cabin for a long weekend and absolutely loved it. The cabin is was so cozy and it has everything. We loved the gas fireplace to warm up in the evenings. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a huge shower. The kitchen had everything you could need. The highlight was being outside, lounging in the hammock with the river just feet away. Our dogs loved going for walks along the river trails or even up the country lane to visit the farm animals. Craig was so kind and responsive and made our trip easy. Would highly recommend it.

We're so glad you loved the cabin! It sounds like you made the most of everything, from cozy evenings by the gas fireplace to relaxing in the hammock by the river. We're happy to hear the dogs enjoyed the river trails and the walk up to visit the farm animals too, and that the kitchen, bed, and shower all worked out well for your stay. Thank you for the kind words and the recommendation!

I loved this place I needed to get away and have some time alone. This place was just what I needed. The fire pit outside was perfect and the stove inside was perfect on a cool fall evening.

The cabin was super cozy! The gas heater was such a great added touch! It stayed warm and toasty inside while it snowed outside! The bed was super comfortable & I really loved the spacious shower! Very secluded! Perfect for a low key getaway from the hustle and bustle of every day life!

I agree with the other reviewers- this place is outstanding. I would love to return to see it in all four seasons! We loved sitting on the porch and watching the creek roll by during a thunderstorm. The two bedrooms downstairs are lovely, and I also found the futon very comfortable to sleep on.
