Welkom bij Main Street Cottage! Het is een heerlijke plek om te pauzeren en van het leven te genieten met de mensen van wie je houdt. Het staat centraal in de beste Amish Country-haltes. Gelegen tussen Lehman's Hardware en Berlijn.

Loop door de straat naar onze lokale supermarkt voor levensmiddelen, de Red Tomato. Of stap in de auto en bezoek Lehman's Hardware, uitgeroepen tot beste bestemming in Amish Country.

Begin je dag met het heerlijke buffet bij Mrs. Yoder's Restaurant in Mt. Hoop. Of ga de andere kant op en geniet van een aantal goede Amish-gerechten bij Amish Door in Wilmot.

Rijd 10 minuten verder naar het dorp Berlijn, waar tientallen pop-upwinkels en winkels met een rijke Amish-cultuur te vinden zijn. Breng de dag door met bladeren door de quilts van Helping Hands, de ambachten van Sol's Palace en de snuisterijen van Lena's House. Sluit de dag af met een wereldberoemde taart van Boyd & Wurthmann!

Beautiful home. Very clean and inviting. Tons of "extras" were provided and very much appreciated. By far the most accommodating place I've ever stayed in. Will definitely be staying here anytime we come to stay in Amish Country.

Girls Trip

We stayed for our annual girls trip. The house is just as the pictures show. Plenty of room for everyone. On the main road, so a little noisy, but not terrible. Sonya was very easy to communicate with and responded very quickly.

Amish country get away

We had a marvelous time, the house was furnished with everything that we could possibly have wanted, Interaction with the host was great, very responsive very timely.location was perfect for day trips, very relaxing very calm beautiful area, great getaway. Will definitely be back .

Amish country trip for my family

This lovely home was the perfect place for us to stay on our trip to Amish country! My elderly parents enjoyed staying here as well as myself and my sister. It had plenty of room for all of us and met all of our needs. The back yard is so pretty and spacious as well. The host was fantastic and answered all of our questions or concerns very quickly. Would definitely stay here again!!

fun, clean, and lots of room

This was the 2nd annual get together with my sisters. This home was clean, plenty of room for all 4 of us. If I had to criticize I would ask for a colander and a full length mirror. It was a fun time, close to all the places we wanted to go, it was comfortable and we would go back.

Amazing place

We travelled to Ohio for a wedding! When we pulled up the house was so cute!! Upon entering it was absolutely adorable. There were lots of fluffy towels. Everything was clean. We absolutely loved it all. The neighborhood was super quiet. I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone who wanted to stay in this area.

We had a fine stay. The house was as described. It was pleasant and nicely appointed. The kids enjoyed playing on the piano. We all enjoyed hearing the clop, clop of the horses pulling buggies each morning and evening.

Great location in Amish country

The house was clean with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and all the amenities you'd expect from a vacation rental. It's very close to both a gas station and a grocery store. Berlin is about 15 minutes away, but I would still recommend this house if that's your main destination. The drive there is beautiful and lets you see a lot of countryside.

I asked my daughter how the accommodations were. She said when you walk in it smells of mildew and in the morning moisture was running down the windows. She suggested using a dehumidifier. Otherwise she loved the shower and her bed was very comfortable.Thanks

Cozy and Beautifully Decorated Home

House was lovely and beds comfy. Had everything we needed for our weekend stay while visiting the area for a wedding. Host was wonderful and responsive with any questions I had. House was clean and adorable! Highly recommend!

It was a good location for us because we had to drive to Creston Ohio for a conference. You see lots of Amish buggies go by. House is on the main road so you do have road noise . To owner-- there is an issue with gnats in the house . The remodeling of an older house to modern was very good .

Holmes County Girls’ Trip

The house was very well equipped with kitchen needs. The beds were comfy and everything was clean. A little noisy on the Main Street, but we enjoyed the clip- clop of the horses going by. Sonja was quick to respond to questions. We enjoyed our stay in Holmes County!

Nicely remodeled but could use some help

House smelled musty and moldy. Had a lot of nats. My white socks were dirty walking on the floors. They did supply needed items. Trash bags, dishwasher tabs and laundry soap.

Not worth the price

Property was not worth the price. It was a old house that had some updates. The closed in front porch was nasty. The door to the outside didn’t even have a lock which left us very insecure. The road noisy was listed in description. The lights from the vehicles was really a problem for the master bedroom. I would suggest getting room darkening curtains. The upstairs bedroom you could see the red light lights flash all night. The coffee pot wasn’t very clean. We didn’t even want to use it. We went to gas station and got coffee every morning. They was also mouse droppings in the drawers of the kitchen. Just wasn’t worth the money.

Quaint Amish home

Very neat and clean home, decorated so beautifully! Very thoughtful with all the amenities 🥰 Close to all we wanted to see! My favorite was the horse and buggies on the back roads ! Love the clip clop of the horses 🐎

Ladies Getaway

We had an Amazing stay! A very nice and exceptionally clean place. Loved the kuerig and kcups available. The big table in the dining room was perfect for our games every night. The home had everything we needed. Hope to make a return visit sometime.
