Charming contemporary condo, with incredible views from every window. Unit-wide terrace overlooking peaceful and private Cowpet Bay, St. John and Great St. James.



Take in the spectacular views from your 1400 square foot three bedroom, three bath, non-smoking condo overlooking beautiful Cowpet Bay. The condo has everything you need for a relaxing, fun getaway. The living area has an extra large sectional sofa, a 40-inch TV, and a DVD player/stereo with iPod player and complimentary wireless internet service. It has an extra large covered terrace with outdoor dining/lounging space that comfortable seats six. Inside, you have three oversized king bedrooms with hotel linens, each with their own private full bath and towels. All have AC, individual ceiling fans, large TVs with DVD players and closets with hanging space. Two suites have open ocean views and access to the outdoor terrace. The kitchen features all expected appliances (refrigerator, oven/cooktop, dishwasher, microwave), plus utensils, and additional dining space for six.



It only takes 30 seconds to walk to the beautiful palm tree lined beach where there are complimentary beach and lounge chairs. Here you can bask in the sun or lay in the shade of a palm or seagrape tree. The beach has a large protected swimming area and an area where you can snorkel. Next to the beach is a large beautifully landscaped pool with hot tub. There is also a great bar and restaurant, Caribbean Fish Market, serving dinner and drinks.



In the buzzing nearby town of Red Hook, you can take a ferry to St. John and the British Virgin Islands (passport required). The town has a great mix of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, a fully stocked grocery/liquor/wine store, gift and specialty boutiques, plus a large marina for all your fishing/charter needs. All of this within a mile of the condo.

This condo was an excellent layout out for my family. We traveled with a 15 month old and the amenities and accommodations were great. I appreciated the king beds and private bathrooms for each room. One room even has a twin trundle bed. The beach, pool and restaurants are all fantastic and perfect quiet spot for relaxation and beauty. John the Host is responsive and seems genuinely engaged with his visitors. He has a large SUV for rent which was perfect size for all of us. Although driving on the other side of the lane was quite harrowing. I am happy we chose this property for our vacation.

The condo was just perfect for the 6 of us. We enjoyed coffee every morning on the deck over looking the bay. It was easy to get a taxi and go to Red Hook . The kitchen worked to make breakfast.

It was adequate...very clean and a great amount of appliances available. A few issues were electrical outlets that didn't work, tv remotes that didn't work, not all toiletries were in all bathrooms, wristbands for pool admittance did not work at all, sliding glass door needs oiled perhaps, pool closet needs cleaned out and broken things thrown out, kitchen faucet needs attention, ironing board could be replaced and having to dispose of the trash off sight was not ideal at all. Overall it was just very old and worn out and could use some renovation. 1100 a night was just too much for what it was.

Hi Brenda, I'm sorry you felt the need to write this review. This is our best reviewed condo, so I'm surprised. You didn't need to dispose of trash off site. We have trash cans at the end of the path. I'll look at the other things you mentioned, as these are easy fixes. We did have two new bathrooms installed a year ago and a new kitchen installed a year ago also. If you'd have shared this with me at the start of your stay, would could've made replacements.

We had an amazing time, the views from the house alone were worth the whole trip. There were 5 of us and plenty of space. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was perfect. Enough space to spread out but a balcony and living room big enough that it was easy to all be together too.Being so close to the beach was awesome and there are multiple restaurants within walking distance. There's also a little shop to rent kayaks and snorkeling gear. The snorkeling gear rental was for 24 hours and we could have taken it to other locations which I would recommend doing. We didn't bring it with us when we took a day trip to st. John thinking we'd be able to rent stuff there only to find out the beach we went to didn't have any available and another beach we went to expensive to rent. The little poolside bar was also great! We spent a little time at the pool but honestly the beach was so gorgeous and the water so calm we didn't feel like we "needed" the pool as much as I thought we would.We picked up groceries at Moe's in Red Hook which was super convenient. And the ferry to st. John is maybe 10 minutes from the house.I would recommend this place in a heartbeat and we'd definitely be back if we visit St Thomas again

Could not have asked for a better experience from start to finish. Condo was clean and spacious for our family of 5 and well stocked all around. Restaurants and pool were a quick 5-10 minute walk and had some of the best meals at them.

We had a great stay at this perfect condo! The beds were comfortable and we loved all having our own separate spaces. There were plenty of pool floaties and had everything we needed! It’s in a great location but you definitely need to rent a car. The view from the balcony was amazing to wake up to every morning which I attached photos of. The pool was so nice and never super busy so you could quietly lay out for hours. We all agreed we would stay here again.

Amazing family vacation

The property was as described, the views were gorgeous, and the area was clean and quiet. We loved the Red Hook area. Great selection of beaches and restaurants. Also, close to ferry. St. John is a must see! The only real issue with the property is the amount of steps, if you have older folks or health problems in your group.

Great family stay!

My family of 7 really enjoyed our stay. The property was overall a bit dated, but clean and convenient. If you're looking for excellent communication, cleanliness and convenience, definitely book!

Why they chose this property

We bought this condo because we visited St Thomas with two friends of ours the year before. The area is absolutely gorgeous, from the turquoise ocean and the incredible views, to the lush vegetation that grows on the island. We fell in love with the place. The climate is great and the people that live here are the friendliest and most laid back you'll find.

What makes this property unique

The view as you walk in is breathtaking. Every time we walk over the arched threshold, you feel like you're on vacation. The condo is spacious and has everything you need. The beds are soooo comfortable.
