Hello,
We were a little disappointed in this house and stay. I will start with a positive note, the house inside was cute and fairly clean and the air conditioner worked well. The things that we didn't like was there was a very tiny broom and no dust pan. We had even called and were told someone would bring us a bigger broom and dust pan and possibly even a sweeper. We never received it so we bought a broom and dust pan. There are zero rugs so your feet feel dirty all the time. The kitchen appliances and saying it is well stocked is not true. The cookware are so old and cheap and most don't work well. The non stick pans are not non stick anymore, we had to buy a pan with sides because there was none as well as a cork screw. Thankfully we brought our own dish towels because there was I believe one. The oven mitt almost burned my husband because it is so worn down. The sink for the kids didn't drain well, the lights flickered and didn't work half the time, especially the one in the kitchen. The worst was how incredibly uncomfortable the master bed was! There was no comfort and both my husbands and my backs Ached the whole time due to poor quality of mattress and absolutely no cushion or support. The doors don't lock in master and bathroom in master so virtually zero privacy. We hated the goat heads around the property and we were constantly stepping on them and pulling them off our dog. Those are easy to get rid of and the side of this house is an eye sore and needs some maintenance. So overall , we have stayed at other beach houses and had much better experiences for the same prices. So no this was not our favorite place to stay nor would we recommend it.
This house was perfect for my husband, our dog, and myself to spend our anniversary. The house had more room than we needed but the price was very reasonable. The kitchen was well equipt with everything we needed (can opener needs to be replaced). We could not get the wi-fi to work and ended up spending an hour on the phone with the internet company to try to connect. They couldn't help us since we did not have a phone number associated with the account. This wasn't Saturday after 5:00, so the realty office was closed, we gave up. The queen size bed was quite comfortable, as well as the living room furnishings. Laundry room was huge and so was the hall bath. The view from the front deck was nice to watch the boats come in with their daily catch. We took a morning stroll to the beach. After breakfast, a 2 minute drive to the beach where our dog was welcome, on a leash. There isn't any marked street parking for the beach, so we parked along the road. A local told us that is where people park without issue. I am already looking at dates for our next trip.
Upon arrival to the rental unit, we recognized immediately several positive factors. The parking was great and without sand, the view is spectacular, the interior of the house was well furnished and was immaculately clean. The house is NOT furnished with thrift store stuff and the kitchen is well stocked. Serving ware, silverware, crock pots, coffee pot, Kierig....and on and on and on. I have rented many units over the years and this unit will be occupied by my family again. When first coordinating our trip, I was thinking that the unit was about $300 to high but it was the area where I wanted to be. When we arrived and during our stay I recognized that the unit is worth what is charged. To the property owner, THANK YOU for allowing my family to stay at your house.

Our stay was for 3 nights and we enjoyed every minute. The location was quiet and had great views of the bay. The house has a great open layout, with lots of windows to soak up the sunshine! It's furnished nicely with everything you'll need. It was clean and well kept. No issues at all! Pet Friendly is a plus!
