Jackie was a wonderful host. We had a girls weekend of talking, relaxing, eating and some wine. She told me I would fall in love with Murphys, and she was right. We really had a great long weekend!

Great friends getaway

Had a great few days here. House is clean, well stocked, and good communal areas and enough space for the four of us. It’s also an easy walk into town which made it perfect when we wanted to stretch our legs, walk to wine tasting, etc. overall was a lovely stay.

Red Gate Retreat was the perfect place for our girls long weekend get away! Jackie was a phenomenal host. Provided lots of great recommendations on wineries, restaurants and nearby adventures. We were in town for a concert at the Ironstone Vineyard Amphitheater and had no idea how much we would love Murphys! Such a cute town with lots to see and do. We spent a day walking from winery to winery. We went to Yosemite National Park one day. On Sunday we hit the farmers market in the community park and bought lots of snacks we enjoyed before the concert. Red Gate Retreat is an easy, short walk into town. There is an amazing coffee place right at the end of the street with delicious pastries. The cinnamon rolls were a favorite! Highly recommend Jackie’s retreat home. It had everything we needed for a very memorable trip to Murphys!
