The Gathering Place fue completamente remodelado. La alegre sala de estar tiene techos altos y una chimenea y también hay una sala junto a la cocina. Todas las habitaciones están en el segundo piso. El maestro tiene una cama king y su propio baño. Una habitación con dos gemelos y otra con una cama matrimonial y una litera gemela divertida encima.
El aire y el calor centrales mantienen esta casa cómoda en cualquier clima. Lavadora y secadora disponibles y estacionamiento en la calle para su vehículo. Esta casa es perfecta para familias o grupos que desean estar a poca distancia del centro de Murphys (7 minutos a pie por un vecindario residencial).

Property was in a great neighborhood but the house seems to have been used a lot without much tlc over the years. Broken kitchen cabinet, marks on the walls, outside furniture was dirty. Overall, we expected more, particularly for the price. Won’t recommend this property.

We had a nice stay, the home is comfortable and well maintained. Our family of 4 had enough room to spread out between the 2 living spaces and everyone slept well. The only thing we found missing that would have been nice was a dedicated work desk in at least one of the bedrooms. The backyard is large and fully fenced in which was nice for our golden retriever to explore. The home is tucked into the end of a court in a seemingly quiet neighborhood and backs to open-space so it was very peaceful during our stay. If we ever visit the area again I think we'd check here first for availability.

Relaxing Stay, Perfect Location

Loved our stay at this property. We were in town for a sad occasion, my father's memorial service. Staying in this home was perfect for inviting friends in to chat about my dad. It also gave us easy access to town to meet more friends at Hovey for a gathering after the services. Kitchen amenities had everything we needed and the rooms were so comfortable.

Comfortable house near downtown Murphys

Nice house newly remodeled. Everything felt clean and fresh. We walked to town and close drive to Mercer Caverns.

overall very pleasant stay. couldn't get the upstair tv to work and barbecue grill needs to updated. would stay again.

Room for 7!

The 7 of us were celebrating our dear friend's bachelorette party. It was a spacious and fun home to be in. We were too nervous plus too hot to use the outdoor fire pit but even the outdoor patio was adorable.

Great location and close to Main Street. Loved our stay.

If you’re looking for a place to stay, look no more. This house is it. Close to Main Street. The house is lovely and we’ll equipped. The beds and pillow are so comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for sharing your home.

Cute house, beautiful neighborhood.

Girls weekend. Super close to downtown. We walked there and back. It's about 15 min. Place was clean and beds were comfy. Bring salt!! (If you are cooking and like it in ur food.) Would def stay here again!!

Just what we wanted!

This was a perfect place for our girls trip to Murphys! The house was very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated. The walk to downtown was nice, but definitely hot, and a little much after a day of wine tasting. However, that's the price you pay for a good time! ;) It was definitely worth it and I would recommend this lovely home. Thanks for a great stay!!

Great place - quiet & clean

House was great! It was hot & smoky, so really appreciate them having AC checked out and running before we arrived. House was well equipped and nice set up. We slept great - very comfortable beds. We had a great time - quiet neighborhood and easy walk down to town.

A.C not sufficient

The property was in good shape. Clean and amenities where very nice. The ambient temperature was hot!!! The AC did not keep up so the house was hot! When we would leave for the days activities the ac would turn off on its own. When we would get back to the house the AC could not cool the house especially upstairs where the bedrooms are located. Sleeping was rough do to the temp. The ac unit seems old and should be updated. I would suggest a mini split unit for the upstairs. I would not choose this property in the summer again.

Beautiful home in quaint Murphys

Great home with big kitchen for family meals. Close to town for fun walks and treats. A great base for our adventures in the Sierras. Super comfy bed sheets!

Best Friends Weekend 2020

My best friends and I had a wonderful weekend at this home in Murphy's. The house was very clean and cozy. We did have an issue with the heating system, but the property manager, Anna was amazing and quickly took care of the problem, We would definitely stay there again.

Great location to explore the Mother Lode

Wow, what a wonderful property! We have rented lots of properties around the country through VRBO and this was among the best. A big comfy home in a quiet neighborhood near enough to the downtown to walk to dinner, wine and shops. It was perfect for our family of four adults. The home is even better than the pictures show, and there are such nice touches, like a small selection of local coffees and coffee supplies to get us started. In fact, we did not have to buy any additional "supplies" (paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, trash bags, etc.) during our stay. We were only there for a few days and unlike some of our other stays we didn't really do any cooking so that may have made a difference, but plenty to get road-weary travelers started for sure. Several other little touches I will let you discover for yourself! Really felt like visiting a good friend's house rather than a rental. We really enjoyed being able to walk back and forth to Murphys Main Street. We took advantage of the nice fall weather to walk to town for coffee and pastries each morning and loved being able to walk home from dinner and wine tastings in the afternoon/evenings. Could have even walked to church on Sunday morning! We brought our wine purchases home and enjoyed a fun night around the fire pit as well. Our son was performing in a show in Columbia and suggested Murphys as our home base. Sonora, Columbia, Angels Camp, Arnold & Big Trees were all within easy driving distance. Truthfully, I hesitated at first on this property because it didn't have any reviews on VRBO, but with a little research, I found it on AirBnB and also a local rental site and am assuring you not to worry...we all loved it and have great memories of our trip!
