This is a great home for staying in and relaxing or exploring the many wonderful things the Sierra Foothills have to offer. Calaveras Big Tree state park is just a 20 minute drive, Iron Stone music venue is 6 minutes. Explore the caverns and caves in the area for the more adventurous. This home and area has something for everyone!

We had a wonderful stay. The home had everything we needed and then some. Plenty enough seating, comfortable furniture, lots of extra bedding and towels. No complaints whatsoever. We will for sure look into staying again for our next trip to Murphy’s.

This rental has it all! Thoughtfully placed chargers, fully stocked linen closets, plenty of kitchenware and appliances. We were able to walk to a winery, window shop and get ice cream downtown. Charming neighborhood and spacious rooms. I greatly appreciated the host’s clear and prompt communication including the handy QR codes around the rental explains things. Would definitely stay again!

This is a lovely home in a nice neighborhood. It is great for groups with all ages. We walked from there to downtown easily. Would certainly recommend this home and Murphys for a get away.

Great Location & New Build Neighborhood

We stayed for a family wedding, this is a great location within walking distance to downtown. The ping pong table was a hit for our kids. Nice and quiet neighborhood!

Close to downtown and highway in quiet new neighborhood. Kitchen was well stocked, including spices and sauces. Would stay here again!

To say we enjoyed is home would be an understatement. From the cleanliness, well appointed kitchen to the hot tub and fluffy robes the host thought of everything. We would absolutely stay again. The place is just so lovely and homey!

Beautiful and everything you need!

The property is close enough to walk to downtown and quiet at night. Beautiful home with great consideration to the guests. Comfortable beds and plenty of seating. Our only struggles was figuring out the TV. Quick response from owners. Would definitely stay there again!

Thank you so much for your feedback. We are working on getting the Tv more streamline as the built-in smart TV is not great. Should be better next week when we hook it through the Roku!

Beautiful and convenient location

This sage house was one of the most beautiful locations. I can say we’ve stayed at. The beds were amazing and the sheets were so super soft. Everything was easily accessible by walking. The house has everything and is very beautiful and spacious. They had labels on everything so it was easy to find things, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay again.

Great Stay for a Wedding Weekend!

We had a wonderful stay at the Murphy's Sage House while in town for a friend’s wedding! The home was well-equipped with all the amenities our family needed, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of snacks available for purchase via Venmo. The only minor issue was a strong odor upon arrival—possibly from nearby manure or animals—but after airing out the house and using some Lysol, it cleared up. Thank you for being such accommodating hosts!

Great Girls Getaway

The Sage House was perfect for our girls getaway weekend. The house had everything we needed and more. So, so many thoughtful touches in the home. Super comfortable and walking distance to most of Main Street. We are saving this place for a future return.
