This was the place for us!

We have a large family and the Fade Away Lodge was perfect for us. Plenty of space to spread out, room for several to cook our meals in the kitchen, lots to do in the game room. We hope to come and stay there again. We absolutely loved it!!!!

The house was clean and location is beautiful! Plenty of space to spread out for 14 ladies. The kitchen was amazing and had plenty of dish-ware! Would definitely stay here again. A couple of things that were not in the listing that should be: 1. there is a gate that you come to and need to open and the driveway is a probably .5 of a mile. We weren’t positive we were at the right place. 2. The doorknob is very fidgety. It took us a while to actually get into the front door because the doorknob wouldn’t turn. This house is fantastic for a big group!

Cleanest property we have ever rented!

We had a wonderful weekend! We celebrated our son’s graduation from TTU and his proposal to his girlfriend while at this time. It’s a perfect place for families who enjoy great views, hiking, and a clean home! We will never forget the weekend we stayed here!

Fantastic Cabin for a Big Group

I met up with a group of friends and family at the cabin for an extended weekend and we absolutely loved it. The pictures really don't do the views justice, and everything was so clean and thoughtfully arranged. Our group of 14 felt like we had more than enough space both inside and outside. I highly recommend the property to large groups looking to get away!

Exactly what we wanted!!

My husband and I got married in brush creek. We wanted our parents and siblings to stay together a couple of days leading up to the wedding and this was perfect!! It was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable and not feel crammed! They made it so homey!

Givens-Reno-Ray Birthday Celebration

Our family planned this weekend as a celebration of our Dad’s 75th Birthday. The cabin was beautiful and provided the perfect place for us to enjoy family in a tranquil setting. The scenic overlook was amazing and we had an awesome experience exploring outdoors, hunting for rocks, and fishing. The cabin was wonderfully equipped with everything we needed with plenty of room. We will definitely return and our next stay will be more than 2 days.

We had to book it last minute due to another house falling through, and they were very accommodating. Not much around as far as food and such, but that was a plus for us. Cookeville is not a far drive and has everything you would want to eat and for entertainment. Loved everything about the house and the view. Will for sure stay again!

I would say 3 couples w kids is max as the majority of beds are in small bunk room. Bunks are comfortable as I am 6’2” and slept in one for 2 nights. The deck and view are incredible! Thanks for sharing your place!Note the railings inside and out could use some reinforcements...

****Be aware****

Check everything when you first arrive, the owner's where trying to charge me for a few items that was already broken prior to my arrival. I felt i was being scammed. Also they wanted to charge me extra for excessive cleaning. I rented this home for Transformed Church out of Paragould, Ark. They brought the youth girl's to come help feed Tornado victims, truck drivers hauling the debris, and the homeless.

We had enough beds and we loved that there was enough silverware and dinnerware for everyone in our party. The only slight issues we had were figuring out lights and their switches in the kitchen and living room and some of the over/under lighting in the kitchen didn't work, making the room a little darker than wanted. Also, due to no blinds/curtains on the large windows in the living room, the sun streamed in onto the tv, making viewing difficult. But these were not big issues and didn't detract from the enjoyment of our stay.

The prefect fit.

Great house, very nice we love it! Love the game room! plenty of room for a family of thirteen we had a great time. Lots of room for parking, love the long driveway and the view of the lake. We do recommend it and we will return. The only issues we found were a couple of light bulbs were out and the gass oven worked fine on Friday but on Saturday the BAKE portion on the oven would not light up so we had to go the grill to worm up some ribs. Had to light the grill with hand lighter, once the grill lit all of the flames were in the front of the grill no flames in the back of the grill. All the burnners needed to replaced and it had no heat shields. The lighting for the deck steps were nonexistent after dark the steps were hard to see. None of the issues dampen our visit it was great.
