Notes
- we use the two stone stables to provide an additional casual summer garden chill out room for teenagers / kids . The second stable houses the pool table . Both have sunny aspect opening onto the oldstable courtyard with the river walled and fenced off to the rear. Access to the river is by gates, with steps to a platform , from which to dip toes, launch paper boats...Fish are small but plentiful and guests have some success with brown trout. Almost daily visits from a local heron confirm the fish are there ... see if you can catch them! The meadows across the river belong to the property also ... so feel free to explore. The upper lawn is about an acre , with mature trees surrounding it , completely private and under planted with bulbs. Summer house and terraces provide sunny and shaded seating options. An acre of maintained lawn with small copse gives great picnicing and football opportunities, boules etc., Charcoal Weber bbq on request at euro 15. Fire brazier
