About Ashley Keers
We welcome you to come share the joy we find in Meursault, Burgundy. Our American family started coming to France annually nearly 20 years ago. We love the culture and the people, the history and the scenery. During the years we lived abroad in crowded cities in China, Burgundy became our escape to a slower pace-- a place to remember to appreciate the beauty in good food, good wine, and good company.
Ashley Keers purchased this House in 2016
Why Ashley Keers chose Meursault
After years of renting other people’s homes, we decided to create our own home base in France. We searched and searched for just the right house in just the right location, and finally discovered these two stone buildings with the potential to be exactly the home we had dreamt of. After two years of renovation from afar (yes it is possible!), the homes are ready to share.

Excellent place to stay in Meursault!
I can't say enough about Colleen's place in Meursault. We had 5 adults (my husband and I, and our adult son, daughter and son-in-law). This was a perfect fit for 5 people. The beds were very comfortable, the shower was great and even the towels were fantastic. The kitchen is one of the best supplied kitchens of any Airbnb I've been to. The location couldn't be better; it is a very short walk to the town center that has a store, patisserie, and wine tasting bar. I will recommend this place to friends and family without hesitation.
We had the pleasure of spending 8 days at the Version La Maison in the charming village of Meursault France. This inviting cottage was everything we hoped for. The space was open, spacious and inviting. The kitchen was perfectly appointed with everything you might need. Beds were extremely comfortable with a spacious ensuite bath.
Everything was spotlessly clean. It was the perfect space to return to after a day of wine tasting, touring and eating!
This cottage is a short walk to the Village Center where there are several wonderful restaurants, a market, a couple of coffee shops, wine stores, boulangerie ( for morning baguettes!). All within a stroll!
The owners couldn't have been more helpful. The website https://french-holiday-cottages.com is filled with invaluable information on sites to see, restaurants, nearby villages, Chateauxs and so much more.
Located in the heart of the Burgundy region the location is ideal for immersing in the French culture.
Easter in France
This was our second Easter trip to France and “Wow” what at difference!! Our first stay was in a charming old castle, but required a drive to anything. This time we stayed in an old, but up to date home right in a beautiful old town, walking distance to everything. Restaurants, museums, wine shops, groceries, all are just steps away. The house is a gem!!! The outside is like all the others, so fits right in. The inside is all up to date with every modern convenience. Yet it retains an old world charm. Oh and both the heat and Air Conditioning are controlled room by room. We like to sleep in a cool bedroom, and our friends like it warm. Around Easter it can be cool one day and quite warm the next. PERFECT! Just set the thermostat and sleep in comfort. Love,Love, Love this place!!!
Wonderful base to explore the Burgundy region.
This beautifully renovated property was the perfect place to stay for our visit to Meursault. It was well equipped with everything we needed. The sheets, towels, and amenities were all new and of great quality. We were able to stroll down the street to lovely restaurants or grab groceries and make a few meals in. Jump on the bikes and ride out through the beautiful vineyards. This place has it all!
Thanks for your review. We're so glad you enjoyed the house and village.
Beautiful home in a beautiful location
My first time in Meursault and first time in Burgundy. I was able to stay with friends and Meursault was a beautiful introduction to the area. I enjoyed the home and its very convenient location just a block from the village center and an easy walk to run to the bakery in the morning for croissants, the market for making a dinner, and also a wine shop, a gift store, and several restaurants. The quiet village is great for walking and simply beautiful. The home is recently remodeled and was very well done. It is modern, clean, and has a well-appointed kitchen with everything you might need. There are two lovely bedrooms with their own bathrooms and all modern conveniences including towel warming racks, wood floors, and lovely linens on the beds. The third bedroom is in a separate space that would be perfect for the kids with a pull out couch (I hear it was very comfortable) and its own bathroom. It has slider doors to close it off from the kitchen and has a separate dining table. It was great not having to use the car - only for the easy short drive into Beaune or to explore further afield. Great place to stay for wine tasting, or just if you want to step back in time to a quieter and gentler way of life. You can take an early morning walk, watch the sun rise over the vineyards, listen to the birds chirp, and listen to the church bells chime. Heavenly!
Thanks for leaving such a nice review. We're so glad you enjoyed your stay and would be happy to welcome you back again.
Nothing could be finer!
My husband and I were lucky to find this fabulous gite in Meursault because a friend had watched it renovated. What can one say about a perfect cottage in a lovely small French town. Nothing we could have thought of for a rental was left out. From the kitchen equipment to the silky sheets, the owners made sure our needs were met. The little surprise gift of cookies wasn't bad either! We could not believe we had so many restaurants in walking distance and who would hate the idea of walking a few blocks for breakfast pastries in the morning. The drive to Beaune and Dijon was simple ,too. We couldn’t have had a better experience.
Thanks so much for leaving a note. We're so glad you enjoyed your stay.
